Directions

Apply to clean skin after cleansing, fill dropper with serum and apply 3-4 drops in the evening on face and neck. Always use in conjunction with a moisturiser and daily sunscreen.

I really value the inclusion of B3 in this formula because along with the anti-aging benefits of retinol B3 additionally helps to counteract pigmentation and improve skin barrier function. I have used many retinol products and by comparison La Roche-Posay Retinol B3 Serum was much kinder to the skin. It did not cause a burning sensation, which some retinol products do, and it left my skin feeling soft and hydrated from application until morning. I would recommend La Roche-Posay Retinol B3 Serum, particularly for those with sensitive skin.

The serum has a silky texture and absorbs quickly. Since using at night I have noticed an improvement in the texture and tone of my skin. I’d been having some problems with redness and was worried the retinol may have irritated it further, the opposite turned out to be true. Seems like it has helped calm it down. Have enjoyed using this serum and the results.

I was so excited to be part of this trial as I am a regular user of laroche Posay products and love them and they sure haven’t disappointed with this new serum either. My serum was yellow upon opening however, don’t let that deter you at all. It was so easy to apply and a little goes a long way. I only needed a few drops to cover my face and neck. It didn’t leave a sticky or oily residue it’s as if it absorbs into your skin within seconds. I had no skin irritations or reactions to the serum and have been using it every night. I love how soft and hydrated my skin feels after using it. I did get a few breakouts after using but this would have been from the retinol in the product pushing out all of the impurities in my pores. My skin looks fresh and hydrated- very highly recommended and great product for the price tag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Surprising Little Bottle [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I greatly enjoyed trialling out the La Roche-Posay Retinol B3 Serum and have been greatly impressed by the results as I have only been using a little while so l look forward to even greater results when I continue to use this everyday on a regular basis. This was the first time that I have used a retinol product and was a bit worried that it might react to my skin and make me look red and irritated after using it. But I was greatly surprised that it worked well with my skin and I experienced no bad reactions. I used the serum each night before bedtime and the texture was nice and smooth to use, it came out of the bottle easily and it quickly absorbed into my skin, I loved that it didn’t leave my skin sticky like some serum products do. When I woke the next morning my skin looked brighter and had a nice glow. It hydrated my skin well and made some of my wrinkles look less visible which was a great win for me. I will definitely buy this product again as it has helped make my skin look better and maybe a little bit younger too (fingers crossed). The packaging was the same standard you would expect from a serum product the old real stand out was the red bottle, which was a nice change to add to my bathroom bench for some colour. Add this product to your must buy list!!

Beautiful silky texture, though a slightly strange yellow hue, it sinks in and absorbs straight away. I used it overnight before my night moisturiser. My skin has never felt better, beautifully hydrated, plump, smooth, even textured and firmer. Plus it looked so radiant – with a dewy glow! Think this is going to become a staple.

I have oily skin which can be sensitive to harsh creams and serums which can cause flare ups and burning like areas. I found this one to be pretty mild on my skin. One drop was all i needed each use and it absorbed into the skin really well. Have noticed my skin is looking smoother.

Either my skin didn’t react well to it or I didn’t see much difference. But this! This one ticks all the boxes for me. My skin doesn’t get irritated when I apply this, and surely enough, it’s absorbed by my skin so well that I don’t have to worry about it wiping off. I haven’t been using this for long, but I can already see a difference which excites me about what results I’ll see the longer I use this. I recommend giving this a go if you want an anti-ageing product that actually does what it says on the box.

