Retinol B3 Serum 30mL is an anti-ageing serum formulated with Vitamin B3 and Pure Retinol to resurface and renew the look of fine lines, deep wrinkles and dark spots. Designed for sensitive skin without compromising on efficacy, the serum targets fine lines and wrinkles while improving the appearance of uneven skin texture and tone for an even complexion. This serum is formulated with Vitamin B3 to soothe and keep skin soft, plump and supple by improving the skin's ability to retain moisture. It helps restore the skin's precious moisture barrier, to allow for improved hydration. Hydrating fluid, silky, non-sticky finish for rapid absorption that can be followed with face moisturiser. Key Ingredients: RETINOL [PURE + GRADUAL RETINOL]: Retinol for face is the gold-standard dermatological molecule to resurface skin and target deep wrinkles. Directions

Apply to clean skin after cleansing, fill dropper with serum and apply 3-4 drops in the evening on face and neck. Always use in conjunction with a moisturiser and daily sunscreen.

I’ve had great success with many of their products and this serum was no different. A great start to the world of retinoids, it is gentle whilst being effective. It does not leave my skin flaky and I have noticed a change in the overall tone and softness of my skin.

It's helped make my skin smooth and soft. I also found it's very gentle on the skin compared to other retinol products I've tried. It also smells really nice and easy to apply with the dropper and it's not too watery.

However i already use the La Roche-Posay cleanser so i thought why not try it! i am in love, i have been using it for 4 weeks now, at night with after my hyaluronic acid and before my retinol cream. my skin texture has cleared up so much and i have not had one breakout since using it. I am so impressed and would highly recommend to incorporate it into your routine!

I find that most retinol products can be harsh on the skin but this product was gentle and left my skin with a lovely glow. The thickens is perfect and the serum is quickly absorbed into the skin. I can see a difference in my skin already and definitely continue to use once this bottle is empty.

I applied this serum in the PM and it absorbed very well over my toner. I think this would be a good beginners retinol if you want to try and incorporate some retinol into your routine, this is quite a gentle product. I didnt experience any irritations or skin peeling. If you are a seasoned user you might want something a bit more heavy duty.

It can really irritate the skin but the retinol B3 serum by La Roche Posay does a really great job of using the same active ingredient without it irritating the skin and causing sensitivities. It comes in a glass bottle with a dropper and the serum is a milky fluid that you apply over your face. I used this at night before bed and the serum was lightweight and would absorb easily. It did leave a bit of residue on my skin but it wasn't that big of an issue. The product also contains niacinamide which helps to brighten your skin. After using it I noticed that my skin started to flake but in a good way. My skin never felt tight, dry or uncomfortable. The serum also helped to brighten my skin and lessen the appearance of my pigmentation. This is a great serum to use if you are wanting to try a retinol based product for the first time or you have sensitive skin and want something a bit more gentle.

I have very sensitive skin and this is a very gentle formula with a slight scent- but nothing too overpowering. I apply twice a week followed by a basic cerave moisturizer. This leave my skin super soft and in the morning, my face looks fresh and brighter. I have had no breakouts since using this product. Too early to say if it’s helping with the fine lines but loving the glow.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mixed results [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to try the Retinol B3 serum from La Roche Posay as part of the Review Crew. Unfortunately I had mixed results. I have typically normal to dry skin, more dry in winter and have used other retinols previously. I used this product for 3-4 weeks now and experienced a mild reaction with dry patches around the jaw. I haven't had any other reactions to other retinols I've used. I used this with alternating B3 serum in the evenings after cleansing, followed by moisturiser. Apart from the dry patches, it was a very lightweight milky serum that absorbed very easily into the skin and didn't leave a tacky residue which I liked. The serum is quite a bright yellow. The box does indicate that retinol can react when in contact with the air causing it to turn yellow but claims to be still effective. As I do have dry skin, I did like the combination of B3 and glycerin to provide hydration. Retinol is a tricky active so it may not suit everyone.

The trial was too short to notice and massive changes but I noticed an immediate difference in the appearance of my pores. The dropper didn’t seem to efficiently release product but would definitely recommend !!

I think it was a bit gentle for me but would be good for a first timer. The smell was soft but does get a bit messy around the lid. I also prefer my retinal in a sealed, airtight container. This is a nice product but there are others I prefer.

This serum actually caused a lot of redness and made my skin sting, so I tried using it after every few days. The product leaves my skin looking fresh and “plump” without drying it out if I spread apart my uses. Haven't noticed any reduction in my wrinkles though.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great product but why so much fragrance? Love the idea of this product and so far so good but I’m not sure why it needs such strong and artificial smelling fragrance? (Kind of smells like men’s aftershave). I read about how La Roche Posay is really carefully tested/curated etc. but the fragrance just seems like a completely non essential thing to put in this product- Particularly because retinol can be a bit irritating at times and I don’t want to throw fragrance into the mix. Luckily the smell seems to go away quite quickly, but it’s definitely strong at first.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad reaction I had high expections for this product, but unfortunately it wasn't for me. After applying the product, my skin would go red and flakey. I tried using it a few different ways (by itself, mixed with moisturiser, over moisturiser etc), but it still would give me a bad reaction. Also, the bottle is not well designed and the product leaks.
