I actually would normally wear a lipstick every day at work but enduring lockdown in Victoria and having to wear masks, I just haven’t been wearing any makeup much at the moment. I currently wear a mask at work and I’m onsite 3 days a week. The mask wearing has dried out my lips and face. I gave Dermal therapy a go. The packaging says to apply 3-4 times per day or as required. Wearing the mask- it just rubs off, so I applied some to my lips each night before bed for a week and wow! Dermal Therapy Lip Balm Enriched with Pawpaw definitely soothes and relieves severely dry & chapped lips providing intensive hydration. I noticed visible hydration and softness from the first time that I used it. The next morning they were soft and felt amazing! I love that this is an Australian made & owned product and is easy to apply to the lips in a purse size tube with the angled applicator. It’s also really affordable coming in around the $5.00 mark from chemists.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hydrating, even for the most cracked lips I am a big fan of the Dermal lip balms and this one I had yet to try. But I am so glad I did. It does what it always well - hydrates the lips and leaves it with a slightly glossy shine. A shine that also has added benefits to those dry chapped lips. I tend to get very dry lips, with cracks and skin peeling (yuck!) but with one application, my lips are hydrated and moist. I cannot live without my lip balm, and this one lives in my handbag, downstairs in the lounge, and also on my bed side table so I have access to rub some Dermal goodness everywhere I go. And with the added benefits of paw paw, it's even better for the lips. I am a huge fan pf paw paw too as it hs great healing properties. One thing I do find slightly annoying is having to squeeze the last drops out when you get to the end of the tube and it sometimes pops out in a blob and i end up rubbing the excess onto my arms or legs! I dont want to waste a drop!

I normally buy any old lip balm for my handbag without too much thought, however I really enjoyed this product and may actually now have a go-to lip product for the first time. My lips aren’t generally overly-dry, but I do spend a lot of time outdoors in the sun, wind, and at the beach. I found this lip balm to be nice and moist, and seemed to make my lips feel conditioned for quite a long time, without feeling like I needed to constantly reapply. I also didn’t find it sticky, which is something I was especially happy about, as my long hair getting dragged through lip balm isn’t a great look. I did wonder if this balm would be a thicker texture, like paw paw ointment, but it was actually a much lighter feel despite feeling very moisturising on the lips. Another thing I liked was that it was packaged in a cardboard box rather than a plastic bubble. Nice and sustainable :) Would definitely buy again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ultra hydrating, highly recommended I’ve been a long time user of dermal products although hadn’t used this particular lip balm before. The lip balm is presented in a convenient 10g squeeze tube, the tip is slanted which enables easy application without the need to use fingers or a lip brush. It has a pleasant yet subtle paw paw scent, the product’s texture is perfect; not too thick or too thin. Despite using many different lip balms, I have ongoing issues with dried & cracked lips, probably not helped by winter, certain lipsticks & lip licking. This product feels great on my lips & is very soothing. I can not believe the dramatic improvement in the condition of my lips after only four days of use. It is one of the first times I havent unconsciously lip licked in an attempt as a compensatory measure to replenish moisture. I will be purchasing more tubes to keep in my car, bags etc..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best lip balm for all seasons I have very dry lips all the time, it doesn't matter what season it is, so I tend to hoard lipbalms. I've been a big fan of Dermal Therapy for a while, and their lip balms are just as great as their skincare products. It's not exactly pretty, cute nor overly scented but it does the job really well. I apply it before be and it keeps my lips looking nice and smooth throughout the entire next day. It doesn't leave a gross sticky feeling on my lips which is great when I have a mask on all the time and don't have to worry about that. The packaging is simple and small, which is perfect for all bag sizes, I keep mine on my bedside table or put it in my pocket if I'm going out for a longer walk. I suggest you give it a shot before spending your money on branded ones.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dermal Therapy Lip Balm This Lip balm comes in a convenient 10g tube that is about 6cm in length. It is a good size to slide into the purse, nappy bag, car and bathroom. If keeping one in the car, remember the product is best kept below 30 degrees and you may come back to a sticky exploded mess in the Aussie summer. The tube has a screw top lid and the applicator has a slight slant. The slant makes it so much easier to apply. Especially on an extremely busy toddler. This product is Australian made and owned. It is free of nasties and is quite moisturising. The liquid itself it thin enough to spread adequately across your lips and absorb quite quickly. The added paw paw makes it very moisturising and amazing for dry and cracked lips from wind beaten winter lips. It is a tiny bit glossy, bit not sticky. It's a great product and something I will be buying for my family again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soft for days I always use a paw paw based lip balm and so was super excited about trying this one. My lips get dry in winter but are doing ok at the moment. I haven’t been using lipstick or any other products recently, because - lockdown… I used this lip balm twice on the first day and have to say that two days later my lips are still feeling soft. I haven’t felt the urgency to apply something more because this balm is nourishing. It’s a lovely little packet. A nice smell and no off putting taste (which some paw paw products have). I’m really please with the results and how the lip balm absorbed into my lips. I will absolutely continue to use this, more so than the others I have previously used. The results are long lasting and there is no sticky residue after use. I’m very happy with this product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soft lips almost instantly I received the Dermal Therapy Lip Balm enriched with Paw Paw as part of the 2021 Best in Beauty Awards trial team. As soon as I applied this lip balm the result was instant. My lips immediately felt softer and smoother and now I use it under my lipstick which leaves the lips feeling so soft, smooth and hydrated. I also use it overnight just to keep my lips soft and smooth. The product claims 'visible results in 1 day'. I found visible results immediately, but my lips were a bit dry with slight cracking and this balm definitely sooths and moisturises as it claims. There is no after taste either. The product does list petrolatum as the first ingredient which does concern me a bit but most products that provide the more effective results also contain this. The use of other products such as paw paw do add an element of trust. Compared to other lip balms which can be a bit gluggy on the lips, this is definitely my go to number one.

