Directions

Sprinkle 4-5 scoops into a running bath. Stir if necessary to disperse and bathe for 15-20 mins. For protective and deep moisturisation, follow with your preferred DermaVeen body moisturiser. Children and Infants: Add 2-3 scoops (for a baby size bath). Use as directed above.

I suffer with sensitive skin that has only gotten worse as I’ve gotten older. I’ve not been able to find an in bath product that has helped with my extremely dry legs and combat the eczema until thankfully this came along. It is so easy to dilute in your bath tub and I enjoyed the whole process of immersing myself in it! It made my skin feel so soft and didn’t leave a sticky residue at all! It is also great relief from itchy skin and I felt like it left a protective barrier of moisture on me - so skin flare ups seem to be occurring less now! The instructions make it easy to use and it comes in a super convenient satchel which I thought made it so easy to use. Love this product!! Will continue to use for the rest of my life as I do get bouts of eczema due to stress!

Please note that this product is made in Australia, it’s not test on animals and is vegan friendly, YAY! I have dry and sensitive skin, which can itch depending on the season or environment that I find myself in. Currently, my biggest skin concern is the dryness and itchy skin. The bath soak plastic packaging is easy to open and close, and it is supplied with its own scoop. I used 5 scoops of the formula into a warm, running bath to help dissolve the powder. The formula is 100% natural – it is a very fine powder that smells faintly like oats but no other perfumes. The bath water turns milky, it is free from soap and all other nasty ingredients. I lingered in the bath soak for about 20mins, and I used a moisturiser after the bath once I was dried. My product calmed my skin, and it relieved the itch. For several days after the bath, my skin felt smooth and hydrated. I impressed with this product, but unfortunately, I don’t take baths on a regular basis, I wish would have more “me” time to do this, so it’s something I need to schedule in. I have recommended this product to my family, and I plan on buying some for them to try.

Whilst I have tried a few bath soaks before, I haven’t tried one that soothes and hydrates sensitive skin. I was pleasantly surprised by this product and will continue using. Firstly, I liked that the product was natural, made in Australia and not tested in animals.. all a big tick. The scent is not overpowering or a synthetic fragrance smell, which I like. The product is easy to use and dissolves quickly in a warm bath..best of all it’s super relaxing! I have used it a few times now and definitely feel like my skin feels smoother and more moisturised! I really liked this product and think it’s a bit of gem for those with sensitive/itchy skin that also need some relaxation at the need of the day!

Perfect for sensitive skin [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For reference, I have pretty dry and sensitive skin and I've had reactions to other items in the past if they are overly scented/have too many oils in them etc...In comes Dermaveen for the win, it soothed my skin and left it feeling nourished and also less dry. I have been routinely using it every weekend when I do my pamper session and I have found that my skin is less dry than when I started using it. Overall, super pleased with the product and I will definitely be repurchasing.

It is a good idea to ensure it eliminates any moisture from getting into the pouch. Inside the pouch is a little spoon, you may have to dig around a little. The spoon allows you to easily measure out the soak powder. The powder mixture dissolves in the warm water quite swiftly. It has a subtle oat like scent. The ingredients are all quite gentle. I am allergic to anything with alcohol in it and have to be very careful with products. I did not experience any skin irritation with this bath soak, which means I will be more incline to purchase it again in future. It left my skin feeling nourished and hydrated. My skin was certainly soft and yet just a tad wrinkly, but that certainly has something to do with sitting in the tub too long. Certainly a calming product which provided a comfortable soak.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve tried so many products over the years to calm my skin that breaks out with eczema, usually without much relief, or often making it worse. Dry skin that is itchy, then opening to sores, is very hard to deal with and very embarrassing. You reach a pin where you will try anything to get some relief. The thought of a bath soak, which I love, and being able yo treat my skin at the same time seemed too good to be true, but definitely worth a try. Dermaveen calmexa bath soak is designed for extra dry, itchy and cream prone skin. The dermalogica benefits of the product are relieves I dry, itchy skin-that’s a tick from me, calms irritation-another tick from me, and locks in moisture-well that’s a huge bonus. This wonderful product is a bath soak, so easy to use, you just add 4-5 scoops-(scoop is included in the packet, to a running bath snd then just lay back and relax and let it do it’s thing. Sheer relief. The smell is similar to flour but when your skin is going crazy, the last thing you need is perfume or fragrances right. So natural is much better. The only ingredient is oatmeal and colloidal oatmeal, know for its softening snd soothing properties, it locks moisture back into your dermal barrier-your skins protective barrier. I love the foil packet which is resealable and I found that I was able to get 6 baths out of 1 packet. Which works out to be good value, especially for the amount of relief you feel afterwards. I usually soaked for around 15-20 minutes, which is the recommended soak time on the instructions. I loved this product so much that I have purchased 4 more packets to keep in hand for regular use.

