General Information

Ultra-nourishing, anti-irritation cleansing oil that provides 24 hours of comfort and hydration immediately after showering.

*Corneometry for 27 days on 52 volunteers aged 20 to 70 years with dry skin. **Use test for one week on 21 volunteers aged 18 to 70 with dry to very dry skin on the face and body, and sensitive and/or reactive skin on the face and body.

Atoderm Shower Oil soothes and protects against external stress thanks to its exclusive formula made up of plant biolipids, niacinamide and the Skin Barrier Therapy™ patent.
• Plant biolipids are lipids similar to those found in the skin and relieve the sensation of tightness, reduce irritations and strengthen the skin thanks to the intake of superfatting molecules which immediately recreate the skin's protective film.
• The Skin Barrier Therapy™ patent helps balance the microbiome on the skin's surface, helping to prevent the aggravation of skin dryness and reduce eczema flare-ups.
• Niacinamide encourages lipid production and helps restructure the skin barrier, which improves the skin's suppleness and durably restores comfort.
• Lipid-restoring agents, made up of plant biolipids and moisturising agents, ie. 33% of the formula, reinforce the moisturising and nourishing properties of this shower oil.

The DAF™ patented complex made up of biomimetic sugars soothes, hydrates, protects and increases the skin’s tolerance threshold.

Directions

For the shower or the bath, apply to wet skin and massage in to create a light lather. Rinse thoroughly. Gently pat dry. For even more effectiveness, supplement with an Atoderm treatment.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Price is on point After trying other brands in the same category I was interested in trying this 1. for the price point and 2. It’s a brand I’m familiar with . I experience breakouts all over, especially in the winter months when my skin is drier, they are not big breakouts but scattered. This product is extremely nourishing post-shower and has calmed my skin - it doesn't have to work so hard to replenish its natural oils and therefore I am guessing sebum levels are less over-active! I am really happy with how it makes my skin feel. It gently removes makeup really well, softens and picks up the dead skin cells and bacteria without irritating my skin and messing with my PH levels. All in all I think its great value for money and the fact that it can be used on the face and body and skipping a step in moisturising the body is a bonus.

Oil consistency, converting to foam (not super sudsy) on skin and does a wonderful job at cleansing skin (yes removes clinical deo as well). I’ve used it on my face too (yes a sin for many as I find myself cleansing my mug in shower) without any irritation or stripping my skin. Its wonderful for all members of my family (youngest to oldest!)

I've long been familiar with Bioderma products, which are generally very good for people who have sensitive skin, and I feel like I have stumbled across yet another exceptional goody from the brand! The Bioderma Atoderm Shower Oil comes in a clear bottle with a blue pump, and it contains about 200ml of product. I find about two pumps to be sufficient for the body, and I absolutely love the texture - thick, rich and smooth on the skin. This is meant to provide 24 hours' worth of hydration to the skin, while preventing irritation as it replenishes skin lipids. I love how well it works as a body cleanser, and in the short period of time I've been using this, I can honestly say it's love at first slide. My skin is feeling softer, and better moisturised with using this, and I would definitely get a second bottle!

My skin has become less dry and more smooth. Love this product

I find shower oils are essential to helping my skin stay properly hydrated and well looked after. The Bioderma Atoderm Shower Oil is really gentle on the skin and leaves you feeling hydrated afterwards & not greasy. It is so gentle in fact you can use it on your face and body which I appreciate. This oil does have a light scent to it but it has not caused any irritation in the slightest. I have not broken out either from using this oil. I highly recommend trying it if you have dry or sensitive skin it is such a great, affordable option!

This shower oil applied to damp skin lathers up beautifully and it has completely nourished my skin, and calmed any irritation. It feels so amazing to have finally found a product that cleans my skin without drying it out. It also feels so luxurious to use. Within a few days of using it, my skin now looks happy and healthy, ready for summer. This product is great value for money and now a beauty essential to my daily regime.

I have used this product and I have really, really dry skin and so has my baby who currently has eczema. This has improved our skin, it has moisturised and hydrated, My baby’s skin isn’t so red and the eczema has dramatically improved.

The scent is delish and lingers after your shower. My skin feels so nice and smooth without any oiliness. Added bonus is that is created for sensitive dry skin without blocking pores or breaking out in a rash. Highly recommend.

This product has literally cut my routine 90 per cent! I love how the product feels on my skin and it really does nourish and has improved the texture of my skin in the first week!! You’re skin will smell like a field of flowers , overall really happy with this product! I also use it on my face to breakdown long wearing make up. Just one squirt will clean your whole face and leave it feeling like a baby’s bottom after use.