I actually have a bit of a unique take on lip products - I don't use them often, even balms, so for me the quality of a lipbalm is heavily determined by whether my lips come out "better or worse long term" - i.e. there are balms where if you don't keep using them, your lips actually get more dry. This is NOT one of those products, so that's a great start. The second thing I pay attention to with lip products is how often I need to use them for effect - I'm happy to say this balm actually leaves a lasting effect even with sparse use, which is rare and fantastic. I only like to apply lip balm in the morning and at night, and further application was not needed at all - it left my lips soft and hydrated most of the day unless I did something very radical (like heavy exercise while breathing out of my mouth frequently). If you're a low-maintenance kind of beauty, I recommend this lip balm 100%. It won't require you to use it constantly and still work for you. Bravo!

It came at the perfect time as my daughter has been struggling with a dry cracked lips. we have tried 3 other products which improved the temporary feel of her lips, however, they failed to actually heal them! This Lip balm made a visual improvement after the first 2 applications and within 2 days my daughters red, raw, cracked lips were fully healed! I was so surprised as she has been battling with this for a few weeks and it's something that reoccurs quite frequently for her. I also tried it myself but as my lips are fine at the moment I would probably add this lip balm in as a night time treatment with my skincare to keep my lips hydrated and protected whilst I sleep. During the day I prefer lightly tinted balms to give me a little bit of a boost. The packaging is good and I like that the tip has a curved end for easy and mess free application (I dislike balms in a pot, especially in this day and age with hygiene being a big concern!). I recommend for anyone struggling with dry, cracked or sore lips. Also great for additional hydration and protection before going to bed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nourishing balm in cute tube We all need lip balm. I have so many around the house, at work, in the car, in my handbag, in my bed side table. I am always ready to try a new one. I have used Dermal's products before so was excited to try this lip balm. All of their products are always fantastic for sensitive skin or irritated skin, and my lips have gotten quite dry over winter. This is a great lip balm for dry lips and comes in a very cute tube with a nice slanted tip for easy application. The paw paw infused formula is great because it soothes itchy lips and has a nice hint of smell. It feels rich and nourishing, and soothing as soon as it is applied. I use it all day long but it holds quite well so you can use it over or under lipstick, particularly matte lipsticks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like a moisturiser for your lips! The Dermal Therapy lip balm enriched with paw paw is a very moisturising lip balm. It comes in a sleek 10 gram squeeze tube, perfect for getting just the right amount without using your fingers or getting the rest of the balm dirty like most products. It has a very light sweet scent, you can smell a hint of paw paw and it strangely feels more like a moisturiser for your lips than a balm. Which a good thing! Most lip balms feel like a sticky balm but this one is just smooth and not sticky and just feels like a moisturiser that's keeping my lips moisturised and hydrated while it's on. My lips also feel very supple and when I take the balm off or it wears off they feel very soft. For me the balm lasted a few hours before reapplying but I also use it overnight and wake up with soft lips. Overall it's a great moisturising balm that lives up to its name.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Instantly smooths dry lips I got this Dermal Therapy Lip Balm (Paw Paw) from the BH Rewards Room as the winter weather always really dries out my lips. This Lip Balm has a concentrated formula that's thick and very nourishing. It has a pleasant, natural scent and comes in a handy sized tube with a slant tip applicator. I have noticed after the first application that my dry, chapped lips felt instantly softer and smoother. This is a great intensive lip balm to use at night, as it quickly repairs dry to very dry lips.

