I tried apocalypse red, red actually and wuthering purple; apocalypse red was definitely my fave, as the blue undertones really suited my skin colour. Usually I'm quite apprehensive about matte lip colours, as I find them quite drying. However, these lip paints aren't really matte (ie. like a colour pop liquid lipstick), but kind of like a lip-stain. They go on with a nice, moisturising feeling and never really dry down to that matte finish, which is fine by me! They also have buildable colour, so you can try something subtle or something more obvious, depending on the situation. I really loved the scent, too! Overall, I think they are a worthy investment if you want an easy lip colour that leaves a nice, non-glossy finish, but doesn't dry your lips out like some matte products.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The range features gorgeous vibrant colours that apply smoothly and creamy. I especially loved the 'Apocalypse Red'.\nApplication almost starts off like a gloss, but dries to a semi matte without the dryness and cracking that happens with your average matte lipstick. \nA few layers of applications is required to build up coverage and use with a lip liner is essential for sharpness around the lip line. \nThe colour was long wearing if you touched up during the day, but did leave a stain on my lips which helped when I couldn't touch up. \nOverall I liked this product and will purchase again. \n\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I have to say I love the doe foot design applicator and the almost tutti frutti scent aswell as the colours in this range they are really nice and pigmented! The formula is something between the colour of a wonderful highly pigmented lipstick and the finish of a lip gloss.The con's for me is that it did not turn to matte in anyway and isn't as long lasting. It smudges off easily so after about 4 hours you have to touch up unless you add on a few more layers to get it to last longer Overall this is a great product for when you're in a hurry and need abit of colour my personal favourite is the shade 207- Wuthering purple and the 205- apocalypse red.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The colours were great, especially the deep red! It's to die for. Goes on a little patchy but the colour is buildable and workable which is great. Doesn't quite dry down but the formula is creamy and my lips didn't feel dry which is a good perk.

The brush is a good shape which makes it easy to apply, but you will definitely need a lip liner to make it neat because brush is too soft and it can look messy over time as it smudges. It really stains your lips so even if it fades you will have colour on your lips throughout the whole day. It looks nicer with additional applications throughout the day but it doesn't have to be excessive. My favourite shade was Red Actually 204. If you apply the 207 Wuthering Purple shade with a thick coat, it comes out very purple but fades to a reddish shade over a few hours. I would definitely recommend this product, it is one of the more longer lasting lip products I've tried and has really vibrant colours.\n

The colours wore really well and did not bleed, smudge or go too dry or crack. I was impressed with the length of time it lasted before I needed to reapply and look forward to trying more colours

For starters, I really liked their packaging, they felt smooth and compact with an applicator brush that dispenses just the right amount. But, the BEST thing about these lip paints is their smell! They smelled absolutely divine like berries. Coming to their application, I liked how they glided smoothly on my lips and werent as matte as I expected.  I tend to steer away from matte products since I have really dry lips but I was pleasantly surprised with this product as they did not feel dry at all.\nThe colours are not as pigmented as I would have liked but you can build up the colour. The lip paints were quite long lasting and overall its a great product in some fantastic colours.\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I loved the old and the beautiful colour range. Specially the dark red one, it applies easy and the colour is lovely. The packaging is great and stylish. However the pigment is. It that great and I had to apply two coats the get the full coverage. It didn't dry matte and I had to set it with powder. Once it was set the colour was beautiful and that's why I gave four stars. I'm wearing the dark red one today and I got many compliments on the colour. However it's super drying and my lips are already cracked..so mixed feelings on this one..

