Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hydrating Aromatic Moisturiser Received the Glow Lab Facial Moisturiser at the Best in Beauty Marketplace. I had seen this brand on the supermarket shelves but never thought to try it but now pleasantly surprised by the quality of this product and will be trying more of their range. Packaging of this large 100ml size tube with a flip top lid is very simplistic and no nonsense. First impression at the event was how lovely it smelt – more like a hand or body cream and I wish this scent was available in those products! I initially applied this at night as I was trialling another moisturiser in the morning. Used after applying a serum. It’s quite a lightweight moisturiser and only a small amount is needed and you can apply it liberally over your face, neck and chest. I found it to be very moisturizing and not surprising as it contains macadamia, rosehip seed oil and shea butter, boosted with vitamin E, The fragrance is an essential oil blend of jasmine, daffodil, ylang ylang, orange, violet and clove leaf. As you can see it contains a multitude of natural ingredients. And after using it for over a week at night time, I’ve switched to using it in the morning after my morning serum. It sits well underneath my makeup and I find it to be a lovely day moisturiser due to it being lightweight. As it doesn’t contain an SPF, I use one over it. Product is a great price and not even on special! Very impressed and will keep a look out for other items in the range to pick up when on special – benefit of supermarket brands! Proves that a product doesn’t have to be triple the price to be effective.

I really like moisturisers that come in tubes so that was the first plus for this product. The moisturiser is easy to dispense and a small amount goes a long way. The product gets absorbed really easily into the skin and feels really light. I have been using it at night for the last few days and can feel the difference in my skin. I like the soft fragrance as its quite mild and pleasant.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight and hydrating I was lucky enough to receive this product from the beautyheaven girls and I was very eager to give it a go. This product is so lightweight and fast absorbing. I really liked how it feels on the skin and how the slight aroma to it is not too strong that it lingers on your face. I have been using this moisturizer both day and night and can't get enough of it. At night time, I do put an oil on first and follow with this moisturizer. Will be defiantly purchasing!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New fan, right here I (incorrectly) assumed because Glow Lab products were available at Woolworths that they were a homebrand and wouldn’t be any good. I’m very happy to eat humble pie and give more of their products a go. I do want to acknowledge that this was a giveaway at the BH Best In Beauty event and that I didn’t buy it, but if it hadn’t been given away I probably would never have bought it, nor would you be reading this review and considering it yourself. Thanks Glow Lab and BH. So where do I start? It’s a fairly light lotion, with a very faint aroma of rosehips (I think). That aroma disappears almost as soon as the lotion is absorbed, which is good for sensitive noses like mine and won’t compete with perfume or other fragranced products you might be using. A little bit goes a long way, start off with much less than you think you’ll need, or you’ll end up having to spread it across your whole body. It absorbs very quickly into the skin, leaving no residue or stickiness. For those with sensitive skin you’ll be pleased to know I had no reaction and, while there are no guarantees, my skin has been known to react to the most benign facial products. It’s loaded with natural ingredients, dermatologically tested (& not animal tested), made just across the ditch in NZ, and even tells you what compounds are in the tube and cap for recycling purposes. All positives for me. A great daily moisturiser, and I’m definitely going to check out more of the Glow Lab range based on my experience with this moisturiser.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Moisturiser I received this product at the beautyheaven Best in Beauty Event 2019 and was a little hesitant to try it as I have quite volatile/combination skin - any changes to my skin routine can cause major break outs/redness, however this face moisturiser has caused none of that - woo! It has a pleasant scent and it's not a heavy moisturiser - but even so, it does take a little while to absorb fully. It has left my skin soft and hydrated though.

It’s the perfect consistency. It also smells delicious. Great value for money and would definitely recommend if you’re looking fo something new to try!

