Although this product has an odd smell, I like to use it on mornings when I have at least 6 hours before I need to apply any makeup for the afternoon/evening. Very easy to use--I just spray about 6 sprays all over my face, and then rub the product in with my fingers (be sure to wash your hands with soap directly after!). Wait for at least 6 hours before applying any other face products, and your tan will start to develop by then! My tan on my face fades before my body due to double cleansing and skincare products, so I love that I can use this in between when I need to tan my face and not my body!

Though the spray pump doesn't work, I simply transferred the liquid to a travel spray bottle that I have. (It's important to still rub it in and assure that the liquid is spread evenly.) The spray doesn't give as deep a tan and I have to use it more often. But the great part is that it doesn't make my skin break out!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from WORST SMELLING TANNING PRODUCT EVER This product has the most revolting smell, a highly chemical smell that also smells a little like vomit, it truly is foul both in the bottle and in your face. A replacement bottle was sent to me however it is the same, so it appears this is it‚s normal stink. I‚m not alone in thinking this and cannot believe that you make and sell this product. Absolutely horrendous to have on your face. Never again!!

I put it on after having a shower and washing my face and it made me feel dirty. Tried it again the following night thinking I might have been over thinking it but nope!! It smells so bad!! What a waste of money.

I literally gagged I don't know how this is only mentioned in a handful of reviews, unless me and the other negative reviewers got a bad batch? I was ready for the useless pump because I already have the 1 hour express face mist which has the same pump, but I needed something without a guide colour. As expected, the pump is equally difficult, but what I didn't expect was to physically GAG so hard as soon as this revolting liquid made contact with my face. Literally vomit smell mixed with mouldy cheese/feet. I swear to god the smell is up there with dog poop. It lingers too...despite washing it off immediately! I honestly pray I got a bad batch and this isn't actually being sold to everyone...but other reviews suggest I'm not the only one?!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a fan I absolutely love the Pure lotion and I got the foaming water when I ordered this and liked it as well. But this is the first tanning product I‚ve ever used and immediately hated. First, the spray bottle is so tough to press, it‚s hard to keep it steady and keep aimed properly because it takes a stupid amount of hand strength to spray. Second, the smell. I don‚t understand why this smells so bad when the other Pure products don‚t stink. Third, it made my skin feel disgusting. Not the normal self tan stickiness either, I seriously felt like I was sweaty and dirty everywhere I applied it (face, neck, chest). After 4 or 5 hours, I couldn‚t deal with it anymore and I tried to remove it with micellar water. After 6 cotton rounds of micellar water, I gave up and had to go shower it off. The color did develop nicely (although slightly more orange than the other products) despite all that, but not worth the grossness and smell. Hoping I can return to be honest.

I have used it in the past and had no issue but recently bought a new bottle and it has stained my hair after a few uses. If you have light blonde hair seriously reconsider buying this product as I have not been able to get my hair back to its original colour and will have to get it professionally fixed.

The spray nozzle is so bad that it's almost impossible to push down myself, I have to get someone else to do it and they have to use 2 hands to be able to press it down. The product itself is good, it's just so incredibly difficult to use. Definitely would not buy again