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I was surprisingly impressed with this product, and initially because of the clump at the wand, i didn't think I would like it as much as I do! I especially liked the dark red colour as with one application, it was fully pigmented which i was surprised how thick the colour was. I found the application process to be quick and easy but the lip applicator was difficult to control while applying it. The color range is really good and i really liked the colours that they have. The purple colour was daring but different. I would recommend to a friend and would like to purchase more shades in the future.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from L'Oreal has done a pretty good job on these Lip paints, there is a great colour selection (my fav. is 205 Apocalypse red) and they are probably one of the more comfortable liquid lipsticks on the market. They are long wearing and do not dry out the lips, which i appreciate! Some thing to take into consideration is that these lip paints do not completely dry down and remain transferable as they have a pretty distinctive silicone slip to them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from What a great handbag staple! The sizes of these lip paints is super practical for even the smallest of bags. I loved the vibrant colours as well - you could really take these from day to night. In terms of consistency they were what I would say "semi" matte - they had that style of finish but it wasn't as matte as other products I have tried (in saying that, it also meant that the product was not drying and didn't crack which I have had problems with in the past!)

I thought at first that the lip paints gave a glossy application then matte finish however it never really dried matte. Overall I liked the wear and the colour of this product!

When I first tried it on the back of my hand I marvelled at the colour but on my lips I had to apply about 3 layers in the middle to make it consistent. The formula was ok, not the best I've tried though.\n\nPros: Formula is wearable\nCons: Pigment is lacking, need 3 layers for consistency\n

They're long lasting which is plus so you don't have to keep reapplying throughout the day, however i'd suggest to just reapply after eating as some of the product comes off. So overall I would recommend this product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Loved the applicator on this one and the colour range is really great. You really need to layer it up to get a strong colour. It does transfer and with drinking and eating, it does fade off and need reapplying. After a few hours it did start to dry out my lips, starting to feel uncomfortable. I wouldn't really reach for it again unless just wearing it for a few hours.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Trialing  this product I found that the packaging was nice what you get from most matte liquid lipsticks, when using the  matte lip glosses they went on easily and smelt delicious. The colour was buildable but I wouldn't say it was perfect. Lasted 2-3 hours would be less with oily foods ect. The texture reminds me of the NYX matte liquid lipsticks. eouldny say I love it but wouldn't say I hate it , the reds are beautiful.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pigmentation is good and it is long lasting.  Got plenty of complements on my lipstick whenever I wore these.  I did find them slightly drying but not unexpected from a matte liquid lipstick and definitely nothing that a decent lip balm can't handle.  Overall good product. Would re-purchase.

The packaging is really fun and I imagine that the tube style will make it a lot easier to pick up product as it starts to run out.\n\nPerformance wise I don't think it can be compared with some of the fabulous liquid lipsticks on the market. It's definitely more comfortable than some out there but I think that's because it has more of a satin finish rather than drying down to a complete matte. This does help with wearability but it's still not quite there in terms of advertised finish. The biggest problem that I found was that it does bleed a little and does that slight feathering thing that some red toned lipsticks do (may not be the case with some of the other colours).\n\nOverall it's not a bad lipstick and I'll use it again, but it doesn't compete with all the other liquid lipsticks out there.\n

Rated 3 out of 5 by from As a long time user of Loreal's True Match foundation I was excited to try the latest product in their make up range. The colours are gorgeous and adapt well to different skin tones - I had some friends try it. When applying, it goes on smoothly and readily with a nice angled applicator. Unfortunately, I was a tad disappointed with the matte appearance or lack there of. It does wonders in moisturising your lips but at the expense of the matte appearance. It's still a great product for it's colour consistency and vibrancy but the formula may need to be redeveloped if it is going to compete with other matte lip colours on the market.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Packaging: Its still a lip paint (gloss) just without the typical lip gloss packing. It's new seek tube still comes with a wand for easy application. The full range is colour coded to easily pick a shade or quickly grab a back up. They're the perfect size for clubbing purses and of course the everyday hang bag or school bag. \n\nShades: These are available in 10 shades. All super versatile but hard to pick a fave! There's just to many to choose from.\n\nConsistency: The formula is quite smooth and easily glides onto the lips. I still used a lip balm before hand to prep my lips. I noticed that it added extra smoothness however you can just skip the lip balm as they're smooth enough. You can easily create a fuller lip due to the consistency being creamy. Outta the 10 shades, there's a mixture of matte and lacquer finishes. However I found that the matte ones didn't dry matte, I'd say more of stain? \n\nOverall: The colour range is beautiful, fair few shades to pick from. I love the look of a creamy fuller look from the lacquer shades however I felt as though the matte ones don't work to well. Only due to the fact that they don't dry full. However they're still long lasting, smudge proof and really hydrating. I'm looking forward to trying out the rest of the range\n\n*part of beauty crew\n