To start off with the packaging, it comes in a plastic squeeze bottle and easily dispense the product. Coming to product I really like its watery consistency. It immediately gets absorbed in the skin and provides much needed hydration. its non greasy and doesn't feel like sitting on the skin at all. Its jam packed with amazing ingredients like macadamia oil, Vitamin E and Rosehip oil. It's also very affordable in terms of price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great moisturiser I purchased this when it was on special at my local Woolworths. Even when not in sale it is still amazing value for what you get. I use this at night over my serums/oils as it has no SPF in it. It smells really lovely and absorbs very well into my skin. In the morning I wake up with soft supple skin. I love that this Cream has no nasties in it and is rich in Vitamin E, antioxidants and it’s even ph balanced. I haven’t found a product in the Glow Lab range that isn’t great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Floral Light Amazing Scent I'm splurging out and giving this five stars because I am totally rapt with the scent of it - it is from genuine, real floral extracts and I think it may be the most delicate touch of real violet oil in it that has got be going nuts over this face moisturiser. It has a refreshing, almost cooling sensation on the skin as I apply it and yes I can smell the most delicate of fragrance - but it's a light touch of fragrance, not at all heavy. My skin feels freshly moisturised and comfortable. There is no SPF in this but that then means I can use it for day or night. It's a white cream which is in a generous 100ml tube and the price point is great making this such great value for money. So much cream to be generous with this to put it all down my neck, decollette and face too of course. I love most other ingredients too - so many botanical ones in this. I love the rose gold metallic print on the front of the tube - the design is classic and simple yet a little bit glam with the rose gold.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect hydrating moisturiser I received this moisturizer as part of a trial team and immediately appreciated it's size and the simplicity of its application tube. It comes in a generous 100ml size which is excellent value for money, making it the perfect choice for the budget conscience. The formula is packed with impressive botanical ingredients that are known for their beneficial qualities and it's comforting to know that it's a natural based product that doesn't include any harsh ingredients. The cream is a pleasant, lightly scented lanolin like fragrance that isn't overpowering at all. Although the moisturizer is rather thick in texture, it glides over the skins surface like a slippery substance that literally melts into a serum and is absorbed into the skin within 3 - 5 minutes. The effectiveness of the ingredients were very apparent as my skin felt smoothly soft and my wrinkles less noticeable. I also appreciated the firmness it brought to my skin with a contoured appearance.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Light and breezy moisture I would like to thank Beautyheaven and glow lab for giving me the opportunity to trial this facial moisturiser. I am always on the lookout for new moisturises and as such was very excited to try this one that I haven’t seen before. The packaging is quite minimalist and while it doesn’t stand out on a beauty shelf, I did quite enjoy the simplicity of it. The texture of the moisturiser is quite thin and almost applies a bit too lightly, as I do prefer a richer feel to my moisturisers, particularly at night. I would use this moisturiser more as a day lotion in warmer weather. It does absorb very quickly and did leave my skin feeling soft and lightly moisturised. It has a white sent, not very offensive and I think the majority of people could easily tolerate it. Overall an interesting product, one that may replace my current day moisturiser, especially coming into summer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great everyday moisturiser for all ages The Glow lab facial moisturiser is a good everyday moisturiser that can be used day or night. It contains no SPF so will need layering with sunscreen when using it it during the day and you aren't planning to be indoors. For this very reason I enjoyed using this moisturiser as I am predominately at home give the lockdown due to the pandemic and without the sunscreen ingredients, I find the moisturiser light, hydrating and so easily absorbed into my skin. It is lightly scented with essential oils of botanicals which smells fresh and not overpowering on application. I also liked the fact that the ingredients are mostly natural based using seed oils and vitamin E to provide hydration to all skin types, even sensitive, irritated skin as I didn't feel any stinging sensations even when I applied it on broken skin It fact, it was quite soothly and calming on irritated skin. The hydration level is average so if you have very dry skin you may need something that is more emollient so I think this moisturiser has the perfect consistency for use during the Spring and Summer seasons. I found that as I need a more emollient product and I don't want to use this layered on top of a serum for test purposes, I've only really used this a day moisturiser since it mixes well with other face products without balling, it's easy to use to layer for additional hydration or protection. In one week's use of the product, my skin is soft, well hydrated and fresh looking. without any breakouts or irritation. I'm now going to try it at night too with other products to see if it would amplify the results of my night time skincare products.

