Rated 4 out of 5 by xClaudia from Good basic moisturiser I tried this as part of the Natural Beauty month trial - thanks BH! The packaging is nice (glass jar). The fragrance however is something I'm not sold on. I wish I knew how to describe it - all I can say is although it is very subtle, it is something I personally find a bit off-putting. Fortunately it's no longer noticeable once it's on your face and absorbed. That of course brings me to my next point. This moisturiser absorbs effortlessly as it is lightweight and the texture is about what you would expect of a simple moisturiser. For my normal to dry skin, I find this moisturiser to be reasonably effective. Truthfully, it's not something I would reach for over my favourite moisturisers but it's not a product I would hesitate to recommend for someone that has fairly normal skin and is looking for something simple. Unfortunately I haven't been using this long enough to be able to fairly comment on the anti-aging component.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Ellyloves from Age Renew Day Cream I love this brand, I've tried one of their face moisturiser before and I fell in love with the fragrance of it - pure shea butter scent. I love this day cream, I love the fragrance, it is so inviting, I just want to keep reapplying it and I look forward to applying it on my face. I love the texture as well, it is providing me with enough moisture in my skin to keep me sane. The texture is between thick and thin, perhaps more towards the thick side but in saying that it goes on really smoothly and it spreads really easily and it absorbs quickly into my skin after I've cleansed my skin. It makes my skin feel really soft and nourished. Pairing this day cream with a facial oil, I feel like I can conquer my day. Also throughout my day, my skin feels like it has enough moisture.

This glow lab day cream comes in a glass jar which I personally prefer than plastic containers. The rose gold copper finish screw top lid gives it a very luxe feeling. The cream itself has a very mild yet refreshing fragrance. It is white in color and is thick but lightweight day cream. I tend to use heavy creams during winter months and this is a great balance between moisturizing as well as hydrating. The formula is thick yet absorbs in the skin almost instantly. There is no oily residue but my skin glows and is well moisturized after using this day cream. However I can not see any age renew benefits but my skin does feel soft and plump after regular usage. I have used it for more than a week now and loving the results. Its a great day cream with no negatives and is clean and green and so I would highly recommend it to everyone!

Rated 4 out of 5 by dimmieloves from LUXURY IN A TUB! I’m a lover of all other Glow Lab products I’ve tested, so I’m sure this will be a constant in my routine come time! I’m very thankful to BH for sending me this product as part of their Natural Beauty Month. I’ve only tested this product for a few days, so can not attest to long term results in terms of fine lines, however this is definitely soothing and provides phenomenal levels of hydration! My skin doesn’t look as red, and feels plump to the touch. The product itself comes in a luxurious and weight black glass jar that would make a stunning addition to any skincare shelfie! The cream is very creamy and blends beautifully into the skin. It pairs nicely with Go To’s Face Hero and they will be my HG pair for a Sunday Morning self care session! Make sure you let this product dry before applying your next, just to ensure no pilling on the face. I’m excited to continue using this product!

Rated 4 out of 5 by No Ovski from Would Recommend - Great Day Cream I was on the trial team for the Age Renew Soothing Day Cream, and would definitely recommend this product to others. I really like the scent and consistency of this product, as it is lightweight, non-greasy and found I could use it under my powder foundation easily, as it absorbs into the skin fast and well. I noticed this product moisturised my skin well too, despite the cold and dry air recently. I also like the jar and packaging of this product too, as it was weighted and allowed for easy access to the product. I have normal to oily skin and found it complemented my skin very well. In summary, I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a day cream without SPF (as I have found this hard to find at times), and for a day cream that is lightweight, non-greasy and easy to apply under powder foundation.

