DermaVeen® is not only free from common irritants, it is formulated with 100% natural oatmeal from the Avena Sativa plant including Colloidal Oatmeal. Offering a host of dermatological benefits, Colloidal Oatmeal is scientifically proven to help:

Avena Sativa (Oatmeal and Colloidal Oatmeal) kernel flour.

Directions

Sprinkle 4-5 scoops into a running bath. Stir if necessary to disperse and bathe for 15-20 mins. For protective and deep moisturisation, follow with your preferred DermaVeen body moisturiser. Children and Infants: Add 2-3 scoops (for a baby size bath). Use as directed above.

The Calmexa Bath Soak does the rest. I’m yet to come across any issues when using this soak for myself or my baby. I have sensitive skin so I tested on myself first before using for my baby and was pleased with the results. I definitely will incorporate this soak into my baby's weekly bath routine.

I love that while he’s splashing around this is helping to lock in moisture, it is relieving dry skin and if he has any irritation it’s helping to calm it. It’s a nice gentle formula with oatmeal and it makes me happy knowing that it’s also suitable for sensitive skin.

It's so easy to use and dissolve in warm bath water and seemed to soften his skin and keep dryness under control. I will definitely be repurchasing this product in future.

My daughter 5 and son 1 suffer from dry and itchy skin, i have tried a couple different ways to help soothe it but nothing has kept it gone long until now. I’ve been soaking my children with Dermaveens Calmexa bath soak for a few days now and I can’t believe the results already. Their skin is nowhere near as dry anymore, much less red and they rarely itch at it anymore. Whenever my daughter gets into the bath with this bath soak she tells me it’s her magic bath that makes her itching go away. It doesn’t have too much of a sent to it, besides a slight oat scent and it dissolves very well in the water and doesn’t leave it feeling grainy. You only need to add a couple of scoops, but I find that it’s enough and is very effective. I highly recommend.

I add the recommended amount to their bath and followed the instructions to have them soak in it for 15-20 minutes.I like that there's no strong smell, and it's not drying at all. Their skin comes out feeling supple, but have noticed it seems to have more of an effect on the child with milder eczema-prone skin than the more severe one.It's also well-priced and feel I'll get many uses out of the 200g bag. Happy to buy again and use more long term to see how well it goes on my kids' skin!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as part of a Trial Team and I was really excited to try it as I have very sensitive and dry skin which often gets itchy. The eczema runs in my family so when I got this in the mail my sisters were also really keen to try this.The packaging is nothing fancy and I found the resealable bag wasn't that good which isn't a big issue. I used this twice a week for a few weeks and noticed that it really helped my skin stay hydrated and moisturised throughout the week without needing to moisturise. My mum and sisters also tried this and said they felt it worked and their skin was less scaly and itchy. We used 4 scoops in each bath, The bathing experience was relaxing, there was no scent and the water turned milky. I felt my skin was instantly hydrated after the bath and I didn't need to put on any creams afterwards. I love how good it worked! I will definitely be recommending this to anyone with dry and sensitive skin and I will definitely buy this product again!

I have sensitive skin which is prone to eczema and love oat based products. I in fact regularly use dermaveen on myself and my children and was so excited to try this product which I had been eyeing. First of all, the packaging was interesting. It wasn't terrible as for a fine powder I can't think of a better solution (maybe a box?). It is inheritly messy working with power so I think it was a fair choice and I like that it's resealable. It looks sleek and matches with the rest of the line. I also really like the ratios listed on the packet and the instructions on how much to add to a baby bath etc - that is really helpful. The product itself has a pleasant oaty scent and is a fine powder that dissolves easily. Baths were pleasant and cooling and my skin felt hydrated and soft afterwards. One of my sons has bad eczema that constantly needs to be managed and I used this instead of his regular bath oil/parrafin soak. His eczema didn't miraculously dissapear (it never does) but it definitely didn't get worse and his skin was soft and hydrated. I also noticed that after his baths he didn't complain about feeling "itchy" as much. I will definitely repurchase this and feel it is a lovely solution for the whole family. I have a new baby due soon and plan to use this in their baths from the start !!! Definitely serves its purpose, a great product.