Its ingredients include macadamia oil, rosehip seed oil, Shea butter, vitamin E to protect from free radicals and fight signs of premature ageing. A bit of disclaimer here, my facial and neck skin is so oily that I’ve never quite used a facial moisturiser on top of the moisturising I get from the serums and creams I use on my skin to target specific skin issues. Therefore, I don’t think I could make an objective review because I’m not going to stop my regular routine to solely trial the product, but instead, will use this on top of my regular routine even though I don’t feel the need for additional moisturising. The product claims to be for all skin types, so I will test and review it against my skin type. The product is lightweight with an inoffensive light scent. It takes a while for it to absorb, but after a while it did not leave behind a residue. My skin got shinier quicker than usual, so I guess it is moisturising, but that being said it might not be for oily skin that doesn’t need additional moisturising, which is weird because then it won’t exactly be for all skin types but why would you buy a moisturiser if you don’t want/need moisturising? Sorry, I guess what I mean to say is, I wouldn’t purchase this because I don’t need it, but I trialled and reviewed it because it was part of the Beauty Box that I have to review. The best part I could say is, it didn’t break me out and it didn’t hinder my regular products from working.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A lightweight moisturiser I really enjoy the glow lab products, and I'm always looking for new moisturisers that are more natural. Opening the moisturizer was really easy and hygienic, it comes with a flip top lid and squeeze tube. You only need a small amount to cover the face. I was pleasantly surprised by the scent. Sometimes natural ingredients either have an awful scent or over powered by essential oils. For this particular product the main scent I could smell was the shea butter with a subtle scent of the essential oils, Jasmine, daffodils and ylang ylang. It absorbed really quickly and wasn't greasy or drying. It is a very light weight moisturiser so I feel it would be best suited for the warmer months when skin is not as dry. The packaging was really nice, very simple and at a good price point. I would recommend this for anyone who's looking for a lightweight moisturiser on a budget.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Facial Moisturiser I was lucky enough to get the Glow Lab Facial Moisturiser in the Best in Beauty box 2021 from Beautyheaven. The Glow Lab Facial Moisturiser comes in quite a generous tube with a flip lid. The moisturiser comes out as a lightweight cream texture. The scent isn’t overbearing. And when you put it on your face it absorbs very well. It is non greasy and it feels very smooth and nourishing on my skin. My skin looked quite nice, very supple and beautifully moisturised which isn’t surprising as some of the ingredients listed are of macadamia, rosehip seed oil and shea butter boosted with vitamin E as well, all such lovely nourishing ingredients for the skin. I would definitely recommend this beautiful Glow Lab Facial Moisturiser to anyone and everyone but particularly to people who are on a budget that want a great moisturiser that actually works really well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Finally, another face moisturiser for my sensitive skin! I was given the Glow Lab Facial Moisturiser to try as part of the Best in Beauty 2021 trial. I’ve seen their range at Woolies and Priceline but only tried one or two of their products. I’ll be honest, I was very apprehensive about trying this face moisturiser, with the reason being I react to almost all face moisturisers because of a common thickening ingredient that seems to be in everything! My daily staples are La Roche-Posay Toleriane moisturisers which are the few products I don’t react to. I cautiously applied the Glow Lab cream and was absolutely gobsmacked when I didn’t react! A quick skim of the ingredients showed that it lacked the one I react to so it was an amazing surprise that I’ve finally found another moisturiser I can use. Another thing I was quite struck by was the generously large 100ml squeeze tube when most face creams are half, if not a quarter of that size and it’s amazingly affordable too. To put it into perspective, my current facial moisturisers are less than half the size and two to three times as expensive which makes me think that this would make a good alternative if I run out of my usual and it isn’t on sale. The one downside I found and the reason I took off a star is that I found it wasn’t hydrating enough in the still at times cool (and always dry) weather here in Canberra and left my combination skin wanting more. It might be better suited to my skin in summer weather. Overall, I would highly recommend it and I am seriously considering repurchasing it in the warmer months. Another wonderful BH find that I wouldn’t have even considered!