Rated 4 out of 5 by katshepsutt from Reduces redness, wish it contained sunsceen… Another lovely product that came in the Natural Beauty Month box, this Age Renew Soothing Day Cream is elegantly presented in a 50g dark brown glass jar with a metallic copper lid, and joy of joys, and expiry date on the label… The cream has a light consistency, but is deceptively potent and provided ample moisture for my dry winter skin without causing any pore congestion, which is something I’m prone to, especially when I change skincare products. It has a very mild fragrance, and overall the formula is a delight – it's vegan, cruelty- free, very smoothing and soothing, and I was delighted to see the usually reddish areas around my nose and chin had calmed down to a soft pink hue, and that was after only a few days use... I so enjoyed the opportunity to try this cream and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to my friends and family, however, it’s not something that I would normally buy as it contains no sunscreen. I need a day cream that includes 30 SPF as my skincare routine is already made up of five products…

I love that this day cream is free from parabens, sulphates, silicones, mineral oils, synthetic dyes and more. It is also cruelty free, vegan-friendly and recyclable. This moisturiser comes packaged in a 50g glass tub with a rose gold screw top lid. It’s quick and easy to use, simply apply daily in the morning after cleansing by gently massaging into the face and neck. It has a rich and creamy consistency with a subtle refreshing natural scent. This face cream absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling deeply nourished. It worked really well with my often sensitive skin and helped to reduce redness. Costing $35 for 50g it is a good price based on the high quality ingredients and results it delivers. I would happily recommend this product to anyone looking for a high quality day cream that is super hydrating.

I use glow lab hair products but this was my first opportunity to try a skincare product from them. It comes in a heavy duty glass tub and I would describe it as a medium weight cream, it's not as thick as some of the creams I have used on my dry sensitive skin. I expected it to contain more oils. It has a mild scent that is a essential oil blend but it's not specified what that includes. I would have loved to have had the time to trial this longer, I can't comment on any of the anti-ageing benefits it claims to have because I think it would take a while to show. It is great for my skins everyday use though. It contains some patented anti-ageing ingredients that help reduce redness and irritation too. I enjoy using this, and it does feel soothing when applied to my skin. i will keep using it and look forward to seeing what it does in the long-term.

It is lightweight and it absorbs into my skin rapidly after applying it. After using this cream, I feel my skin smoother and it has a refreshing light smell. It does keep my skin hydrated during this dry winter season. The cream contains a powerful blend of active anti-aging ingredients, however, so far, I have not yet seen any anti-aging effects like reduction in fine lines and wrinkles as I have not used this product for long enough to see the effect. On top of that, the product indicates that it contains MultiEx Rosanic that may improve the skin's natural barrier function on damaged skin by up to 40% after 7 days, reducing moisture loss. But it definitely hydrates my skin for hours as it contains the natural botanicals Sunflower Seed Oil, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, and plant extract betaine.

It's all made in NZ (so pretty close to local), all natural (nothing I don't want on my skin - this is now a must for me!), ethical and sustainable packaging (recycled and recyclable), all female owned and manufactured, and based very much on scientifically proven ingredients - it's really a lab! There are a lot of patented ingredients designed to help the skin look its best. The Soothing Day Cream, which I've been using now for about a week, contains loads of nice sounding stuff like sunflower seed oil, beet extract, liquorice root, blueberry extract, Ginko biloba, rosehip oil, shea butter, ginger root - the list goes on! I like the sound of all of those things and there are papers if you're so inclined to back up the efficacy of some of these on smoothing and calming skin, reducing moisture loss and wrinkles. I'm finding my skin to be quite soft, and although I have sensitive skin, I'm. not experiencing any breakouts or irritations, which is great. The cream itself is beautifully rich - a little moment of luxury (it's mid-range priced so not outrageous but not super cheap either), and smell is light and fresh - a soft floral with a hint of rosehip - very pleasant and doesn't linger or fight with other scents. Absorption is quick with a matte finish (almost instantly magnifying) that makes a terrific makeup base. My skin is pretty dry but I definitely found that this helped keep my makeup fresher longer. I also like the pretty glass jar which sets off the white cream and fits nicely into my bathroom scheme.

I've never heard of it before but having used it in the past and being gifted this day cream as part of Natural Beauty Month. I am am even bigger fan! This day cream comes boxed in a cardboard, inside is a lovely glass jar with a rose coloured lid. The jar contains a protective cover which is nice but also fiddly. I love the texture of the cream, its not too thick and absorbs nicely into my skin. I can see why it is called soothing as I can feel a slight tingle on my face but a good kind of tingle. This moisturiser is lovely as it is catered for sensitve skin and reduces redness. I do wish there was a sunscreen factor as I am rather time strapped in the mornings. This product is cruelty free, vegan and the jar is recyclable. I've yet to experience whether it fights the visible signs of ageing as I need more time to use this product. So far this day cream is lovely on my skin. No complaints from me! I am certainly feeling the "glow".

