Directions

Wet your skin with warm water.
Take a pea-sized amount of the cleansing oil onto your hand.
Gently massage the product onto your wet skin - emulsifying the oil cleanser into a foam consistency and avoiding the area around the eyes.
Rinse well with water and pat dry with a clean towel.
Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, thoroughly rinse with water.

I have always liked using foam cleansers and quite impressed with the consistency of Cerave's creamy formula. It's gentle against my skin with no irritations or sensitivity and easily removes my make-up in one wash. I have rather dry skin and this cleanser works well with keeping my skin hydrated and feeling refreshed. I feel at ease knowing this cleanser has been developed by dermatologist and safe against my skin. A product i would definitely recommend for an all rounder-cleanser!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super Gentle Everyday Cleanser [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The CeraVe Hydrating cream-to-foam cleanser has been a delight to use over the past month. I am impressed by the texture and consistency of the product. It is thin and creamy but does not feel like you are rubbing a lotion on your skin. Which I generally experience when using cream cleansers. I also love that it leaves my face feeling refreshed and clean but does not dry out my combo skin. I would recommend the product to anyone looking for a simple, no-fuse gentle cleanser. Especiall6y if they enjoy a foaming cleanser but usually find that they strip their skin of any hydration. In my opinion, it would be fantastic for anyone just starting to use skincare. It has no fragrance and the packaging is pretty sleek and comes with a pump (which can be locked). I would not, however, recommend this product to remove makeup. That being said it would depend on the type and amount of make up you use. When I attempted to use it as a makeup remover, I was unable to remove all of my mascara/eyeliner/foundation. I prefer to use the CeraVe cleanser as more of a second cleanse instead.

Love that it is a cream based rather than a gel based. As i find cream based more hydrating for the skin and it doesn’t strip your skin too much. There isn’t much of a smell which is good and it has not caused any issues on my sensitive skin. Sometimes I feel like I might want something a bit more luscious but really quite happy with this. All in all I would purchase again as an everyday cleanser- it has a great price point, great size and so easy to use in the pump bottle

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super gentle, fragrance-free must-try product [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found that it was an okay-cleanser and I can totally understand why there is so much hype surrounding this product. I loved the fact that it didn’t leave my skin feeling over-stripped which I’ve found a lot of other foam cleansers do. The cleanser has a nice texture and I loved that it was fragrance-free! I also loved the easy to use pump dispenser and didn’t make me break out (total win!). I think if you had especially sensitive skin and have really struggled to find a good cleanser, this CeraVe cleanser might be perfect for you! I did, however, personally find that it didn’t always remove all of my makeup effectively; I tried it with both light coverage and full coverage foundations and found that while it did a good job at starting the work in terms of makeup removal, it didn’t always completely cleanse all the makeup off my face. Nothing that a double cleanse can’t fix but I generally prefer my cleansers to be more effective at makeup removal at first-go. I would recommend everyone give this product a go because it is such a gentle product, and just keep in mind that skincare is very unique to you and your needs (this CeraVe product might well be perfect for you!).

I have quite dry skin so this helped to hydrate my skin and also left my skin feeling super clean as well . It had a thin consistency when it went on and foamed up super easy . I followed with a toning water and my usual serums and moisturiser . I’d say this product would be better for people with more normal to dry skin rather than combination to oily skin as the product is quite rich once it had been applied I usually use an oil cleanser but I’d happily switch to this one next time I’m out shopping .

This product left my skin feeling smooth and silky after which is surprising as most leave it feeling tight and dry. This product is perfect for dry skin and removed my make up with ease as opposed to make up wipes that never get it all. I would definitely recommend this product and will be trying other products from this brand. I had never heard of the brand before but I’m impressed. I’m a fan of the smell too it’s very light and not overpowering like some cleansers can be. I have quite dry skin usually and this product did not dry it out like others have done. I used this for weeks and have seen an improvement with my skin not being as dry. I will be replacing this product with my usual cleanser I’m so happy with it.

