I am only getting around to using this product now, however I am already really impressed! The base coat has an almost sticky texture to it, but surprisingly dried within minutes! I don't usually use a base coat when doing my nails, but I am interested to see if this will help the longevity of the nail polish!

It's not smelly, dries quickly and it really does help my polish last longer. The packaging and brush are easy to use. It really lives up to the high quality I have come to expect from OPI. It definitely gives you a salon finish at home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] OPI Infinite Shine Is Prostay Gloss (Base Coat) - I was very excited to try this, as I’m a big fan of base coats. I have always been one to paint my own nails so I felt like I knew what to look for in a polish. I tried the OPI Infinite Shine Trio the other night, and am pleasantly surprised! The base coat is slightly thicker than others I’ve tried before, but it still dries quickly. It leaves the nails with a shiny finish and fills in any uneven texture to my nails. It almost has a bit of a latex-y feel to it once dried. I normally find the polish I get on my skin, crumbles off in a day or two, but as you can see from the photos, it really sticks to the skin. So next time I’ll be a bit more “clean” when I paint! However the photo was taken 3 days. After initial paint, and no chips or fading! So it’s a win from me!

My nails are quite ridgy, and some base coats just don’t create a smooth surface for colour. This base coat is nice and thick, it lays down a great smooth surface for polish. Combined with the usual OPI brush, which is easy to use, this is overall a great product.

The basecoat is perfect and dries really fast. it makes applying the nail polish a lot smoother. I like this a lot. and will probably rebuy. this makes it possible to do my own nails nicely

It makes your nails that little bit tacky without drying out your nails and causing the polish to become gel like. I will do a wear test and update in the future. It dries very fast and I don't feel like I'm sitting there for a long time waiting for it to dry. It's also not streaky at all.

Definitely worth the purchase if you use base coats when painting your nails. It also has a thick brush which makes it easier for application!

The OPI base coat is a little thinner then some of my other favourites however it did do a good job of smoothing out my nails. And even on it’s own did give a good shine.

I have put on a new colour that tends to stain the nail bed, but by using OPI base coat it has given that extra layer to ensure a smooth coverage of nail colour and a protectant for the natural nail. #gifted

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sticky base coat for this 3-step system [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the OPI Infinite Shine 3-step system in my first VoxBox, complementary for testing purposes. This is my honest review of the products. Each bottle is numbered - The base coat is clearly labelled with a 1. So far, the only sign of chipping/wear is because I shut 2 fingers in a door :-( and even they only got a minor chip at the edge. Unfortunately my bottle of base coat arrived with a chip in the base rim - this didn't affect the polish at all, it was a result of the polishes arriving in a big box without being individually wrapped. To prepare the manicure I did use a cuticle remover and made sure my nails were dry and wiped clean of oils. The OPI Infinite Shine 1 ProStay base coat applies evenly and is slightly tacky on drying. Which I feel helps the layer of colour bond well. I always cap the tips of my nails with base, polish and top coats to help with wear. It's only 5 days into the wear test and I'm already impressed, as this polish trio is applied like regular base, colour and top coat polishes but advertises to provide a gel-like shine and up to 11 days of wear. I'll add photos through out the wear test, but at this rate the OPI Infinite Shine trio has already lasted longer and looks better than any of my 'gel look' manicures that were not LED cured ones.

The base coat brush is small making easy to glide over the nail. Love how it dries fast by the time I went back to my other hand was already dried. Highly recommend as a base coat will definitely buy again. Received as complimentary to review.

It feels like it creates a nice base for the next coat. With lockdowns it is really great to be able to do your nails from home.

A good base coat also ensures the lacquer on top doesn’t peel off and this does the job whilst also taking care of your nails.