The cream is quite silky and creamy, it feels luxurious to use. It glides over the skin and absorbs rapidly, leaves the skin feeling deeply moisturised, soft and supple to the touch. It performs beautifully on top of and underneath other products, does not feel oily/greasy/silicone-y and does not ball up when applying other products on top of it. There is a slight scent to it from the rosehip and sunflower oils, it is very pleasant and does not linger long after application. The ingredients in this day cream are excellent, the quality for the price tag is fantastic. Thank you so much to Beauty Heaven and Glow Lab for the opportunity to trial the Glow Lab Age Renew Soothing Day Cream as part of Natural Beauty Month. My dry, wrinkled, damaged skin was raring to go at the sight of this product, especially after a hard, tiring winter. The cream is carefully packaged in a heavy, dark-coloured tub, which in turn fits snuggly into a protective box. Both the box and the tub are attractively presented with red and gold highlights on a white background. I wouldn’t store or use this in the bathroom as clumsy me would probably drop and smash the tub with greasy fingers, but in a carpeted room it would be safe enough. I loved the list of what was excluded from the product (including parabens, phthalates, synthetic dyes, mineral oil) and that it was not tested on animals. The ingredients list was almost good enough to eat, but a bit confusing. For example, ginger root extract has been renamed “SymRelief 100”. I prefer to call a spade a spade, as it is easier to understand. The cream itself has quite a light consistency and sinks completely into the skin in a matter of seconds. There was no greasiness or residual shininess evident. I loved the mild coconut type scent which on my skin continues to hover for quite a while without being overpowering. The cream is light enough to use in summer, but it definitely provides enough hydration for the winter. My skin felt beautifully soft after application, and this effect was ongoing. My sensitive skin did not react in any adverse way to the cream. Overall, I found this day cream was very effective at hydrating my skin. I’m not sure how well it would protect my skin as I was indoors throughout the testing period. As for reducing the appearance of wrinkles, I’m generally skeptical about those types of claims, although the cream would need to be used much longer than the trial period to test this out. Would I repurchase this day cream? Definitely! It is a natural and effective product and, although a bit pricier than some others, the 50 gm tub will last a long time and the cream is readily available.

You can't go wrong with this daily moisturiser. It has a lovely creamy texture and sinks into skin nicely. Leaves a natural and healthy glow to my skin and keeps my skin nourished and hydrated all day. It helps to soothe and calm redness and irritated skin.

The Glow Lab age renew soothing day cream comes in this round weighted jar with a bronze lid. The cream inside has a subtle botanical scent that is fresh and a little goes along way. The texture is light, but rich that you need to massage into skin well. It absorbs easily, sinks into skin nicely and leaves a comfortable matte finish. I found that it soothed my dry skin as it kept it calmed down redness and irritation, hydrated and nourished all day. I used this moisture in rotation with other products in my morning routine, but have found it best helps to calm down redness and irritation. This is suitable for dry, irritated skin including those with sensitive skin types. As for soothing fine lines, I can’t say this early on if it has made any difference, but with further continued use, this may change. For now, I do like this day cream as it’s gentle and calming for my skin. Great for sensitive skin types and those seeking anti-ageing moisturisers.

This is a day cream marketed towards those with anti-ageing concerns. I really liked that this product is cruelty free, vegan as well as being suitable for all skin types. The product is a cream, but the formulation is fairly light, does not feel heavy on application, and provides it with even moisture without leaving any tacky residue behind. I used this daily on my face and neck with no reactions or sensitivity. Whilst I did not notice any anti-ageing benefits, I think this is a good day cream for the summer months, where heat and humidity are high. For cooler seasons, I actually prefer a thicker cream, especially I feel that as I age, my skin only gets drier. Overall, this is a day cream that is well suited to those with normal skins. Those with dry skin or mature skins may find this formulation too light.

