Directions

Apply to clean skin after cleansing, fill dropper with serum and apply 3-4 drops in the evening on face and neck. Always use in conjunction with a moisturiser and daily sunscreen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who suffers from quite sensitive skin I have only tried Retinol once and it didnt end well. I have used a number of other La Roche - Posay skincare products and found them gentle and soothing so I was really excited to give the Retinol B3 Serum a go. It comes in a small red/pinky glass bottle with a dropper that can be used in place of the lid for easy application. The serum is a milky serum that glides onto the skin and absorbs faster than any product I have ever used!. It has a very light fragrance that is lovely. After weeks of use I found my skin looked brighter and definitely felt fresher and more hydrated.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would consider myself a pretty seasoned retinol user, but I definitely still struggle with the side effects that Vitamin A use can bring- dryness, irritation and sensitivity, namely. This retinol serum has changed the game for me! It’s everything that so many other retinol products aren’t- hydrating, non-sensitising and easy to regularly incorporate into your routine without experiencing negative side effects. While using Vitamin A derivatives take some time to show anti-aging benefits on the skin (it’s a marathon, not a sprint), I’ve definitely noticed less congestion and a more even tone and texture to my skin since using this product. This retinol would be absolutely ideal for those new to retinol or anyone with sensitive or dry skin.

I have had a love/hate relationship with retinols in the past – usually liking the results but having sensitive skin, I often get so dry after using them a few times and can't continue. This one however, I didn't have any bad reactions. The product is is a silky, serum consistency and goes on smooth and easily, soaking in fast. I put this under my moisturiser & oil for a couple of weeks and started seeing obvious changes in the appearance of my skin after 7-10 days of use. The main change I saw was a smoother, brighter overall look. I'm 30 and have a little sun damage and a few areas where wrinkles are becoming more obvious. I think the retinol/B3 combo really helped with blurring these and making my skin look and feel a lot glowier, whilst not drying me out. Really happy with this and would recommend to those with sensitive skin who've tried more harsh retinols and find them too drying.

I've tried plenty of serums but I love love love this. I've been using it in the morning and from the first application it made my skin feel so smooth and firm. I also noticed a reduction in the prominence of my wrinkle lines. I have been using this with my estee lauder products and I'd say it's just as good as the serum i use at night and half the price tag. I will 100% continue using this product and try some other products from this brand too.

Unlike other retinols I have used previously this was not drying at all, despite me having pre-existing dry skin. I used this product two nights per week, which is ideal for me, and will be soon working up to 3 nights per week. Others may wish to use it nightly, but I like to use my rich hydrating products in between. There is no offensive smell and I have no real complaints about this product at all. La Roch Posay is such a beautiful skincare line for those with sensitive skin, and I truly believe this retinol product would suit any skin type. 5 stars, go and treat yourself to a bottle today!

The serum comes in 30ml red glass bottle with a dropper to dispense the product. It has a lightweight, hydrating consistency that absorbs really well, leaving no residue. There is a mild, pleasant scent, and as someone with sensitive skin I was so pleased that I didn't get a reaction. The serum leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth and hydrated. I have been using it daily for about a month and have noticed that my skin has a smooth, soft texture and is gaining a healthier glow. My favourite thing about this serum is light consistency that doesn't feel sticky or heavy, and works beautifully under other skincare and makeup. This is a great, concentrated serum that hydrates and gently exfoliates and smooths the skin. Plus it's also suitable for sensitive skin types too, which is a bonus.

I noticed skin tone even out, fine lines reduce and in general face look brighter and plumper. Would definetlt recommend. Also if you have severely dry skin you will need to pair this with a good moisturizer, i found some nights when my skin was dry it stung a little but it didnt last once i finished my routine.

However, once trying La Roche-Posay Retinol B3 Serum, I was over the moon to have a retinol product that doesn’t burn on application nor leave dryness afterwards. I have noticed reduced pigmentation and fine lines and an overall glow after using this product for a short amount of time. The product absorbs well into the skin and doesn’t leave you feeling greasy. It has a milky consistency and my skin feels hydrated upon application. I would suggest using it every 2 or 3 nights, just to let the skin get used to the product. This is an effective, calm and gentle retinol product that will suit anyone skin type but especially those with sensitive skin.

My skin felt plumb and super hydrated after just one nights use! The serum was yellow, but it apparently has no affect on its potency. The stopper works well, but as the serum is quite thick it can take a little bit of encouragement to get it out! It is very potent, so you need to ensure to keep it away from your eyes. I’ve been using it consistently for over a week and my skin looks so much fresher.

I’ve had a very difficult relationship with every other retinol product - buffering, alternate nights, intense hydrating treatments to combat redness, dryness and irritation. I’ve had to break up with so many retinol products! This is the first (the only!) retinol I could use from day one without irritation. I’ve had zero peeling, which is amazing! I started using this serum when I had a few spots of hormonal acne, which this dramatically decreased the size and redness of in quick time! I can’t think of a single negative for this serum. It is perfect for me in every way. Two drops before bedtime is all I need is all I need to wake up to clear, beautiful skin.

I've been using retinol on and off for years now and this has provided me with the most noticeable results. Only after one week of use, my skin is GLOWING. I think the combo of retinol and B2 is really effective. The serum is milky but with a very smooth consistency. Applied on the skin, it instantly makes my skin feel very hydrated and comfortable. It absorbs immediately and does not leave any sticky or heavy residue. Goes well underneath my night moisturiser. Every morning since using this, my skin looks great and it's really uncovered glowing skin underneath. Packaging is nice and streamlined. Dropper works well and I really love the subtle berry scent. Since I've been using retinol for a while, I did not experience any sensitivity, just a slight tingle the first couple of nights. If you're wanting to try retinol for the first time, or your current retinol serum is just not doing it for you, I would hands down reccomend trying this.

You need this serum. Seriously. It's not like anything else I've tried before. We are both so impressed and have both seen amazing results. It smells nice. It's silky and smooth and you don't need to apply much. Within 3 days we both saw a difference in each other and ourselves. Like you know the ads on TV with the before and after. We should of done that. I have one wrinkle line on my forehead between my eyebrows - my cranky line - it's gone. My mother in law, she's had a hard life and had quit smoking and you can't see those smoking lines on the top lip anymore, nor the lines around her eyes. We both used it on our hands and feet to get rid of that aged look and wow! It seriously works. I recommend this to anyone and everyone.

I noticed a difference within the first few weeks. But having been using it for close to a year now, I can certainly see a massive improvement in skin texture and quality of my fine lines. I usually follow it as up with a face oil.
