I applied it slightly differently to what the instructions said as I found if you didn't have the bottle at the right angle it would be less foamy and more watery. I ended up squeezing it onto the mitt rather than the skin and this still worked a treat! I was really happy with how it came out the next morning, a nice golden colour on my skin and no patchy parts! I was a bit nervous with not having the guide colour, but the smell and feel of it was lovely. Didn't feel sticky or greasy like some other tans can be, and it also felt quite moisturising and nourishing on my skin. Although there is no need to shower, I felt like after a quick rinse the colour developed further and created a beautiful tone which has still lasted after a few more showers, hot days and workouts! Overall very happy with the product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I think this might be I think this might be my favourite product from Bondi sands and I hold the dark foam very close to my heart. The pure self tan foaming water was easy to apply, quick to dry and left my skin feeling hydrated/soft. I also really enjoyed that you didn't have to wash it off. Overall I highly recommend this product and will be purchasing it once my bottle runs out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Waited for the Dark to begin being sold again I first started off using the Pure light/medium foam, I really liked how it didnt dry out my skin and went well over the rough areas (like hands & feet) I have been waiting a few months for the Dark to be sold again online and I like it just as much! The only difference is the dark shows as your applying it, which makes it easier to not miss any spots. Today is the 2nd time I will be applying it, I am going to wait 30 minutes and re-apply just to see the difference. I will keep you posted!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pure Self Tan Foaming Water Dark Pure Self Tan Foaming Water was easy to apply and gave me good color after a few hours that lasted for several days. You have to use a mitt to apply because if not, I had streaks and it is really hard to wash off your hands. I like this product, but I love the self tanning drops and wish this face product was made for the body.

It is just so hard to tell where you‚re at and where you‚ve missed experienced Tanner it was quite difficult but it was amazing colour and not sticky. No transfer either

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I am a devoted Liquid I am a devoted Liquid Gold tanning oil user so thought I would give this a try. Colour is nice and dark however I found application not as easy as using liquid gold oil as this was not in a spray bottle

So I actually love the tanning Waters because they're clear but even in the dark shade and I'm fairly White you need several applications of this and if you apply too much you get blotchy spots like on the back of your knees and in your elbow creases when the tanning water starts to fade it will get blotchy on your thighs in your elbow creases and on the back of your knees I use the ultra dark foam I'm just going to stick with that because you don't get blotchy with that it just stinks because the tanning color gets everywhere.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok.. but have used better. I usually use the Bondi sands dark 1hr foam. I dislike the smell so I thought I would give the pure a go. It was easy to apply but felt quite tacky after. It does not smell though which is great. Woke up this morning and I like the colour but did not apply very well on the hands and feet. (I guess because no colour guard it’s harder to blend on these areas.)

This however is a crusty tan and super orange like an old school tan. It’s been 5 days and I still can’t get it off! Wahhhh

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not good I am normally a die hard Bondi Sands fan, and use most of their products, so I am not giving a poor review to the brand itself. Firstly this tan applies clear so you are unable to see where you are applying it which makes it a bit of a nightmare. I ended up with streaks and patches that are more dark / light. Secondly the colour was bright orange on me. I looked horrible and so embarrassed to go to my event because I didn’t have access to the tan eraser so had to go orange.