My first thought when I saw the size of the tube was that it looked like they were going for quantity over quality, and that was confirmed after a few uses. I found this cream very easily to over-apply. The same amount of this as my normal day cream was way too much and left a white cast all over my face. Additionally, when I cleaned my face there was still residue left that I had to go back over with a toner soaked cotton pad to remove. Everyone is different and their skin needs and product experience will vary greatly, but for me this day cream was a big no. The negatives really outweighed the positive. Not the worst day cream I've ever used. It did hydrate my skin and has some lovely ingredients, but it just didn't impress me enough to quit my other day cream.

The moisturizer has a creamy , rich texture , white colour and almost no smell ( yay) . It feels so good on the skin, literally melts and leaves no oily residue which is amazing for such a rich texture. It provides a great level of hydration that last the whole day. In the same time it is an excellent make up base. My only concern , there is no SPF , I prefer to use SPF products . I didn't use any sunscreen after this moisturizer , I just wanted to test it by itself , but I will definitely do. It contains plenty of natural ingredients and it is nasties free. It is a good product to use during the winter when the skin gets dry and needs that extra care , it is very nourishing, I really enjoy using it.

I really like the packaging of this product; a lovely rose gold coloured lid, and a glass jar holding 50 g of the day cream. The cream is not tested on animals and is vegan, which is a bonus as I often look for these products as my daughter is vegan and like to let her know about new products. The cream isn't too thick or thin, and it does not have much of a scent to it. I find it a little heavy as a face cream, but that may be because my current moisturiser is a lot lighter than this so I am not used to this one yet. As I haven't been using it that long, it is difficult to say whether this cream will live up to its claims of strengthening and protecting the skin.

To the scent that is truly suttle yet delicious. The texture of the cream is very smooth and not to mention how very nourishing the cream itself is. I have been using the age renew soothing day cream for around a week and have already started to notice and realise the true effects of this brilliant product. My skin feels soft, youthful and I was complimented for my “glow.” I said to the person that it is down to the fact I was lucky enough to be part of the Beauty Heaven Trial team. I sampled the product and have religiously used it daily since. This product is a winner and compliments and conditions my dry skin. I believe a transformation has taken place and I am so very pleased with this.

I have heard about this brand from other people and was happy I got a chance to try this. Good attractive tub well labelled and inner lid to seal the cream which is important to me so leaves nothing exposed. I could smell the cream had a high herbally scent upon opening which I think would be better if it toned down a bit as I was wary of an allergic reaction to some of the ingredients but luckily no irritations occured. I have dry sensitive skin and felt the consistency was good enough to apply on face/neck area in the morning and evening (overnight ) on dry cleansed skin. It felt creamy and full of moisture when applied without greasiness and absorbed instantly.I woke up with soft smooth skin so therefore happy this had good natural ingredients as dislike any synthetic fragrances absorbing throughout the night . I think this will suit normal to dry skin types, but test if overly oily or sensitive as it has essential oils in the ingredients.

This formula comes in a heavy glass jar with darkened tint that protects the product from uv light. Even though the scent is listed on the ing list, I feel no scent almost. Just a very faint scent of the ingredients. The cream is lightweight and does keep my skin moisturized, preventing it from drying out now in winter. Interestingly does not clog my huge pores (and it contains some coconut oil in there, but lower on the ing list) and it is great for my combo skin that is prone to dehydration and oiliness in summer and hot weather. Texture is beautiful, light and creamy. Absorbs well, I use small amount over my serum. Also does not ball up when I use something over (like tinted spf, concealer etc), so it is great as a makeup base as well. Very affordable, easy to find (in local Priceline and often on sale), great ingredients. Rated 3 out of 5 by M Ticehurst from Very light I just don't feel that the Glow Lab Age Renew Soothing Day Cream was enough for my skin. I used a pea sized amount and it did soak in really fast. However then my skin felt very tight and I had to put another moisturizer over the top. In the end I was putting on a serum before hand so that my skin felt ok. I do have mature skin and it is definitely dry through winter. Which of course made me think that a soothing age renew would be right for me. Wrong! Maybe it is better to sue it during summer when a lighter product is more usual. Let's face it you do not want heavy products on your skin during the hot summer months. So for me it just was not the right product at the right time. Yes it soaked in fast and did not leave a greasy residue but it wasn't moisturising enough for my skin.

