I liked to wear the undies at night, especially in the first few days of my period starting when I am most prone to leakage and found that I never leaked at all. The undies washed well and never smelled afterwards. I will buy more to last me an entire cycle.

First of all, the underwear themselves are so much less bulky feeling than wearing a pad - much thinner than I imagined they would be but still provided great protection. Really great for wearing overnight and not needing to worry. The fit was true to size. I would really recommend if you've been thinking about these to give them a go, I will be buying more!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The THINX Resubale Period Undies I trialed was a very comfortable fit and made of comfortable material to wear for an extended period. The wide waistband made the undies particularly comfortable and made me feel secure as I felt they would stand up to the extra weight from any leakage. I used these undies Post Partum for leakages all day long rather than for a period and they help up very well. Super easy as you can just machine wash rather than by hand. A good alternative to disposable pads all around and I would recommend them, especially from the comfort point.

I was concerned there would be leaks. There was no leaks, and they are easy to clean and hygienic. I would definitely recommend and will be buying a few more pairs after trialling these. I’m excited to not spend so much money on pads which take up so much room in landfill. I have already recommended this to my friends as one did mention wanting to try and move away from pads and was looking for recommendations on undies or cups. I’ve tried a cup and would much prefer the reusable undies.

They have honestly changed my life around that time of month. As someone who has an unpredictable and sometimes heavy period, the undies are so perfect. Put them on and just forget. I did notice that they felt a little odd when wearing them for the first time, but that quickly went away. There was also only one size available at my supermarket, which thankfully fit me well. I especially like pairing the THINX Reusable Period Undies together with a tampon on heavier days and alone on the last days. Kept me dry and not worried about frequent changing.

I coincidentally got my period on a big day out and I knew instantly I had to give them a go as I didn’t want to deal with changing disposable pads on the day. They were so comfortable to use and I felt good at the end of the day after no leaks at all! My first day is the heaviest and I took a backup pad with me but didn’t have to use it! 10/10 would recommend!

What I can say is of all the reusable period underwear/pads that I have, which include different styles and brands, I have found the U by Kotex period undies to be the most comfortable by far. They just feel the most like regular underwear. They are tight enough that they don't shift around but not so tight that they dig in. I especially love the wide waistband and that it doesn't feel like I'm wearing a nappy. The only downside is that I hate wearing my other period underwear now. Definitely buying more.

I remember the first day trying them feeling absolute dread about what could go wrong . I went to work and completely forgot my worries and that I was having my periods at all . Since they are very thin they look and feel just like regular underwear compared to other brands that felt very thick and more like a pad. I love to wear them overnight or on lighter days when I'm not sure if I still need protection. After the wear I just rinse the undies with cold water, wash them with my other clothes and air dry them.
