It is a really nice, thin consistency and it sinks into the skin really quickly. It also sits well under makeup, almost acting as a primer so that is a huge win for me. I do feel like i have seen more evenness with my skin tone - i get the occasional red marks from spots, and they disappeared faster with this product. It is also a fantastic price point compared to other Niacinamide products on the market. have always had great success with Swisse products and am excited to see more skin improvements with my continued use. I would definitely recommend this product!!

However it began to leak a little after it was opened. I feel that the design may be a little faulty as the top loosens a little every time you open it. The product itself felt nice when I just applied one pump. Two pumps began to feel a little greasy on my skin. One pump of product felt nice and absorbed easily in to my skin. It has no fragrance which I was happy about. My skin definitely felt a little more hydrated after application. I would be interested to continue using this as I feel it would have potential to even out my skin tone and possibly help with fine lines after prolonged use. I will happily buy another bottle of this to see how it works with prolonged use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a long-time user of Swisse supplements, I've been interested in trying their skincare products, which on this occasion was the Niacinamide Skin Renewal Serum. With the label promising skin renewal reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, I was keen to see what impact it would have (as their Hair Skin Nails supplements had been game-changing for my complexion and skin health in the past). The report card? A fantastic product! I've been using this for a few weeks now, and continue to be surprised/delighted at the impact on my skin nooks and creases (especially the corners of my eyes and sides of my nose), which when touched feel new! The key improvement for me using this was skin tone and texture - As I've gotten older my skin gets very dry on the forehead and outer cheeks, and this serum has evened out the hydration and feel of my skin overall. I also have rosacea which can sometimes bring reactions to this kind of skincare, but this serum mix had no red blotches or reactions. Recommended!

Serum is smooth to apply and is quick to dry but not quick enough before applying to your face. Felt the serum helped brighten my dark spots and acne blemishes so they were not as definite. I noticed that my skin would tighten by morning when applying overnight, which helped reduce my wrinkles and imperfections for the rest of the day.

I mainly use it in the evening after cleansing, in the morning my skin feels soft and smooth, it helps a bit with the fine lines and wrinkles.I have normal skin, few fine lines around my eyes already.Love to use serums especially in the summer time, they are lightweight and moisturize without feeling oily. It is beautiful to use, I bought other products from this brand in the past and they are affordable, pretty good value for money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A good 10% niacinamide + 0.5% bakuchiol serum It's been good to see more Australian-made products take active ingredients seriously, and I was drawn to this serum because it contains 10% Niacinamide, 0.5% Bakuchiol, 0.2% Hyaluronic Acid, glycerin and is fragrance-free. Niacinamide is an ingredient that I will always have in my routine, as it has so many benefits including minimising the appearance of pores and fine lines, brightening and strengthening the skin barrier. Glycerin is a great humectant in itself, and there are additionally four molecular weights of hyaluronic acid. It did annoy me to see yet another brand call bakuchiol 'Bio-Retinol' when it has no relationship to retinol at all. Having said that, I do like bakuchiol as an ingredient - it is a great antioxidant in itself. It does not work in the same way as retinol, and it does not need to be an 'alternative' to retinol as both can be used together to boost benefits. This product comes in a handy pump in a dark glass bottle. The serum itself is thicker than water, almost like a liquid gel, and has a milky appearance. It feels hydrating upon application and absorbs quickly. I did find that sometimes my skin experiences a little bit of tinging when it is sensitized but the sensation goes away quickly. Most of the time I feel nothing. Even though the directions say to apply it in the evening, I see no reason that this can't be used in the morning as none of the ingredients cause sun-sensitivity. I usually use this before my strong retinoids in the evening as they are excellent to pair together; but when I have used it in the morning, I experienced no pilling under makeup. As I have been using these active ingredients already, I did not see any improved appearance of my skin, but it has certainly worked in terms of maintaining the condition of my skin, and certainly feels hydrating. My pores are less obvious. I would rate this higher than the Ordinary's 10% niacinamide serum, since it has additional bakuchiol and glycerin and HA, but also because I sometimes experienced pilling with the Ordinary's serum which I don't with this one. It's also often half price at Chemist Warehouse, making it inexpensive and easily available. If not for the misleading marketing name 'Bio-Retinol', I would have rated this five stars. I think brands have a responsibility to educate customers and not misleading marketing to sell products.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great I've been using this as an alternative to my retinol treatment, and it works just as well. It is a water-based formula, and it comes out clear. It is light on the skin and absorbs well. The niacinamide helps keep the pimples and acne at bay, and the bio-retinol smooths out imperfections and dark spots. As it's not a retinol it can be used day and night but I choose to use it only at night and another serum as a day serum. It's also great for anti-aging. A great product overall and it's also very affordable.

I normally are dark around my eye area, and I look like I don't get a lot of sleep, due to dry skin which brings out the fine lines. This is the first serum that makes me look less tired. The serum is a nice lightweight formula, that absorbs really well, but the more I use it, the less I have found I needed, because it has been hydrating my skin! It is also not sticky after applying, but I would wait for it to completely dry before applying anything else. This is a great base, as either a primer, or underneath moisturiser, because it is not heavy or oily on the skin, so it doesn't create a barrier