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I really liked it, just not on the face though due to essential oils I have not tried Glow Lab products before so this was a first for me. Product comes in a huge100ml (value for money for sure) soft squeeze tube with a flip cap. It is made in New Zealand. The ingredients are interesting, contains a whole host of oils (won't type them all due to space) and essential oils like jasmine flower, daffodil, ylang ylang, violet, orange peel and clove leaf. This is where the problem lies for me, I cannot use citrus based oils on my face as I know it will cause redness and irritation. It also has shea butter really high in the ingredients list. My skin loves shea, but I can't use it on my face as it makes my skin feel coated and sweaty, if that makes sense! I can use it on my neck, chest and hands and this is how I used it. The consistency is quite unusual, an almost watery lotion that soaks in so quickly with absolutely no residue. I can apply it to my hands and immediately drive the car, but my skin is hydrated and supple. I am going to continue to use this product, I do love the results it gives on my hands and chest, it's a really nice product for the price just my personal skin type means I can't use essential oils on my face.

The moisturiser contains macadamia, rosehip seed oil, and shea butter, as well as vitamin E, and claims to soothe and protect the skin, fighting the signs of premature aging. The moisturiser is a white cream which is fairly strongly fragranced, but not unpleasantly so. The cream is quite light in texture and is easily absorbed into the skin. A little big goes a long way; a small amount is enough for the face and neck. The product left a smooth and even surface on my face, and could be used under makeup without causing it to 'pill' or separate. This is a really nice lightweight moisturiser; although I prefer a richer cream at night time, this is a good day moisturiser. My only complaint is that it does not contain a sunscreen.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Effective moisturisation at a great price Comes housed in a 100 ml squeeze tube with a flip lid which I like to keep products from spoiling. The tube says that this product is dermatologically tested, is PH balanced and contains vitamin E. Other Ingredients include shea butter, macadamia and rosehip oil. The fact that this product is antioxidant rich is great to know to keep my skin protected from environmental elements. This is quite impressive to start with. Directions say to apply over face and neck on cleansed skin. As i applied, I noticed the product has a thinnish, light, non greasy texture and absorbs into the skin quite quickly. Perfect for day use and is great for when your in a rush in the morning to prepare for the day. A little goes a long way and I found approximately the size of a 50 cent coin was sufficient to cover my face, neck and top of my décolletage. I did detect a nice, light florally scent to the product which was quite pleasant and didnt linger. Throughout the day, my skin did feel satisfyingly hydrated, protected and plump. During use, I experienced no irritation, no balling issue with makeup, however I did give sufficient time for the product to absorb prior to applying sunscreen and make up. With a price point of around $16, I think this is a smart investment into your skin at a bargain price. Furthermore, this product is often on sale at Woolworths and Big W for half that!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great everyday moisturiser for all skin types I've used a few of Glow Lab products but this is my new favourite. The Glow Lab Facial Moisturiser comes in a generous simple white 100ml tube, with a handy flip lid. The moisturiser has the consistency of a lotion, it's not too heavy and not too watery, it has a subtle natural smell, I guess that's the macadamia and rosehip oil which is quite nice. I applied the lotion on cleansed skin day and night, it's very absorbent and didn't leave my skin oily. It feels so nourishing and hydrating, and really nice after a long day. I have 40-year-old sensitive skin, it's perfect for my skin, I had no reaction. It's also good to put on top of my serums at night. Overall I really love this Facial Moisturiser, it's great value, Cruelty-free contains some of my favourite skin ingredients rosehip oil, shea butter, and vitamin E. I guess for me the only negative is that it does not contain SPF which is really important to me