I often avoid taking baths, as bath bombs and soaks irritate my dry and eczema prone skin. I jumped straight in (literally!!) with this product as it is a trusted brand. My skin felt calm, moisturises and my body felt relaxed and non irritated. I would definitely love to dry during a flare up to see how it calms it. Love this so much. I have also tried with my young sensitive skinned kids and I will definitely be purchasing again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This DermaVeen Bath Soak is a calming bath soak which works so well for sensitive and dry skin like mine. It is has a 100% natural formulation of colloidal oatmeal and oat flour, target at soothing and restoring moisture to dry, itchy or irritated skin. This soak really works for me. I have naturally dry and sensitive skin. In summer, I usually get hay fever allergies including itchy skin. I've used this 1-2 nights a week and it has worked so well. Recently, I came home from a picnic and my skin was getting very itchy and irritated. I ran a bath using the Dermaveen bath soak and felt the instant relief. I was able to sleep that night without scratching. I have also noticed my skin is not as dry! The scent is not strong, you can smell the oat but it does not bother me at all. This is a product that I didn't know I needed but is a real delight. It is great value and I will be repurchasing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks Dermaveen and Beautyheaven for allowing me the opportunity to participate in this trial. I suffer from pretty severe xerosis and mild eczema and up until now, I hadn't found a bath product that offered effective and lasting relief; that changed with the Calmexa Bath Soak. I not only added some to a lukewarm bath but I also added some to a small fabric draw string bag and used it as a washcloth of sorts. The product dispersed in the bath easily and I was pleased to note that it's unscented dave for the pleasant and naturally occurring smell of oats. My skin felt soothed after soaking in the Calmexa bath and I followed up immediately with a moisturiser to lock in all the benefits of the bath soak. I love this so much that I will be using it for my daughter who has eczema patches on her inner elbows and backs of knees. If you don't have a non-slip mat in your bath (who would?), just be extra cautious when getting out of the bath as I find the colloidal oats and oat flour can leave the bath a little slippery. I would love to see this product released in different packaging as I can't easily open ziplocks due to a physical impairment- a shaker container would be wonderful. I will happily purchase the Calmexa Bath Soak again and pair it with other appropriate Dermaveen products.

I have loved being a part of this trial and it was great timing for me as I’ve been having eczema and it sucks! I found this product very soothing and relieved a lot of the pain and soreness I was experiencing as a result of inadvertent scratching, or from my skin just being angry with me. I had deeply relaxing baths using the calmexa bath soak. My skin felt refreshed and moisturised as a result of using it. I’ve heard wonderful things about colloidal oatmeal and I wasn’t disappointed! I also used a pinch of this soak with water as a face mask as my poor skin has been really dry and irritated lately, and it was really soothing. After using this product I followed with a hypoallergenic moisturiser as instructed, to seal in the goodness. I would recommend this to anyone experiencing eczema, psoriasis, dry or itchy skin or anyone who thinks their skin is unhappy and feels like it might need a bit of pampering.

Colloidal oatmeal is one of my favourite skincare ingredients which I like to see in my bodycare products, so I was very excited to be a part of this DermaVeen Calmexa Bath Soak trial team. I have tried a few DermaVeen products in the past and know this brand features collodial oatmeal in a range of its products designed specifically for those with sensitive, dry and itchy skin. This bath soak comes in the form of a finely milled powder, formulated with 100% natural colloidal oatmeal/oat flour and packaged in a resealable pouch with a plastic spoon enclosed. The design is clean and simple. The product is free from fragrances, parabens lanolin, soap, artificial colours and dyes, alcohol and sulphates, making it ideal for those with sensitive skin/conditions. To use, simply add 4-5 spoons into the bath, give it a stir and relax for 15-20minutes. I haven't had a bath in years, so this has been quite a relaxing and pampering treatment. There is a slight oatmeal scent which I find calming and pleasant. After using this I find it really helps to relieve my dry and itchy skin and provide the much needed moisterisation. My skin is looking much healthier and feeling much softer/better. It's a product I will continue to use, especially during those colder winter months when my skin is at its worst. Definitely a great product for those who want to relieve dry, irritated, itchy skin and having a relaxing experience while doing it.

I have sensitive, dry skin and it can get quite itchy over winter when it becomes especially dry. I used the Dermaveen Calmexa Bath Soak a few times over the course of two weeks. I really liked the smell of the oatmeal, it was quite a subtle, soothing scent. I did find that you need to stir it into the bath water as it can clump up. It turns the bath water a beige colour but I didn't mind that. I spent over 20 minutes in the bath each time I used it and noticed a difference in how soft my skin felt afterwards. My skin didn't look as scaly and dry as usual and. After my last use my skin felt amazing, I hadn't even used moisturiser. I found it was great to use in the bath when shaving.

With Colloidal oatmeal that soothes & restore skin. It comes in a 220g bag with zip lock at the top to keep it closed between bathtimes (unfortunately mine wasn’t working so good and was left open in the bathroom cupboard – but this didn’t cause and problem and product was still in “powder” form as it has small desiccant bags inside. To my bid surprise this comes with a plastic spoon which is very handy. After adding 4-5 spoons in the bathtub water is changing color to milky- off white. I didn’t notice any specific smell of the water. I was very happy with the smoothing and decreasing itchiness after using it. I tried on myself and two kids (my son always is complaining about itchy skin after bath times and after using it he never mention that problem again. The only thing which is making me a little confused is the residue in the bathtub after finishing bath, it looks like sand/not dissolved product left there- but its not a big amount to be worry about.

