Elucent Anti-Ageing Day Moisturiser SPF 30 is a triple action moisturiser that helps to visibly reduce wrinkles with AHAs, maintain skin hydration & protect your skin from the damaging effects of the sun.

Elucent Anti-Ageing Day Moisturiser SPF30 is a triple action moisturiser that helps to visibly reduce wrinkles, maintain skin hydration & protect your skin from the damaging effects of the sun.
The key ingredients across the Elucent range, AHAs (Alpha Hydroxy Acids) are exfoliating and moisturising compounds. AHAs remove dry, dead skin through chemical exfoliation, helping to reveal visibly smoother and younger-looking skin. As more dead skin cells are shed, the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles is reduced.


AHAs may make your skin more sensitive to sunlight. Now, more than ever, it is essential to guard your youthful skin. Elucent Anti-Ageing Day Moisturiser contains an SPF 30 broad-spectrum sunscreen to help protect against UVA & UVB radiation while the AHAs continue to work on helping to improve the appearance of the skin. Protect your skin by avoiding prolonged sun exposure. Do not stay too long in the sun, even while using a sunscreen product. To further reduce risk of sun damage or premature ageing, cover up with clothing, hats & eyewear.

Directions

It is important to begin slowly by introducing the lowest level of AHAs to the skin before moving to the higher levels.

About 5 years ago I started using the night cream as I felt my skin needed something a little richer, I love the tingle it gives, I can feel it working. I had a facial a few months ago, and had a photo taken to look at sun damage, she said my skin was the best she had ever seen. 38 years old and will continue to use elucent.

I have weighed my new bottle and the one that I can no longer get any product out of (despite being able to see plenty in the bottom of it) shows that almost a quarter of the product is not accessible. That is incredibly frustrating to me!!

The pump operation and badly shaped container are just over complicated. Once the pump stops dispensing the lotion there is still about 1/10 of the lotion left in the container. The only way to get it is dismantle the container., ridiculous! Elucent, why don't you sell it in a tub?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from EFFECTIVE PRODUCT IF SOMEWHAT OVER-PRICED I have been using this product on and off over the last few years. I recommended to my mother as an easy fuss-free way to incorporate AHA's into her skin-care routine. The product wear and texture is pleasant. It absorbs into the skin readily, moisturises beautifully and also exfoliates the skin with 2% Lactic Acid & 2% Gylcolic Acid, making a 4% AHA complex in total. The inclusion of Niacinamide is generous also, this is a fantastic multi-tasking cell-communicating ingredient. Packaging is O.K, kind of plastic-ky, the pump dispenser works well but a bit annoying at the end when your trying to get every last bit out so it would be great if this product came in a convenient tube. My only beef with this product is the inclusion of Fragrance/Parfum at a high amount. It is strong enough to notice and a bit too much. This is why I've stopped using the product, I don't think it's acceptable to wear an exfoliating sunscreen which is essentially what this is, that contains strong fragrance. Would be great if EGO Elucent made a fragrance-free version!

I think it would be less wasteful/better for the environment if it were presented in a tube or some other form of container.

You can barely feel it on your skin- but thats when you don’t apply enough. You CAN’T apply enough. It pills extremely easily. It pills over other products, it pills under other products, it pills on ITSELF, it pills when layered on itself, and it pills when applied gently too. The filters aren’t able to form a proper cast over the skin to protect from UV. This wouldn't be too much of a problem if it was more affordable, but it costs as much, if not more per mL of La Roche Possay sunscreens. I do not expect a product with this price-point to pill so bad, especially when everything else about it is near perfect.