The product comes in a plastic pouch and has a good texture. A small amount of this product in the bath does wonders to dry flaky skin. I used it on myself and my newborn and both our skins have never felt more hydrated and supple. I have used it only once and can already feel the difference. Can’t wait to use it again! I will surely recommend this product to everyone who has dry skin with eczema.

My daughter had a skin reaction to sunscreen and we used this in her bath which helped settle down her skin overnight. I switched to this same brand for sunscreen and haven’t looked back. I am one of those people. I am one of those people that spend so much time and effort finding a moisturiser that will keep my skin from feeling and looking dry, flaking, itchy and uncomfortable. Before this product, I had never used a bath soak but this was super easy to use. I followed the instructions on the packet and I put in two spoons. The spoon is provided in the product. It is resealable so it is easy to seal up and keep using it for next time. Although when I first cut it open with the scissors, a lot of the product fell out so look out for that but the mess was easy to clean up. It makes my skin feel nourished and it is gentle on my skin. It does not at all feel harsh or abrasive and I truly believe the ingredients made my skin so much calmer and less itchy. This product is also safe for children as well and my children have my itchy and dry skin. It is great for the entire family and it is suitable for their use as well.

Appreciate that 1 entire packet per use *isn't* applicable with calmexa, like alot of current bath products... The oat smell was present, but not overpowering- just enough to be pleasant. I was surprised to feel my skin becoming moisturised just by stirring powder through bath! Found it a bit odd to sit in a 'murky' bath, but visible evidence of the dense product in the water was somewhat reassuring. Could also feel it on my skin as I sat and relaxed, without a waxy or slimy coating. Skin felt so lovely, soft and smooth straight away when doing myself off. Bit of residue to rinse out of the bath after draining water, but was easy to remove, no scrubbing, just a splash of water over it. Overall, very impressed!

On my body I have eczema in some areas and as much as I love a bath I can’t use bath bombs as they are far more irritating than I would like. I loved this products scent, if you can even call it that. I use dermaveen body wash and lotion so was excited to trial this, I have an expectation as to how I like my skin to feel after using their products. I followed the instructions on the bag, and had a lovely soothing bath. I just wish the bag was a little bigger… this will only last me 2-3 baths max. My skin felt super smooth and not irritated; even with the hot water in the bath.

I come from a family of dry skin sufferers, and we have enough lotion between us all to drown a boat. This winter has been especially harsh on our skin, and we're all sharing the pain. The size of this packet is fantastic, and it comes with a little scoop. The packet states to use 4-5 scoops, and to soak in the bath for 15-20 minutes. Which for me is ideal because I love the idea of a bath, and it feels great, but I get mighty bored after a while. I envy those with a tv in their bathroom. The bath smelt like a bowl of porridge, but it just made me feel delicious. Maybe a splash of milk and honey would create the ultimate snack soak. After the bath, my skin felt soft, hydrated without feeling greasy, and without pain from dry skin! I had family members try this bath soak as well, and they were all equally impressed. Looks like we can finally replace our super slippery oil bath with a much easier (and to be honest, safer) option for the whole family!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Indulgence for Sensitive Skin [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have loved every DermaVeen product I have purchased or trialed, therefore it will come as no surprise that I love the DermaVeen Calmexa Bath Soak. DermaVeen just seem to know sensitive skin.  This bath soak is a lovely natural formula, with a clean scent that doesn't irritate my skin or overpower the bath. After soaking in it for far too long I get out and my skin feels moisturised, hydrated and comfortable. So much so that I think I could skip using a moisturising lotion that day.  The small patches of eczema that usually flare up behind my knees or in the crook of my elbows are soothed. The bath soak almost gets ahead of the issue, giving my skin a natural barrier to all the chemicals and pollutants that irritate my sensitive skin.  I would prefer the Calmexa Bath Soak  came in a larger container, something that would look nice on my bath tray but given the amazing price I understand this is difficult. When I need to buy a new pouch, I may be a couple and put it in a lovely glass jar, with a little scoop, so it looks nice on display.