I don't like the feeling of a full-matte lip so I used a dabbing motion of the applicator on my lips then pressed my lips together to create a more ombre look. The formula didn't dry down on my lips and still looked uneven even after blending. I found I had to blot my lips with a tissue and then apply a second layer to even it out. Overall, the colours looked nice, even if they didn't stay for more than a couple of hours. If you have drier lips like me, I'd recommend a lip balm before or after applying.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I was so incredibly excited to try these Lip Paints out. I love both of the L'Oreal Infallible Matte Foundations, so I was expecting big big things from this!! Off the bat, the packaging is great, I wasn't it expecting it to be a doe foot wand applicator, so that was a great bonus! The tube itself is gorgeous and sleek and the perfect size to pop into your bag for a night out. However, I wasn't impressed with the finish of these. Based on the name of the name of the product I was expecting these to dry matte - which is not the case. They have quite a satin finish that doesn't really quite 'dry.' It feels a bit sticky and is very very transferable. I ended up having to smack my lips on some tissue just to dry it out a bit and it leaves a nice stain. I also didn't find them very pigmented like it claims. I had to apply a few layers of product to get full coverage. But I did find it quite easy to apply. The scent is delicious, and the colors available in the range are beautiful. If these were marketed as satin lipsticks, they would be perfect but as a matte lipstick they miss the mark for me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I was super excited to try out the Loreal Matte Lip Paints. The beautiful bold colours lured me in but trying them on my lips I was disappointed. Theyre not opaque and they arent even matte. The colours are still beautiful and it takes a few layers to get an opaque colour but you can buy other lipsticks from other companies that are both opaque and matte.

I loved the colour range - the bright red was perfect for office to evening, the deeper red lovely for daily use and the purple one (which I was dubious from the outer packaging) was actually a flattering purple. I applied 3-4 coats of the colour during the day and got numerous compliments throughout the day. However, perhaps due to the winter weather or maybe my lips are excessively dry, the paint truly dried out my lips by the end of the day leaving them rather chapped. This doesn't mean that the colour, pigment and application weren't great, I just think for me it will be a summery product not one when skin needs extra hydration.

The applicator and packaging are also positives for the product. The formula is not drying at all and does last. After I ate, the colour was still on. It did require a small touch- up. The pigmentation is not very strong. It is more of a lip stain rather than a lip paint. Also, it does not apply very smoothly. It is quite blotchy on. I

Rated 3 out of 5 by from the packaging and colours are really nice. the pigmentation of some colours were good but not so with the purple one. they come off quite easily and i wouldnt really call them a liquid lipstick morelike a hydrating lip colour. it smells really nice but it could be too much for some people. the applicator was a good size and there is an ok amount of product in the tube.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from If you're looking for a slightly longer lasting lipgloss-like lipstick, than this is great. Quick, easy application, nice colours and a nice pigment. So my rating depends on how you are viewing the product and what you would like it for. If comparing it to a lipstain or even certain lipsticks, it isn't as good, sadly. It doesn't seem to last through eating, drinking or kissing, and the colours aren't as rich as is available in lipstains.

The application They didn't dry out my lips but I did find however that they lacked staying power - particularly if any eating/drinking was involved so reapplication was often required.

I found the paints didn't last and weren't transfer proof, which i would have expected given it's within the Infallible range. I did like the moisturised feeling of the product on my lips, however I'd probably only purchase this product in the future in a nude/pinky shade so that smudging/transfer isn't as noticable and won't require as much upkeep.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This product was ok. It smelt nice and was easy to use however if you are looking for a matte liquid lipstick, this is not three product for you. It feels more like a highly pigmented lipgloss. It transfers and does not really dry after application. If you find normal liquid lipsticks too drying, this is worth a try as it doesn't dry out your lips. The colours are beautiful and stay as a stain on your lips.