Another stunner to compliment the existing range up of Dermal Therapy Lip Balms. This version combines all the brilliant features of the Original Dermal Therapy Lip Balm with paw paw, resulting in a product with a great flavour/taste profile that provides relief for chapped and dry lips. During dry/winter conditions, the hydration and relief provided by this product is in a league of it's own.

Then while going to purchase this, I saw this new product extension and tried it. Wow!! Another absolutely stunning product from Dermal Therapy. This combines all the brilliant features of the Original Dermal Therapy Lip Balm with paw paw, resulting in a product with a great flavour/taste profile that provides relief for chapped and dry lips. The hydration and relief provided by this product is in a league of it's own.

This is my new favourite lip balm and can honestly say I saw the results after 1 day, just like it said on the pack! Highly recommend! I bought from Chemist Warehouse :)

It instantaneously made my lip soft, and hydrated it from the inside out, unlike plenty other lip balms, your lips will remain hydrated long after the product is gone. Packaging is small and convenient. I definitely recommend it to everyone!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I like it but it smells like vomit This Dermal Therapy lip balm does a fantastic job at hydrating my lips and I love the tingling sensation it gives my lips after applying. It doesn't add any colour to the lips. Just makes them look a little bit shiny which I do like. And if my lips are dry or cracked from me forgetting to apply a lip balm this fixes it straight away. It's not sticky. It feels comfortable and silky on the lips. What I don't like is the smell. It smells like vomit. I think that might be from the fermented paw paw in the formula.