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Everyday Facial Moisturiser The Glowlab facial moisturiser comes in a convenient squeeze tube with cute detailed packaging. It is easy to open the cap and dispense the product in your hand and the 100ml will last you a long time. The texture of the moisturiser was on the lighter side which i enjoy applying underneath my work makeup for the day. It was quick to absorb which was exactly what I was looking for. It had a pleasant scent that was not overpowering, and my makeup applied perfectly over the top, there was no residue or build up. Throughout the day my skin did start to look oily however that is just my skin in general, nothing some setting powder cant fix. There are some excellent ingredients in this moisturiser including Macadamia and Rose Hip seed oil which will benefit the skin short term as well as long term. This moisturiser is extremely affordable so I believe it is a great buy, especially for those who prefer a lighter daily moisturiser.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Balanced moisturiser Glow Lab is a New Zealand company that makes good quality skincare you can buy in the supermarket. They are cruelty free and this product comes in a recyclable plastic tube - I am impressed they actually give the different recycling codes for the tube and cap. This moisturiser is light and white in colour with a slight smell from the essential oils. Given the number of different oils I’m surprised it doesn’t smell stronger (one of my cats doesn’t like the smell, the other doesn’t seem to mind!). It spreads well and is quickly absorbed without leaving my skin shiny. I’ve used it both day and night but I would prefer something heavier for night. After a week or so of use my mature combination skin looks good but whether it has improved I’m not so sure. I think therefore that it might be more suited to younger skins who don’t yet have any issues to deal with (it says it fights the signs of premature ageing which may be too late for me). It does have lots of good things in it (vitamin E, anti oxidants) so I may see better results after a longer use, I will definite persevere with it. It feels nice on my skin and my skin does feel dewy which is good; as the weather (hopefully) warms up the consistency of this will be perfect, it’s probably a bit light for winter. I wish it had SPF so I don’t have to apply sunscreen after (I’m lazy) but otherwise it seems to be a good moisturiser for its price point.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good quality at an affordable price A simple but amazing facial moisturiser made with all natural ingredients that my skin can't get enough of. This moisturiser has a thin and lightweight texture on skin which absorbs into my skin fairly quickly and doesn't feel greasy at all. It has a pleasant floral scent which I love and doesn't upset my skin. I apply twice a day for a week now and my skin is well hydrated, looking plumped and smooth. In the evening, I would apply a thicker layer on my face as a sleeping mask. The next morning I woke up to a healthy glowing skin. Because this moisturiser has a rather lightweight texture, it is not nourishing enough to use in Winter but perfect for Spring and Summer. Definitely a good facial moisturiser within my budget. I have recommended this moisturiser to my sister and she love it just as much as I do.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great under Make up I always love my skin moisturiser, especially during the spring and winter cold weathers, under make up, so to provide the protective layer, just to prevent breakouts. It is pretty light, which I love, as that means, it will not add extra oiliness and pore clogging throughout the day. It comes in a tube and has only slight scent, which thankfully, is not strong enough to bother me. It is also meant to be long-lasting hydration for all skin types. I love how the ingredients also contain a blend of macadamia, rosehip seed oil and shea butter, boosted with vitamin E, to soothe and protect skin. I have always loved rosehip oil, as thankfully, that has always sit well with my skin and in fact, helps with any old skin marks, leaving my skin feels hydrate and looked brightened too. The other plus is that the product strengthens the skin against environmental damage and fights the signs of premature ageing, especially as I am nearing mid 30s

