Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nose bridge is only plastic!! Beware the nose bridge is only made of plastic and does not contain any metal (like twist ties) so its not very pliable and therefore wont seal very well around your nose and upper face.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A matter of origin and quality??????? Previously when I purchased these masks they were supplied with a blue front and the box was marked "Manufacturer Softmed". The latest lot came with white fronts and the box was marked "Manufacturer/Sponsor Softmed". To date Chemist Warehouse has not responded to my query on whether the latest lot is manufactured in Australia. Therefore why no blue front and where were the masks manufactured remains unanswered. It is disappointing for a company such as Chemist Warehouse not answering a question of this type.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Caution - re country of manufacture I bought some of these today - they are NOT made in Australia. It says on the box that they are made by the 'Lai Xin Underwear Co Ltd Zhaoqing. It's only the sponsor who is Australian based.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not too bad 1.The masks were shipped from victoria to queensland. Felt risky after knowing the shipper's address due to present covid-19 situation in vic 2. The fabric of the mask is not soft, can't fit into face fully especially the cheek area. 3. The nose bridge usually becomes loose. 4. One way to solve problem 2 and 3 is to tie a knot to make two ends of the ear loops meet in order to make it fit face better. 5. Not sure about the bacterial filtration efficiency rate, it just showed sugical.

The most annoying thing is there is either too much glue on the strap (scratches your face) or not enough (so the strap comes off before you even put it on). Needs better quality control. Disappointing as I read up on the reviews before buying.

I am on my first box now and have had two break during normal use and one break when putting it on. If you are ok with the occasional breakage, then get them when on sale. They do fit your face well, but are not even close to worth the $50 RRP.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Aussie owned is great, but loops break so easily! I have bought these regularly online, preferring Aussie-made to support local. The first box several months ago was great, however the recent box (purchased April 2021) has been disappointing. The ear loops are breaking at the slightest move/touch. Very poor quality. The manufacturer needs to fasten the loops more securely at the point where they connect to the mask. Was initially happy to pay extra for Aussie ones, now reverting back to the made in China that didn't break and are cheaper. Please fix and we'll purchase again!

Of the four I've used so far, the elastic came away on two as I put them on for the first time, so they were consigned to the bin so not looking good for the remainder. Also, as they're white on both sides it's difficult to tell which side is the front, unlike the green masks. I regret going for the cheaper product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Product doesn't match description When purchasing there were WHITE and BLUE mask options - we chose the BLUE medical masks - the website image showed a BLUE mask and a TGA code. Product delivered contains WHITE only masks - BUT instructions on box says 'The coloured side of the mask is the front; the white side should face you'... Both sides are white! Now the website image shows only white masks. We specifically selected the BLUE masks. Not sure what we have. Not happy with online purchase. I would not have selected these IN-STORE.

Bought them yesterday and found that the elastic loops are so big that the mask does not adapt to the face and offers no protective seal. The mask is very loose and would slip down if I started speaking. Definitely do not recommend! $20 down the drain for a useless product!

I tried to staple strap back on, but it just doesn't work. Do not waste your money. I expected better quality from Chemist Wharehouse. Should not have bought 2 boxes.

Went through 4 in a row before 1 didn’t snap when gently putting it on. Even snaps on my young primary school children. Cheap and nasty, you get what you pay for.

The masks are so much thinner, scratchy and width shorter and the box is smaller in height with different brandiing than regular boxes I have bought in-store.