Having recently turned 30, anti ageing products containing retinol have become an essential part of my skin care routine. I used the serum every night for two weeks and applied it before my night cream. This serum applies beautifully and didn’t cause any irritation. I found within less than a week, my forehead lines were less noticeable and my skin looked plumper. I will certainly be purchasing this product in the near future. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have frown lines and “11” lines (between my eyebrows) that are quite deep as well as fine lines on my forehead. I also have some redness and acne scarring. I was very excited to have this opportunity to try the Retinol B3 Serum as it sounded perfect for me. Thank you very much to the Review Crew and La Roche-Posay for allowing me to try this product and share my experience. I was able to use this for just under 3 weeks, between receiving it and writing this review (the post seems to take even longer when it’s something I’m extra excited for,) so was able to see some benefits. I’m really looking forward to seeing what my face looks like after 4 and 8 weeks of use. The serum is a very pale yellow and has a lovely, non-overpowering scent that I quite enjoy. The texture is nice and creamy; not too thick that it takes forever to absorb, or too thin that it slides down the face and creates a mess. It is also non-sticky, which I love, and absorbs easily. The dropper makes it easy to use and holds enough to do the entire face. I don’t currently use any products with Retinol in them, so although I was unsure of how this would affect my skin I wasn’t worried as it was designed for sensitive skin. I really like how this is has immediate and slow released forms of Retinol, allowing it to work right away and also build up tolerance to the ingredient. I found it to be very gentle on my skin, with no irritation at all. I did have some slight peeling on my nose the day after I used it for the first time, but there was no redness or pain at all. The skin on my nose is usually flaky so I like that it exfoliated the skin that way and reduced the flakiness. I also really like that it contains Glycerin as my skin Is often dry, and I found it to moisturise my skin very well and keep it hydrated. I found I didn’t need to apply moisturiser as often throughout the day so it definitely makes a difference with my skin. I used this once a day in the evening after cleaning my face, and didn’t introduce any other new products since starting it to make sure the results were from this product. I had a bout of my monthly hormonal acne flare up around the time I started using it so it was hard to tell at the start of any changes, but I do believe my face cleared up quicker than normal and definitely looks smoother and more youthful than ever. My skin feels softer and my deep lines do appear slightly less prominent, though I don’t expect any drastic results until I use this for longer. I am extremely excited to see the changes to my face after I finish the bottle, as the change I’ve seen in less than 3 weeks is very impressive. I didn’t expect such results to be honest, from a product that’s sensitive skin friendly. The increased smoothness and softness of my skin alone is worth using this, for me. I can see why this brand is raved about and am eager to try more of their products.

I love that it contains slow release retinol as it makes me feel like it’s doing my skin a lot of good. The level of retinol in the product doesn’t feel too strong on the skin and my skin had no issues developing any tolerance to retinol as I do experience on occasion. So it seems appear to be great for first time retinol users. The only negative is that the instructions on the pack could be better. The instructions say to use in the evening on face and neck and avoid eye area that’s it. There is no specific instruction to follow with a moisturiser so it is a little bit ambiguous.

It’s smoother, brighter and I’ve noticed a difference in the appearance of freckles & spots being less prominent. My skin is much more even & I had no issues with this formula which goes on smoothly, never had any irritation or reaction which was amazing. Would definitely recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been testing out this new offering from La Roche-Posay for the last month or so and I can safely say that it is brilliant! I have had adverse reactions to retinols in the past, so I was hesitant to try this one. Thankfully, my skin has been loving it! It has a lovely lightweight texture ( it feels like a gel/serum) that applies easily and absorbs quickly. It has a pleasant scent which isn't overpowering, and is yellow in colour. I use serum a few nights per week and after it absorbs, I follow with a nice, rich night cream. The next morning, my skin is bright and looks lovely and fresh. As with all retinols, I make sure I am using plenty of SPF the next day. It is packaged in a glass bottle with a dropper dispenser, and I find that I only need a few drops for my face, neck and chest. Love this serum, and will repurchase and recommend to others.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing serum La Roche-Posay Retinol B3 Serum is an amazing new serum that you must try! It will be a great investment and worth every dollar spent! It's so easy and quick to use. A light, rapidly absorbed serum, simply apply in the evening, after cleansing and before your night cream. You don't need to use a lot either. Use only at night time, and you can apply it to your neck too. It contains Retinol which really works on the fine lines and wrinkles. It also contains vitamin B3 which helps hydrate and keep the skin soft, smooth and moisturised. It's super great for sensitive skin and I experienced no redness or irritations. My fine lines and deep wrinkles are looking better after a few weeks of nightly use. I will definitely continue to use this fabulous serum.

