It was gentle on my skin and caused no irritation or dryness. I also liked that there was no sticky feeling. The ingredients are ideal as I find B3 a great ingredient my skin now that I'm in my 30s and without question retinol is essential for fine lines and makes my skin brighter. I recommend this serum for anyone wanting to prevent the side effects of aging and give their skin a healthy boost and glow. The price point is fantastic when compared to other similar products on the market.

The Swisse Bio-Retinol 0.5% Vitamin B3 10% Renewing Booster Serum is a thin milky serum with a soft herbal scent that is barely noticeable and quite pleasant. The main benefit of this product for me was the niacinamide (vitamin B3) which works well on my temperamental skin to prevent breakouts and reduce the leftover marks from healed acne with almost overnight effects. A massive pro of this product is how quickly it dries down on the skin, and unlike other niacinamide products I have used in the past, it leaves NO sticky residue. Once dry (1-5 mins), the skin feels softer, and concealer can be applied straight on top of it without issue. The packaging is a luxurious feeling brown glass bottle with a pump, which I believe would protect the product from degrading with light or air. I much prefer this option over a dropper, and the pump is easy to control to dispense the perfect amount of product. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product to a friend, provided that their skin reacts well to niacinamide. I imagine this would also be an excellent starter product to introduce niacinamide to your routine for the first time, given the lack of excess nasty ingredients. I am very happy with this product and would re-purchase in the future!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very impressed with the Swisse Bio-Retinol 0.5% Vitamin B3 10% Renewing Booster Serum and I highly recommend it! After using this product every night for a few weeks noticed my skin feeling and looking more refreshed and had a glow. My skin definitely felt more smooth, clear and hydrated. I have noticed my skin texture has improved. This serum is light with a great consistency, it is easy to apply which I love and it has a nice smell. This serum absorbs into my skin nicely. My dark circles under my eyes have improved as well as acne scars. I can’t wait to see more results. This serum is definitely a winner for me. I will continue to use this product.

I’ve been using it in combination with the Swiss skincare range of products and have gotten really good results - my skin is clear, my blackheads have cleared up in the last few weeks and I don’t have any pimples. My skin feels refreshed and soft. The product smells nice but the smell is also not too strong or overpowering. The serum absorbs without any oily feeling and my skin just feels calm and fresh afterwards. The product also has enough viscosity that it’s not thick and gluggy but also not too runny. Very easy to handle and apply. I like that it has vitamin B3 niacinamide and bio-retinol, acting similarly to Vitamin A. I have somewhat difficult skin and ageing skin, and this product has worked really well for it. My skin is also sensitive and some products disagree with it but this serum was good. I recommend using it with the range but I imagine it would be good on its own too. I definitely recommend!!

I rarely notice obvious effects in my skin tone after using skin care products, particularly those in the lower price range, but with this serum I noticed softer, smoother, more even and brighter skin almost right away when used along with the Night Cream. I think this product is great value for money, and a great way to get the positive effects of retinol without the harsh side effects. I would recommend this product to anyone who is too afraid to try retinol products!

I normally have dry skin and my skin soaked this up. Easy to apply and a little goes a long way. After trialling this product for about a month with the night cream and mask my skin was brighter and smooth. I usually get breakouts every month but have not had a single breakout as yet which is incredible. I love the packaging and the easy to use pump. Often with serums it is a dropper device which can be messy and awkward to use but the pump is great and makes things much easier. The labelling is also great, simple and easy to read. When I think of Swiss I normally think of vitamins but am really impressed with their range of face care especially when there is so much to choose from in the market. Will definetley spread the word and buy when I get low

I got to try the serum, night cream and sleeping mask ! For this serum it is full of goodness such as bakuchiol ( vitamin A alternative) 0.5% . It’s scientifically proven to have similar benefits to retinol without the harsh affects. It also has scientific level 10% visibly improves skin texture & tone , reduces the appearance of darkspots, finelines & wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid 0.2% instantly hydrates& plumps skin. I love how packaging has a pump which helps control dispense product quantity and it makes it easy to use ! I found it gentle enough as I only needed to use a minimal amount every night. Having a high dose of Niacinamide B3 as the second ingredient was very appealing to me. I have found B3 to work wonders on my aging skin. Bakuchiol and Hyaluronic Acid are also the key ingredients in this serum and I noticed a real improvement in the depth of my crows feet and undereye area. I also noticed a reduction in my dark spots on the side of my face. I would highly recommend this serum for anyone wanting to prevent the side effects of aging.

It was thicker than others I've tried so I felt like it was actually physically hydrating in addition to the effects of its ingredients. One pump was the perfect amount for my face, and another for my neck and décolettage. I apply this before brushing my teeth and that 2 minutes gives it the right amount of time to sink in before applying moisturiser. It has a slight scent I cannot identify, which is mild and inoffensive. In terms of the effect, after a few weeks use I have noticed that my skin is more supple, and makeup goes on more smoothly. When I wake up in the morning my skin looks nice and smooth and feels moisturized. I haven't got any dark spots, but I do have fine lines which I don't think have reduced. However the overall effect is an improvement in skin tone (when combined with the night cream and sleep mask in this range.)

I have really sensitive skin and this serum leaves it hydrated and feeling amazing. It goes on easily and doesn't feel tacky or sit weird after under and over other serums and moisturisers. I haven't noticed any visible signs of reduction in fine lines and wrinkles, but it leaves my skin feeling hydrated more than even my hydraulic acid. Another amazing thing about the product is the price! You won't get a bio-retinol for this price anywhere else!