I found the Dermal Therapy Lip Balm Enriched with PawPaw to really mositurise the lips and provide a nice plumpness without any sticky feeling. The Dermal Therapy Lip Balm Enriched with PawPaw is really nice as a lip balm on its own (although if you are looking for shine this is not something this balm will provide) or to be used to prep and prime lips before lipstick or a matte lip product is applied. I have would recommend the Dermal Therapy Lip Balm Enriched with PawPaw for anyone who wants a nourishing, mositurising, effective and affordable lip balm that does not leave a sticky residue or have any scent which could cause any reactions for people who are sensitive to scent. The Dermal Therapy Lip Balm Enriched with PawPaw is a definite winner for your lips!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Intense moisture for your lips I love the little handy size of this paw paw enriched lip balm it's so cute! It comes in a little tube with a screw lid and a slanted plastic applicator tip. The package design is kind of basic, not overly pretty colour wise but it is clear what the product is for. I love that the tip allows for immediate lip application right from the tube, instead of having to put onto a finger first. The product itself is a clear thick gel, which comes out of the tube fairly easily and is smooth to apply. It isn't scented or flavoured, but can leave a bit of a creme/product taste in your mouth if you accidentally lick your lips. A little goes a long way too, and lasts for a few hours. It's handy to pop into your handbag or desk at work when the aircon has you dried out. With winter just passed my lips are a bit worse for wear with peeling and dryness. Using this product has helped improve their moisture level and repaired some of the peeling areas.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A lovely product As an avid lip balm user I was excited to trial this product. I'm always on the hunt for a hydrating lip balm that's mess free! I love the packaging of this product, I find squeeze tubes so much easier to use. With this product you didn't need much, it applies clear and I felt my lips were hydrated instantly. There is a very subtle fruity smell which I assume is from the papaya seed oil and pawpaw. I do prefer lip balm with SPF in it given the Australian sun can be quite harsh, it would be great if they could bring this out in an SPF version too. Overall I really enjoyed this product and I would purchased again. I love the fact that it's not over it fragranced, or lack of fragrance isn't offensive. I think this would be suited to everyone, male or female. I also love that it's Australian owned!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Neat Little Lip Balm I was given the Dermal Therapy Lip Balm Enriched with Paw Paw to use as part of the Best in Beauty 2021 trial. It comes in a little white squeeze tube with a slanted applicator. Using it the first time, I was struck by the texture which was a slippery oil-like texture, rather than the usual balm-like texture I prefer. Apart from that, there hasn’t been any issues at all. The slanted applicator makes it really easy to apply evenly on my lips and it’s nicely hydrating. It likely won’t replace my other favourites because of the texture but it’s performed quite well and I’ll definitely use it up with the cool/warm hybrid weather at the moment which means my lips are often quite dry. I also like that the packaging is a cardboard box instead of the usual plastic wrapped cardboard – this is a nice step away from single use plastic.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Handy tube to have around for chapped skin The Dermal lip balm is a great lip balm to have handy during the dry winter months if you suffer from lip chapping. Coming in a squeeze tube, it is hygienic and easy the dispense the right amount for use everytime. It is a petroleum based product enriched with cocoa butter, 4% fermented pawpaw and 1%papaya seed oil so those who want all natural based products may not like this combination. That aside, it is an effective product as it provide a barrier against skin and allows the skin to heal without being exposed to more aggravating external elements. I find that irritated skin around the lips are immediately soothed upon use and applied 3 times a day, my chapped lips disappeared in 2 -3 days. As it is a small tube it is easliy to slip into the handbag for outings and I otherfind myself reaching for it to use on my rought culticles and fingers ( thanks to gardening hands) to help soothe the skin in those areas as well and that also works incredibly well as sometime it's the only product I have handy with me when not home and it still provides soothing comfort to help soften the rough skin on my hands in emergency uses.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great lip balm! I received this product as part of a trial team, and as an avid user of lip balms, I was keen to try this one! The balm is contained in a 10g plastic tube with a screw type lid, and the product is squeezed through a slanted applicator. The balm goes on clear and feels lovely and soft on the lips without being sticky or oily, and is slightly glossy. It makes the lips feel soft and smooth, a feeling that lasts for a long time after application. The balm has a very slight taste and scent of paw paw without it being too sweet or strongly tasting. This product can be used day or night; my lips were soft and felt really hydrated after using this product overnight. This product is terrific value for money and I will repurchase after finishing this tube. My only negative comment is that it does not contain a sunscreen; I deducted a point for this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from fairly standard lip balm I received this lip balm in the Best in Beauty 2021 Box, - thrilled to be a part of this trial x i love lip balm and have them stashed everywhere although i much prefer a lip balm in a wind up package - i just find them easier to use it has no real smell which i found attractive - it glides on very easy with the slanted tip, wasnt sticky or too oily made my lips very soft and comfortable- its a good all round go to and very affordable price wise .......my hubby is the lip balm king - he really liked it too, no color or scent was good for him as well i would def reccomend this product - its a no fuss staple - for either men or women - the price is very good as well love that it is Australian made and owned.:)

The packaging of this product is a really great and convenient 10g squeezy tube. It has a slanted applicator that sits in the contours of the lips nicely. the application is really easy to squeeze gently and glide over the lips. This lip balm leaves the lips feeling soft, and hydrated which is great for during and post winter. It has a light scent and if you accidently get a bit on the inside of your lip, the taste is not unappealing. This product is Australian made and owned! very appealing for all aussies. It requires to be stored below 30 degrees in a dry place so not the best to be left in the car in the middle of summer. It also has a good 3+ years used by date printed on the packaging (recommended disposal after being opened for 12months)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dermal therapy lip balm enriched with pawpaw - trial team This lip balm comes in a 10g tube, a change from wind up balms and I think I actually prefer it. The balm applies clear and I feel like there’s the slightest hint of pawpaw scent, but it’s very faint and fades quickly. It has pretty much no taste. It has good coverage and clings to my lips well. After it feels like it’s worn off, my lips still feel soft. After using regularly for a week, my lips feel much softer. I also had Hubby try this product and he liked it too. The lack of tint or girly scent makes it suitable for everyone. It’s great that it is Australian made and owned. This is a very good all-round balm that lives up to its claims of fast acting intensive hydration.