It says on the box that Retinol can react with the air, turning it yellow - mine was yellow the second it came out of the bottle but that didn't concern me. It's very easy to use and the tiniest amount was enough to cover my whole face. I did have to switch nighttime moisturisers though as I found out mine had a little Retinol in it and the recommendation is that you shouldn't use other Retinol products with this serum. I maybe felt a slight tingly feeling the first time I used this, but it was only the once, and it was so mild. I noticed over time after using this serum (and I only used it at nighttime, as recommended) my skin tone was very even and wrinkles appeared at a minimum. My skin looks really healthy and bright (despite a few late nights, diet not perfect, etc). I'm very happy with this product.

My skin is not sensitive but it usually reacts to anything with retinol in it BUT this product is the exception. My skin didn’t react, it felt soft and smooth and better yet, I could actually see results while using the serum! I highly recommend this product to anyone and everyone!

I started using this serum every second day and haven't noticed any irritation which has been amazing! It spreads very easily and sinks into the almost immediately without feeling heavy. I also had no trouble incorporating this into my current skin care routine, it layered well with other products and I didn't experience any pilling. My skin texture has definitely improved and looks smoother and brighter!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this product after I take off my make up before bed and In the morning for about four weeks. I love this product. It leaves your skin feeling very soft, and smooth. You're left feeling glowy, you feel great, and your skin just looks refreshed. It does however leave an sticky feeling on your face but that feeling doesn't last long so it didn't really bother me that much but that is a slight disadvantage to using the product. I do see a difference in my skin it just looks tighter and feels a lot more moisturized and I am someone that does have fairly dry skin so I find this product really worked! I would recommend this!

I love it,it’s light serum not to thick or to runny, it melts into the skin very nice no sticky or wet feeling left on your face, over the last 2 weeks my skin texture has soften all over,pores have seem to be less visible in some areas. Over all a great product would highly recommend, it would be suitable for dry and oilly skin type!!

My skins texture improved so much after 2 weeks that I found myself wearing less make up than usual. My skin is glowing. The serum is easily absorbed and easily fits in with my night time routine. This product actually does what it says it does! I’ve always been a fan of the brand but this product just makes me love the brand more!

I suffer from rosacea and its calming and absolutely gorgeous on. I will be using this continuously in the future. Its dulled my redness and my lines seem smoother. 10 out of 10!

I use every night after cleansing and follow with my night cream. As an avid user of retinol already I was excited to see how this one would perform as I am new to la Roche-posay products (although the brand has been on my radar for a while). The serum is a beautiful, light consistency that absorbs well into the skin and is easily layered as part of my skincare routine. I wasn’t expecting huge results in such a short time, especially since I already use retinol but i was pleasantly surprised to see my skin was beautifully hydrated and that each morning my skin looked refreshed and both my crows feet and forehead lines were less pronounced. Very impressed so far, such a gentle retinol yet such great results. Excited to see how my skin reacts with continued use. Definitely worth the price and retinol is a product all those over 30 should have in their routine! *please wear spf during the day, everyday! Otherwise anything else you do for your skin is a waste of time!

Not harsh at all [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am seriously impressed by this product and did not expect my skin to improve so much in a short space of time. I have tried retinol before, but this retinol was next level. I think it is because it is a gradual release product. Not as harsh as others. I applied the product each night after cleansing for a two week period. I didn't peel or get irritated or red. I found the product improved the overall texture and look of my skin and helped improve the brilliancy of my complexion. I would definitely recommend this product, especially to people who have pigmentation or just need a bit of a boost. I am 40 and starting to get a few lines around my eyes and frown lines. I feel like this product helped to soften them.

I'm 33 year old with 3 kids 2 jobs do my life is hectic an so skincare is not on the top of my list. I was starting to notice just how full my face looked, wrinkles were deeper, skin was dry and lifeless.. after a week of using this product my skin actually glows. It's bright an hydrated an wrinkles are way less prominent. This will now be apart of my everyday skincare regime. Goes on nice n think but dries really quick without any residue. Out it in before bed and wake up with smoother softer skin. I'm in love!!!!