So I only gave this two stars based on my experience, but I also have said I would recommend it because I think it would be really nice for skin dryer than mine. I didn't get to try it long enough but I love it's claim to reduce redness! That was probably the most appealing part for me. I am quite red toned and sensitive. Glow Lab are such a clean brand! No mineral oil, no parabens or sulphates. Just heaps of natural active ingredients! Gingko Biloba, rosehip oil, ginger, vitamin E. With all of this I'm sure it will improve skin. It comes in a black glass jar which I love! Less plastic and protects the cream from light. It has a really clean smell. No overpowering fragrance so it was really lovely to apply. I love the thick creamy texture! As I massaged into my face and decolletage after cleansing it distributed really well so only a small amount is needed (less than I used ie 5c piece size) to go a long way. The only thing is that it seemed to leave a film on my face, not all absorbed in so my face and even my fingers felt a bit greasy for a long time afterwards. Maybe I used way too much... Will test it more over the next few days.

This cream has a lovely texture, it absorbs easily and is very gentle on my skin. It is not at all greasy and feels very light, unlike some day creams that are so rich and heavy that they sit on the skin rather than absorb into it. The light texture of this day cream makes it suitable to wear under makeup up. I have combination skin and I have been using this day cream for about two weeks now but I have not noticed much difference in the appear of my skin and I feel like the texture of my skin is not as soft and smooth as it usually is. It definitely does not feel anywhere near as hydrated as it normally does. I don’t mind this day cream but I would not go out of my way to purchase it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Trackydacky from Luxurious cream, strong fragrance Thanks to Beauty Heaven and Glow Lab for allowing me to trial this product during Natural Beauty month. Unfortunately, this soothing day cream is not for me and it's all down to the fragrance. I can't tolerate certain scents and this one made me feel nauseous. I didn't try it on my face as I have sensitive skin and Rosacea and from past experiences know highly scented creams usually cause a reaction for me. I did try it on my neck, arms and back of hands and the cream made my skin feel soft and hydrated, it's really quite lovely and luxurious. The cream is white and medium consistency, and you don't need a lot. The jar is black glass and quite solid. The plastic lid is a screwtop and a beautiful rose gold colour. There is a white, plastic lip/seal under the gold lid to keep it fresh. The box has lots of information and is easy to read. There is a lot of nasty stuff left out and it's vegan and cruelty free. If not for the fragrance I would have given it either 4 or 5 stars, depending on the results of using it on my face. I showed my daughter and she took a sniff and absolutely loved it so it shows how much peoples opinions can vary. If Glow Lab made a fragrance free version of this I would probably purchase. Made in New Zealand.

I just couldn't tolerate it and I tried hard a few times. I love certain scents, but some scents can give me headaches and/or nausea and this one gave me nausea. On the plus side, I love the simple, but lovely packaging. Plenty of information on the box, a list of what it doesn't contain on one side and a list of ingredients on the back. I tried on my neck, arm and back of my hands and the cream felt soft, creamy and silky. I didn't want to risk it on my face as I have sensitive skin and Rosacea and from past experience, know creams that are strongly fragranced or quite rich will cause a reaction. I showed my daughter and she took a sniff and loved it, so this will be going to her.

I received this as part of the Natural Week Beauty Heaven trial. This product is also designed to reduce irritation and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. I love that all the ingredients are natural and promotes hydration and anti-ageing. There is no strong scent, the product itself is very light and fast absorbing. Non-oily and very hydrating. The packaging is beautiful and I can easily see myself carry this on my travels. I do love that this cream is suppose to be multi-functional, soothing, hydrating, creating a barrier for protection during the day. It really is an all in one day cream which is super convenient. Everything about this product is great. I have found that at the end of a long day, the hydration does drop off a bit. If there's one feedback, I'd love to see improvement in the lasting of the hydration.

I got the opportunity to receive the Natural Beauty Month set. The products are clean, green and sustainable. It's a quality product to use and good for the environment. I find the texture to feel very smooth and nice. It has a very calming soothing effect which is quite significant. It reduced irritation and redness quickly. I love that it protects against the damaging effects of environmental pollution. It matched the effectiveness of the other day creams I have. I will continue to use as I was satisfied with the results. The hydration lasted most of the rest of the day. It has many positive qualities that make this an appropriate cream for all skin types. It didn't leave any noticeable residue and has a good lightness feel.