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Light and fresh Glow Lab Facial Moisturizer is made in New Zealand and theres a lot to like especially for those with sensitive skin - like me. Dermatologically tested, antioxidant rich, PH balanced and Vitamin E enriched. Presented in a neat 100ml plastic squeeze tube it is very easy to store and use, there is no scent at all and the moisturizer is white, light and very easy to apply. I applied this moisturizer after my usual morning facial regime of cleansing and toning .This is a perfect warm weather moisturizer it doesn't feel, heavy, sticky or masky on, just fresh and light. A great base for my very light day foundation which glided on over this product. I didn't suffer any irritation or breakouts and felt that this product would also be great for a young person starting out on skincare and for the elderly as it was so gentle and kind on the skin. I will be buying for my mum as so many products aren't suitable for an 83 year old skin.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Moisturiser Lately my skin has become unpredictable with facial moisturisers something that was fine a few days ago can suddenly turn my skin red and irritated. I was happy to try this moisturiser as I was on the look out for a new facial moisturiser. This is a nice lightweight moisturiser with a very light subtle scent that I likes as sometimes strong scents can set my skin off. As it was very light it absorbed into my skin quickly but still let me feeling moisturised it goes nicely under foundation as you don't have to wait too long for it to absorb. As I only need to use a little bit I feel that this product is very good value as the large tube will last quite awhile. After applying this a night I wake up in the morning with nice fresh looking skin with no sight of the usual redness. I will definitely keep using this product and it is good value for money and gets results.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A light amount of moisturisation I'm always excited to try new face products so I was excited to test this moisturiser out. It comes in a generous 100ml tube with a pop top lid making it quick and easy to get out whilst being kept hygienic. The formula is on the lighter side so I prefer to use this as a day moisturiser whilst using a thicker product at night especially during winter. A little bit goes a long way and I find it rubs in pretty quickly to my skin. It doesn't contain any SPF though so during the day I needed to add some afterwards. The product has a very light scent to it but nothing that I found very noticeable. After applying my skin felt a little hydrated and softer but I would need something a bit thicker if my skin was feeling extra dry. Overall this is a good face moisturiser that would suit a range of skin types with a list of awesome ingredients like Rosehip oil and macadamia that are great for the skin.

I received a full-sized tube of Glow Lab Facial Moisturiser in the Best in Beauty 2021 Box to trial for free from Beautyheaven. I also received another facial product to trial, so I used them on different halves of my face in case one made my blemish-prone skin breakout. Products with Vitamin E are my worst zit triggers, so I was very pleasantly surprised that after using this moisturiser for 13 nights in a row, it did not cause breakouts! Another pleasant surprise was how light this felt on my skin. This white moisturiser has the consistency of a lotion & a mild, floral scent. So many moisturisers make my skin feel like it's coated in plastic wrap, but Glow absorbed quickly, without greasiness - & no suffocating feeling! At first, I thought this moisturiser wasn't making a difference to my skin; but after a couple of days, I noticed my skin felt softer in the mornings. It did not feel deeply nourishing - I felt like my skin needed a little more moisturisation. However, after a lifetime of having oily skin, at 55, my skin is finally starting to normalise. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Melts into the skin Thanks BH and Glow Lab for the opportunity to trial Glow Lab Facial Moisturiser. Glow Lab Facial Moisturiser comes in a large sized flip top tube, and is full of goodies like macadamia oil and rosehip oil. Being a fan of rosehip oil on my skin, I was hoping the moisturiser would offer that same “nourished” feeling. It delivers! The texture is quite thin and fluid, and despite containing oils there is no greasy after-feel. This lotion melted into my skin in an instant, leaving a great base for applying makeup. Just don’t forget the SPF, as this product doesn’t contain any. It smells just delightful - sort of botanical, and reminds me of the scent of products used at my local day spa. But it’s not overpowering at all, and within a few minutes I didn’t notice it. I will admit my skin drank it up so fast after my evening facial routine that I applied again just before bed, but it may well be that at 44 my skin need that little bit more. A lovely product.
