Directions

Apply morning and/or night to the face, eyes and lips with a cotton pad or directly with the fingertips. Tissue off gently without rubbing. If required use Avène Thermal Spring Water to rinse off. Suitable for use in children (aged 2 years and up) and adults.

My skin is a little sensitive lately but using this to remove make up does not flare up my skin and is quite effective. Highly recommended.

The container is easy to hold and the flip top Lynn is very convenient. The product is unscented and leaves my skin feeling Clean & fresh but it doesn't strip the natural oils from my skin. The directions say that there's no need to wash it off but I don't feel comfortable leaving cleanser and the grime it is supposed to remove on my skin so I wash it off with water. I find that it leaves no uncomfortable residue on my skin.

It doesn’t foam up which I love and has a neutral scent which is great. It is advertised as a no rinse cleanser however I always rinse it, I don’t like the thought of not washing it (and oil/dirt) from my skin off.

My child and I have extremely sensitive skin and we both suffer with eczema etc. I love how the Avene Tolerance Gentle Cleanser can be used on my ‘adult’ skin and also my son (5 year old) skin. My son and I are really prone to having that ‘dry’ and ‘tight’ feeling after having a bath, shower or washing our face and this product definitely doesn’t leave us with this feeling. Its comfortable, easy to use and family friendly! Highly recommend for any person (and parent) that is looking for a smart product to suit most family members with sensitive and dry skin!

The no rinse can be a bonus for some but I do prefer to rinse, with this cleanser you need to take it off with a cotton pad. It removes makeup but not completely and I feel I still need to use a toner afterwards.

This cleanser was great with no reactions on my combination skin, but a little wet for my liking - You only need to use a small amount to achieve the results you're after! Skin has been soft and clear since I started to use this.

This one has not stripped my skin as its so very gentle, although i found i had to double cleanse to remove all the makeup (but i do wear quite heavy makeup). A great basic gentle cleanser, would be great for youth starting out on their skincare journey.

At the time, my skin was really inflamed with hormonal acne and this was more gentle than my usual cetaphil cleanser - no sting, no burn. Super gentle! Although, when i didn't wash it off, i wonder if it really 100% removes any make up and grime from the day? It did remove a little oily shiny though, and my skin felt really smooth after using it.

Make my skin feeling fresh. I have combination skin, and felt like it could be more hydrating but I would recommend this for sensitive skin types for sure.

It leaves my skin soothed and clean, but as it's a no-rinse product it doesn't remove my full face of makeup and is best used as a second cleanse when I do wear a full face.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hydrating and Gentle When first using this product, I was concerned that my skin was going to break out as my skin felt slightly oily when finished, but after a few days I was delighted there were no such breakouts. Even though it can be used as waterless, I prefer to rinse off any residue partly due to my eye make up and large pores. I tend to use the product when I have a rosacea breakout as it helps soothe and hydrate the skin without furthering the inflammation. Another great product by Avene.

I found myself often use it for removing makeups before I wash my face with another cleanser, I am still getting use to the no rinse feature. this cleanser never over drying my skin, it feels light, natural and gentle, my skin can be very sensitive at the end of a busy day, this cleanser is perfect for calming my skin and providing the pre-clean that I need.

I typically reach for it in the morning and opt for an oil based cleanser of an evening just because it does a better job at removing eye makeup. However, if you're only a light/no makeup wearer or looking for an excellent gentle morning cleanser, I highly recommend!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Avene Tolerance Extremely Gentle Cleanser I have been using the Avene Tolerance Extremely Gentle Cleanser for a few weeks now and my skin feels very velvety instead of the tight feeling you get when using other cleansers. The Avene Tolerance Extremely Gentle Cleanser is applied with your fingertips and you then remove the remaining residue with a cotton pad. This is the only thing I disliked about the product as I like to use a cleanser that rinses off with water. This cleanser has a gel-lotion texture that’s slightly thicker than water which is creamy and soft to apply. It is fragrance free and does not contain any chemicals. When using the Avene Tolerance Extremely Gentle Cleanser, I had no irritation, no reaction and no discomfort. It definitely made my skin feel calm and less prone to showing any signs of stress. The Avene Extremely Gentle Cleanser is a lovely, gentle cleanser which is very efficient a removing makeup and daily grime.