I have sensitive, dry, irritated and reactive skin and i find it really difficult to find products that are gentle enough to use while also being hydrating and provide me with that 'pamper' feel. This soak smells very subtle, and dissolves easily in water. It helps to calm any skin irritations and lock in moisture. It contains natural colloidal oatmeal and is free from common irritants. A little goes a long way and i fell in love from the first use! I will continue to repurchase and will always have this product in my bathroom cupboard. I have already recommended to family and friends. Try it - you wont be disappointed!

It comes in a ziplock bag and must say that is not the best packaging style I prefer. The zip lock did not work well and would not close property once it was opened so I had the powder all over the floor. It is free from the nasties that we might find in soaps like parabens, fragrances, lanolin, dyes & alcohol. The Bath Soak comes in powder form with a spoon to measure it. It is made of oatmeal and oat flour. I used about 5-6 scoops in a bathtub and enjoyed a relaxing soak for about 15-20 mins. It sure did have a mild oat fragrance, nothing overpowering. It dissolves into the water easily. After the soak I rinsed it off with warm water. My skin is very dry and that causes itchiness. But after the soak I did not have to moisturise my skin, it felt soft and moist. It also helped to reduce the irritation. Would definitely recommend it at least once a week to keep your skin in a great calm condition. The only trouble is finding the time to relax and soak :-)

I could never find any relief for my skin with other skincare products or other soaks. The scent was not overwhelming and very calming and I would definitely recommend it to family and friends. The size was perfect as well because you don't need to add too much to the bath for a good soak and I looked up the price and its very reasonable for some much needed relief. Also, the oatmeal was very relieving and I noticed a big difference to my skin in a day or so. I will definitely be buying this product again and keep in high stock and I love using Dermaveen products so this was a definitely easy decision to try out and see what the result will be.

After researching about this bath soak, I noticed it is formulated with 100% natural oatmeal which is proven to relax and relieve the irritation of itchy skin (even eczema). It is more convenient to use compared to making DIY oatmeal bath - simply dissolve it in hot water and enjoy the pamper moment. The product itself has a natural oat scent which is quite pleasant and not too overpowering. It dissolves quickly in water and has made my skin comfortable and away from itchiness and redness after the bath. You can even add a few drops of your favourite essential oils into the oatmeal bath to achieve that extra relaxation and moisturising effect. I would recommend this product to anyone who is suffering from the same skin issues as me.

The packaging is easy to open but for something like this I would prefer a wide lid tub that I could throw into the recycle bin after use. Inside is a very fine powder, quick check of the ingredients list reveals 1 simple ingredient, OATS. I like it already. I have been using this regularly in the bath and also in my 4 month old babies baths and straight away iv noticed how soft both of our skin feels, it is incredible, I didn't think baby skin could get any softer but I was wrong. This bath soak is divine. There is no smell except for the smell of oats, this suits me fine as I don't like heavy perfumed bath wash anyway. So my main takeaways are yes it makes your skin soft, it locks in moisture and helps keep my skin condition from flaring up like it normally does with soaps and scents. I would recommend this product for everyone. Seriously the softness is unreal

Rated 4 out of 5 by Izzy08 from Fantastic for eczema and hives My daughter was suffering from a severe eczema flare and the pharmacist recommended she try DermaVeen Sensitive Relief Calmexa Bath Soak. It helped calm her red angry skin and there was no more scratching or complaining of itchy skin. I have since used it for myself for a bout of hives and what can I say but WOW - it worked wonders! It’s a fantastic product to soothe the skin without leaving a slimy film on the skin. The product only contains natural colloidal oatmeal and is fragrance, soap and irritant free so will not further aggravate already sensitive skin. I recommend pouring the product into an airtight jar then scooping out into the bath as the packaging is a bit messy to use.

She has really sensitive skin and we have used many different brands and products, still nothing is really good until now. I highly recommend the DermaVeen Sensitive Relief Calmexa Bath Soak to you all. It is worth trying it

Skin is much healthier, soft and full of moisture than before when it was dry and dull. My toddler enjoys bath time now. Happy toddler happy mom

Dad had been bathing bub with bubble bath and had caused a mild flare on bubs sensitive skin. I was excited to see that while away, the home testers stuff had arrived. I had never used the baby dermaveen calmexa bath soak. I have used it both last night and tonight as part of our bath and bed routine and although it’s early days, I can say confidently that it has not caused further flare up, and has not increased the irritation of baby’s skin. Quite the opposite actually, she has been calm and relaxed and seems to be scratching less. It is definitely something I would reccomend. We have trialled many different products to find ones that work well for our baby, and it looks like we have found something else to add into our little bag of tricks to help her:)