It is an absolute dream to apply, the consistency is seriously smooth and it glides over the skin giving you that super hydrated and glowy result. It absorbs beautifully into the skin quite quickly, which is great for a quick and efficient start to your skincare regime. I'm a sensitive skin type and I couldn't be happier with how my skin felt when using this serum. The active ingredients were gentle enough to not cause a nasty reaction (which unfortunately is a common occurrence for me), but definitely enough for me to notice a difference in the texture and hydration of my skin after consistent use. It's super hydrating and absorbs quickly and doesn't leave any residue behind. It also layers really nice under products. I find every cleanser ever makes my skin feel dry, but I use this straight after washing and it makes my skin feel great. I've been using it nightly and wake up with my skin looking and feeling plump. The packaging is very no frills, which I appreciate, with a good pump. My lines look marginally better - but that could just be from the plumping, but either way my skin over all definitely looks much better! Considering I've struggled with many exxy products before on my annoying skin, I'm astounded how cheap this is and will 100000% be repurchasing!

It absorbs into the skin nicely. It doesn't have a strong smell, which I love as I hate fragrance. The bottle is nice and it is easy to dispense the product. My face is noticeably brighter and less dull. My skin is looking very clear using this product. I have been using it at night because it leaves a little bit of a residue on the skin, and I have been waking up looking bright and refreshed. Overall I'm very happy with this serum and will be repurchasing.

It smoothed and softened out my wrinkles and lines.. although it doesn't sink in as quickly as other serums, I guess it's good it's used at night to give you that extra time! If I don't leave it to sink in for about 20 minutes, it pills when I put other products on top, it doesn't matter what products I use! My face definitely looked softer and my skin texture was improved, whether that's because of all products combined.. this was definitely refreshing! I did use this by itself and I guess consistently this product delivers! I don't have any dark circles, but this did lighten up my blemishes, so it's a win win!

I definitely noticed a difference in my dark spots and acne scarring as well as my fine lines around my eyes. I found it super light and hydrating and it absorbed so well into my skin! I didn't get any of that yucky peeling afterwards even when using a thick moisturizer and night mask. It left my skin super hydrated all over and didn't dry out any of my breakouts or cause my skin to get flakey. I would 100% get this again and recommend to others I loved it!

It has all the great ingredients like Niacinamide which is a strong antioxidant and helps maintain moisture in your skin, it also has Bakuchiol with is a natural alternative to vitamin A which has less harsh effect. Like I said earlier, using this product saved me a lot of time and therefore would save a lot of money investing in your night skincare routine. Plus very accessible to purchase so that is such a bonus, will totally recommend it to any one who wants to try a less harsher retinol alternative or shorten their skincare routine even my husband used it and he loves it to.

My face felt instantly fresh and hydrated and loved the fact I just needed to apply and not rinse. There was noticeable changes to skin tone and more than anything my skin rely fresh and energized. The serum applied really easily and had a minimalistic smell which I prefer products not overly perfumed. This serum paired with nightly face mask led to maximum results. This is an all round great serum and I can’t recommend any more highly.

It doesn’t leave the skin feeling tacky, oily or slick, it absorbs nicely. This serum contacts perfect ingredients for those looking to combat wrinkles and and dark spots. I have a few small acne darks and left over pigmentation and notified a slight improvement. In addition I did notice fine lines, wrinkles and overall texture and tone improved. I really enjoyed this serum - the texture, the smell. My skin felt moisturised after application, and still so in the morning. I'm not sure about fine lines and the effect, but my skin definitely looks brigher, plumper and some pigmentation changes have occured, so I'm excited to continue use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Seriously good serum for a stand out price [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Swiss bio-retinol 0.5% vitamin B3 10% renewing booster serum for the past 3 weeks and for a product that falls more within the ‘budget range’ it certainly gives results as good if not better than products twice the price. As 30 (age) is approaching fast, I have really started to notice the fine lines and wrinkles becoming more and more noticeable and after using this serum for the 3 weeks, I really do see a reduction in the depth and obviousness of them. I have been more confident having makeup free days and have been getting a few comments on how good my skin has been looking which is a huge confidence boost. For someone who has sensitive skin, using retinol can sometimes be too harsh on my skin so having bakuchiol as the active ingredient and as an alternative product to retinol is perfect. I have been using this every night and some mornings along with the Swiss bio-retinol renewing night cream and my skin is certainly looking brighter, firmer and a lot more dewy throughout the day! You only need 1-2 pumps of this for a generous lathering so the 30ml bottle goes a long way. I would highly recommend this product if you are after a good serum and a bonus is that it doesn’t test on animals.

I've not had any issues with a tacky feeling or pilling after applying (rare indeed)! I'm not positive that I've noticed any changes to my fine lines, but this little powerhouse serum has been a game changer in the overall hydration and texture of my skin. I've been using this nightly and skin in extremely smooth, clear and even. A new favourite in my 'glass skin' routine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this whole range - From the light "turkish delight" scent to the amber glass packaging with matte labelling. I have found these to be incredibly moisturising and have noticed how even over night they hold the moisture. I wake up with my skin still feeling moisturised and plump! I love the Vitamin B3 in this and the fact that the serum helps with uneven skin tones and general overall pigmentation. This particular serum doesn't feel sticky which I like, I find it had a slight tackiness to it at the beginning, however, disappears after a minute or so. Overall, this product is great. It hydrates the skin whilst targeting fine lines and wrinkles like in claims to. The plumping agent it has, is probably the highlight of this product.

I have the 'mask of pregnancy' pigmentation on my face and it is still noticeable. After the first night of application, the next morning I could see my skin brighter, smooth, hydrated and glowing. I'm still using it and my pigmentation isn't as prominent, my partner asked if I have been exfoliating as my skin was looking so refreshed. The serum is light, easy to apply and seems to last a while. The price is super reasonable and I will be continuing to use the product. My pigmentation hasn't disappeared altogether and nor was I expecting that to be the case but I am really happy with the results and defiantly recommend.
