Retinol B3 Serum 30mL is an anti-ageing serum formulated with Vitamin B3 and Pure Retinol to resurface and renew the look of fine lines, deep wrinkles and dark spots. Directions

Apply to clean skin after cleansing, fill dropper with serum and apply 3-4 drops in the evening on face and neck. Always use in conjunction with a moisturiser and daily sunscreen.

This is ok, it feels nice on, I was able to use it daily without any reactions. Its a decent retinol but just not quite up to the good stuff (retin-a, tretinoin) in terms of effectivity and results. Great starter though for those branching into restorative skincare but if you have scarring / wrinkles you really want to deal with you are better off booking an appt with a derm.

I have only been using it for a few weeks, so can't comment on the ability to reduce fine line and wrinkles, however I'm really liking it so far so will definitely continue using. Highly recommend for those wanting to try a retinol serum for the first time.

It's hard to provide a full review at this stage, as retinol takes some time to work. This was a nice product to use though - the serum is a pleasant consistency and applies well, and most importantly it was not at all irritating, which is not always the case for retinol.

Let’s just say, this year has increase fine lines and early signs of ageing from the get go. Enter ‘wrinkle killer’ in a bottle! This product not only feels nice but it is really pleasant to use and I found that I had no reactions or tingling from using it. It is a great size and super easy to fit into my daily routine. It didn’t dry out my skin or cause it to flake which is a win win. I would definitely recommend this product and buy it again. I’m interested in seeing the long term results as short term have been great.

Once again, La Roche-Posay have knocked it out of the park and I needn’t have worried about my delicate dermis. This serum smoothed on easily and was quick to absorb. There is no overpowering scent, although the long dropper made me wonder if I was using too much product. My skin did appear smoother, however I think prolonged use would be the test of the effectiveness of reduction of fine lines (I used for a few weeks).

What was even better was that this serum seemed to avoid the dreaded retinol purge that comes with higher strength products. I had no dryness or flaking, only lovely smooth, hydrated and plumper skin. My skin tone was more even, and had a nice healthy glow about it. Pores were minimised, and my fine lines seemed a little "finer". Really great "allround" retinol product, especially when I added my night time La Roche-Posay Teloriane moisturiser and Pigmentclar Eyes. Highly recommended to anyone wanting to try out retinols for sensitive / sensitised skin.

Retinol seems to dry out my skin usually, but this serum appears to do the opposite. I use it at night time before my regular moisturiser, it soaks right in. In the morning my skin feels plump, brighter and hydrated. Have not really noticed a difference to my fine lines, but it is only early days yet.

It is quite a mild retinol which is great as I have sensitive skin that can sometimes react to harsh products or ingredients. This would be great for anyone in their early 30s who is trying to prevent ageing or wants to get rid of fine lines and/or wrinkles. I use it every other night and it slots into my skin routine perfectly and works seamlessly with my other products!

I put this product to the test during a period of time away from my regular tretinoin (a prescription retinoic acid) which was causing immense peeling. I found this LRP serum to be a nice entry level retinol, and I naturally ensured I paired this product with Vitamin C & SPF in the mornings. I noticed my skin felt smooth and I could see this product making an improvement in my skin over time.

The packaging is petite and easy to use, with minimal smell. I liked the consistency of the liquid and found that it spread really nicely on my face, only needing a little bit to cover my face. I found that the product absorbed quickly and didn’t feel heavy on my skin. I used the retinol at night as part of my normal routine. I’m new to using retinol and have sensitive skin, so was intrigued to see how my skin would react. I found that I got a slight tingle the first couple of times I used it but no redness or irritation. After using for a few weeks, my skin looks brighter and feels hydrated. I can definitely stay to see an improvement in my skins complexion, and can’t wait to see further results through continued use.

I have been using this for 4 weeks, and I have found it to be able to be used twice per day and not cause any dryness. As a regular retinol and B3 user through other products, I swapped this product in and I am really liking it so far. Even though, I can't really see any change in my skin in comparison to before starting to use this product, it is convenient to have both products in one and it has been the only serum I have been using day and night. It has not caused any breakouts or sentitivity which is a godsent! I generally prefer fragrance free products but the scent of this serum is really light and non irrtating. I also really love the texture, it absorbs well and doesn't leave the skin tacky or sticky. I think it's a good serum as an entry level to retinol and an easy one for daily use.

It absorbs into the skin surprisingly quickly and doesn't leave a residue like some of the retinol's I've tried. The added Vitamin B3 has been beneficial in keeping my acne at bay as well. I would recommend this to people who are maybe wary of Retinol but are still wanting to try it for themselves. One thing with this product. Use it only at night and remember to wear sunscreen during the day!

Having used prescription retinol for almost a year now I was pleasantly surprised with how effective this product was for an over the counter formulation. La Roche-Posay have done a great job formulating this product, its light and spreads easily, it sinks in quickly and is non-drying. If you are new to retinol start slow, maybe a few times a week and build up to what your skin can tolerate. Make sure you are wearing high protection SPF every day and back off any other actives while you skin aclimates to retinol. If you are sensitive layer this retinol over a hydrating serum to buffer. Alone this product was hydrating enough for me due to the inclusion of B3 and glycerin. Overall I really enjoyed this product and would recommend it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Resurfaces the skin [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to receive The Retinol B3 serum by La Roche-Posay to trial as I have used other retinol serums in the past and have really enjoyed the results. This serum contains both pure retinol and gradual release retinol as well as B3 and works to renew and resurface the skin and reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles. It is also paraben free, which is something I look for in my skincare products. The serum is a light, runny consistency and is quickly and easily absorbed into my skin. It does have a slight scent, which I find pleasant. As with any retinol products, it is very important to use a good moisturiser at night as it can be drying on the skin and to use a good SPF during daytime as it can make skin more sensitive to the sun. I have been using it at night only and tend to use 1-2 drops to cover my entire face. I have found that the texture of my skin has been improving since I started to use this serum - my skin is softer and more even. I am also noticing that fine lines on my face are slowly smoothing out and I think with repeated use overtime they will smooth out even more. I definitely plan to continue to use this serum!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a regular user of The Ordinary's Granactive Retinol 5% in Squalane and this is a big step up and upgrade! I love that this product leaves my skin feeling hydrated and bouncy, and its also gentle enough on my sensitive skin. I find that my previous product left a sticky residue on my face after absorption but I am very happy with the application of La Roche-Posay and its results after 2 weeks has also been very impressive. Very happy and would recommend! The red bottle is a bit off putting but I assume its to make the product stand out and also to product the product in side the bottle from the sun.

I used it every night before I put on my night cream and woke up to fresh, smooth looking skin. The texture was great and it absorbed easily. I did only use 2 drops though, not the 3-4 recommended. My skin did appear brighter the next morning after using it also. I am almost 40 and although still there, my wrinkles are definatley less visible. I would highly recommend this product and would not hesitate to purchase again.
