Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mixed feelings This is an easy cream to apply but whipped usually means fluffed up with air and in the middle of this product was a big air hole so I feel as though I have less value in actual product and contents will not last long. In saying this the cream is light and soaks instantly into my skin and in the morning my skin still feels very soft and nourished. I love using this cream and love the effects but probably would not buy again as the product won't last very long and although the price is good I don't feel I am getting value when air bubbles reduce the amount of product in container.The product itself is good so I do recommend the product itself.

The Swisse Bio-Retinol Renewing Night Cream is a lush thick cream with a soft rosewater-botanical scent, which was soothing without being overbearing. The texture feels slightly aerated, which I find helps apply thick creams like this more easily. The cream dries down well, and even using a decent amount like I did, I didn't have any issues with my skin feeling overly sticky or greasy. In the morning, my skin felt plump and hydrated. The packaging is a sturdy brown jar with a plastic lid, and for this reason I rated the product 4 stars out of 5. I would have preferred this product was in a tube as I am not personally a fan of jarred creams, however I did find that the cream is light enough that you can tap some out onto the palm of your hand to avoid scooping.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great texture [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great night cream I felt like it absorbed really well and wasn’t greasy or sticky like some Night creams… The other really pleasing thing was it’s smell, really neutral and not overpowering at all again like a lot of night creams I have tried tend to be. I loved the texture of this night cream it’s hydrating moisturizing and gives a luxurious feeling. Gives my skin a really balanced feeling when I wake up in the morning. I wasn’t sure if my skin had changed but I did have a friend comment on my skin glowing and looking really fresh so that’s a big win for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Swisse Bio-Retinol Renewing Night Cream is a gorgeous, moisturising and luxurious night cream. This night cream makes your skin feel plumper, smoother and softer with this intensely hydrating night cream. This cream has a whipped like texture and is formulated with wonderful botanical actives, such as bakuchiol, which have been proven to provide long lasting hydration. For those afraid to add retinol to their routine, this cream contains bakuchiol which is a natural plant-based alternative to Vitamin A (retinol). It provides similar benefits to retinol without the harsh effects. I would recommend this cream to anyone looking for an affordable night cream that packs a punch and delivers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Swisse Bio-Retinol night cream was received, packaging the standard Swisse styling, nothing fancy. I love the little jars (glass always like more lux) stack easily on my make up stands. The jar also allows you to control the amount used, as it is a cream consistency I felt like you could apply as much or as little dependant on your skin hydration, and not feel overloaded or skimping to stretch over the skin with a thin layer. It glided on. Huge tip do not forget your neck and chest! I generally use a retinol in my beauty night process, so was great to compare this product with previous ones. The standout for Swisse is the texture isn't think or sticky perfect for layering out products. The results were very similar to other retinols however my skin didn’t seem to dry out with the swisse product which is a huge bonus. It may have contributed to the night cream in which was the following step which had a cream consistency which made the application of the two together easier, and didn’t feel like I was wiping off the retinol by applying the cream. The two sat nicely on top of one another. The twice weekly night mask was also trialled with the two previously mentioned Swisse products, I felt this thickness of application of products on MY skin was a bit much and felt sticky heading to bed in it. The next morning I did also feel the residue wash off my face and did absorb as well as just the two retinol & night cream. All in all I would highly suggest the Retinol and Night cream for an everyday night routine!

I noticed how bright it made me look considering the sleepless nights I've had. my skin felt so moisturised after just the first use. my wrinkles and fine lines appeared to be less visible and blurred, felt like new skin. the texture was also very soft and easy to absorb but wasn't sticky at all. its a very good product for its price considering the amount of benefits it gives, I highly recommend it.

It is a smooth, luxurious cream. You only need a small amount as it goes along way.  The night cream absorbs quickly into the skin and leaves my face feeling smooth and plump in the morning. I only notice very minimal difference to fine lines but definitely helped improve hydration and increased smooth texture of my skin. I will definitely recommend to try this as it is a natural alternative to retinol.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked this product, I used it every night after the Swisse Bio-Retinol 0.5% Vitamin B3 10% Renewing Booster Serum. It has a really thick, luxurious texture and feels cooling on the skin. It does have a slight scent which I am not a fan of, but it isn't over powering and once applied I can no longer smell it. I have also been adding the Swisse Polypeptide Renewing Sleep Mask once a week to take it to the next level. I find this night cream to be extremely hydrating and find that upon waking my skin feels plump and rejuvenated. I really enjoy having it as part of my skin care routine, and love that is comes in a range of products that compliment each other.