I wasn’t expecting to be impressed by this cleanser as I was already super happy with my current cleanser. However, after using this for several weeks, I am now going to switch to this one. It leaves your skin feeling silky and soft rather than tight. I have never once felt like my skin was striped of moisture. I use this cleanser as my second cleanse and I couldn’t be happier with it. It is also noticeably different to the standard CeraVe cleanser as I found that one left my skin feeling tight and uncomfortable and didn’t want to include it as a permanent addition to my skincare routine. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Prior to using the Cerave foaming cleanser, I was using a Korean beauty foaming face scrub, and an oil cleanse if I had makeup on. I have normal/dry skin, not usually sensitive to any products. I've used the cleanser in the shower at night to wash my face, with or without makeup (I don't wear foundation but do use spf and wear blush)." I find it removes my makeup extremely well, and I love the way it foams up - it's nice to use. It does have a very mild "clean linen" type of scent. It wasn't my favourite, but also wasn't so overpowering or lingering, so it hasn't stopped me using it. If I wipe my face over with micellar water after using, it shows how clean my face is. I have also found that after my shower, my skin feels soft to the touch, which was surprising because I'm used to using an oil as part of my cleansing routine. This was super easy to incorporate into my existing routine - I found even in the morning after cleansing my skin was softer. I probably wouldn't use this twice a day to cleanse, I normally only cleanse with water in the morning - if I still had oily skin I think this would be gentle enough to use morning and night though! I've had no skin reactions and this hasn't made my hormonal acne better or worse. I'd happily recommend this to someone who wants a basic daily cleanser, and will gladly use this up as part of my new routine. IF I saw it on special I'd grab one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very gentle cleanser [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so lucky i got to trial this product and it was a great gentle cleanser. I love that it comes in a pump bottle so you can manage the amount of product dispensed but you are able to extract it with one hand. Given it has been developed alongst dermatologists you know that it is going to be a saviour for sensitive skin which I think is probably the people who would benefit the most from this product. I have i would say regular skin and have the ability to use slighly harsher products. I am generally using a cleanser that is also for make up removal. After wearing noor very minimal makeup, i found this cleanser fantastic is removing it all and giving my skin that freshly cleaned feeling with it being smooth and not irritated afterwards. However, when i was wearing heavier makeup, i found it slightly struggled to remove some of the more stubborn products. It was great however when i felt my skin at become slightly irritated by something or itchy from the heat and this allowed me to use a simple and smoothing cleanser that wouldn't make it worse.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from An okay cleanser, nothing special [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this product for my second cleanse after using an oil cleanser and I found it to be quite hydrating. It pumps out as a creamy texture and then emulsifies in your hands on your skin into a mild foam. I did find it a bit irritating around my eyes so I just ensure all of my eye make up is removed with my first cleanse. I found it hydrating and it didn't leave my skin feeling tight or dry the way other cleansers can. I also found it to be good in effectively removing all of my makeup quite easily and there was no residue left on my towel when drying my face. You don't need to use much product at all and a little goes a long way so a bottle this size is going to last you a really long time. I don't know that I would purchase this again, I didn't mind it but I am not a big fan of foaming cleansers and it didn't wow me in any way.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good makeup remover [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked that the product requires only a small amount and lathers up nicely. However, it did not have a pleasant or neutral smell: to me it had a bit of a chemical odour. While it removed my sunscreen and foundation really well, unfortunately it gave me that dry and tight feeling after use, before I applied my moisturiser. Therefore, I don't think it is suited to my skin which tends to dryness. I think any cleanser that foams up is going to be drying somewhat! Nevertheless, I do feel that my skin is smooth and soft after use, and my pores are minimised after a couple of weeks of use. However, for my comfort I would prefer a cleanser that doesn’t foam, so it doesn’t leave me with that dry feeling.

Doesn't have a fragrance either. It's a good second cleanse or morning cleanser - but you would need something more heavy duty for makeup/sunscreen removal. This would also be a great cleanser for when you've overdone the actives and need something moisturizing. The reason I've given it 3 stars is because I prefer to use cleansers that will have a noticeable effect (brightening/exfoliating/salicylic for pimples etc). Overall, a nice, gentle hydrating cleanser probably best suited to drier skin types.

It has no scent which is lovely and doesn’t burn my eyes! My skin is very dry and I thought it would be suitable for summer, at first I liked it. It was a little drying but nothing I thought my skin couldn’t handle. The longer I used this the more break outs I was getting and I haven’t changed anything else in my routine (I’ve had the same routine for over a year). I’ll probably use it on my body instead to use it up but my skin seems to be too dry for this cleanser.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Made my face burn I'm thankful to have received this product to trial. Unfortunately, it made my face burn like crazy when I applied it. I massaged it into my skin, thinking the stinging may subside, however it didn't. I washed it off straight away. However, even after I'd washed it off my face felt very tender and sore to touch. I have sensitive skin and this just didn't work for me unfortunately. As for the actual product, it has a very thin consistency, which is ok but I prefer a thicker cleanser. It turned to foam when I massaged it into my face. After I'd washed it, it left my face feeling stripped of its natural oils too, which is a major con for me. I did like that it didn't have a scent and came with an easy to use pump dispenser. Overall, it isn't for me. My skin just didn't agree with it. However, it may work for people with less sensitive skin.