It has a densely whipped texture to it and when I first tried it I was worried it was going to be heavy on my skin but it’s not. It glides on like a dream and leaves my skin feeling hydrated but not oily. Combined with the rest of the range I wake up with lovely nourished skin. I find the scent light and pretty, but for the life of my I cannot place it. The product claims to target premature aging and provide skin that is 'smooth, soft and plump'. And I have definitely been feeling those three things when I wake each morning, so for me it gets a tick!

It is a beautiful night cream with a really thick and luxe formula. It's perfect for locking in oils and serums at night time. It is very similar to the texture of yogurt. In terms of smoothing of the skin, I didn't notice a reduction in fine lines or anything, but it did make my skin very supple and hydrated. I was a little unsure if you could use it throughout the day too for an extra boost in the winter, I know you're not meant to use retinol products during the day but was unsure since this is a bio-retinol. I feel like it would be great to use under makeup in areas where dryness tends to cling

It's an opaque colour and a very creamy texture, locking in moisture really well throughout the night. As with all products in jars, I wish they.....weren't. Jar's just don't maintain the integrity of the ingredients as well as packaging that it air-tight. However, if you are looking for a product primarily for moisture and you get your nutrients from you serums, this is a really lovely product!

From a packaging perspective I love how simple the designs. The brown glass bottles and jars feels very high quality and luxurious. I have a combination of dry skin with light post acne scarring. The cream was thick but feels silky and applies smoothly against my skin. It wasn't overly sticky once dried nor overly fragrant which I appreciated. I applied the cream as the last step in my regime, my skin felt plump and well hydrated throughout the night and in to the next morning. Overall, this serum makes a great addition to my skincare regime and perfect for those who want to slowly introduce retinol with a more natural ingredient like bakuchiol. Great product! Great value for money.

The cream is thick but once on your face, it rubs into your skin seamlessly and absorbs pretty fast without that oily/residue feeling left on your face which is perfect in a night cream because no one wants that feeling on their face before laying on their pillow at night. Great night cream that you can really feel tightening the skin throughout the night and wake up looking hydrated and with visible lines reduced. my makeup also glides on way nicer in the morning after wearing it from the night before.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Thick moisturiser, good for winter First of all, disclaimer: I won the Swisse Bio-Retinol Renewing Night Cream in a Beauty Heaven competition. And I'm really glad that I did, because I wouldn't have picked up this moisturiser, so thank you BH! The Renewing Night Cream comes in a jar packaging and has a light, but noticeable sweet scent. The cream's most noticable feature is its texture: it is thick, heavy, and buttery. I typically don't buy thick moisturisers, as I have combination skin, but as per the description this seems to be suitable for all skin types, and didn't clog my pores. The thick texture also meant that I didn't need a lot of it for one use, and the jar lasted about five months (I used it four-five times a week). I applied it in the evening, and I found the Renewing night Cream very moisturising, as it made my skin feel very soft. However, it didn't make my skin feel hydrated, so I preferred to use it after a hydrating serum. Luckily, it didn't pill when applied over a serum. I didn't notice any plumping effects. All in all, it's a good moisturiser for the winter months: heavy, moisturising, and lasts one season, so I might buy it again next year, but I'll look for somethinglighter for the summer.

I love that it is so affordable compared to most other retinol products. I have found that is a bit greasy initially but it absorbs quickly with no greasy residue. I believe that it is very hydrating and I have noticed a slight improvement in the overall texture and brightness of my skin though I would prefer to use a retinol serum instead. For the price though I do think it’s an valuable add on to a current skin care regime.

This night cream has a pleasant scent and is light on the skin. It does take a little effort to fully rub in. I can't say it has overly changed my skin but it keeps it hydrated. This is great if you don't want to invest in the more expensive nightmare creams in the market.

Out of the whole range, this is the only product that made me itch.. it eventually subsided with use of the sleeping mask on top, otherwise I had to use it very sparingly! Other than that, is was nice and thick without being too pore clogging heavy.. on the nights I used it without the sleeping mask on top, my skin was still hydrated and soft, for me I could use one or the other and still have the same outcome! I would recommend trying this because it's so hard to find a night cream that doesn't make me wake up with multiple new face friends! All in all a great product that delivered on what it promised!

I also live in a dry climate and it's winter (read: heating and more dryness!) I didn't find this product enough hydration to use as a night cream (or as a day cream). It has a light, almost mousse-like texture that is usually geared towards an oily skin type. I found it to absorb quickly and be gentle and keep my skin pretty happy. I do think it pilled if you gave your skin a little rub, but it seemed to fare okay under makeup. Even in conjunction with the corresponding serum I still required a bit more hydration.
