Also has a lovely yet subtle smell. Easily accessible to purchase. Will defiantly re purchase. love that you can get this on sale at your local chemist, unlike the more expensive luxury brands. Layers well under moisturizer. I also like to use during the day sometimes for extra hydration when needed. Went and purchased it for my mother 60, and she also loved it . Woke up looking refreshed and hydrated the next morning after my first use .

Rated 4 out of 5 by HDEE from Luxurious The Midnight Serum is lightweight and luxurious. It absorbs quickly and leaves a non-greasy, non-sticky finish. The dropper application allows for easy control of dosage (3-4 drops recommended). I have noticed an improvement in my skin texture and it is leaving my skin feeling soft and plump, it is lightweight and comfortable to wear with a pleasant scent. If you are looking for a night serum to boost hydration and target early signs of aging, this serum is definitely worth a try, though a little on the expensive side.

I used other L'Oreal Paris serum before but this one is targeting more mature skin. The serum itself has a golden colour and a subtle fresh scent that only lasts few seconds. It absorbs into the skin straight away. I use it in the evening after cleansing and my skin feels plumped and soft in the morning. While I didn't notice a huge difference regarding the wrinkles or fine lines , I still believe it's a very good product due its light texture and hydration it provides.

My skin felt smooth but not greasy and seemed to be plumped up. I only needed a small amount to cover both my face and neck. What I didn’t like was you can’t see how much product is left because the bottle is dark, but L’Oreal Paris Age Perfect Cell Renewal Midnight Serum looks like an expensive product! I received L’Oreal Paris Age Perfect Cell Renewal Midnight Serum as part of a trial team but I still think the product is a reasonable price. I didn’t like when it ran out! I’ll now be buying a new bottle! I think it’s a great product for older skin as it was rich and luxurious but still light and non greasy, L’Oreal Paris Age Perfect Cell Renewal Midnight Serum absorbs quickly without being greasy. A big thumbs up from me .

The serum is delivered by using a dropper – for me the dropper was just not right. You had to work hard to get the 3-4 drops of product into the dropper – that was the only drawback I had. The serum applied morning or night nourished my skin and gave it a very healthy and glowing. There is a slight fragrance in the serum, once applied to your face it dissipates very quickly, no lingering fragrance. I used this all over my face, neck and around my eyes. The 30ml bottle lasted for around 4 weeks using it both morning and evening. It absorbed very quickly into my skin, and on occasions I did not follow up with a moisturizer or night cream. Great to wear under foundation, no piling, just soft, dewy and glowing. On comparison with a few other serums, I have tried this is great value for money.

First thoughts were what premium bottle this has. I love the shape and gold on it. Really makes it feel Iike it’s worth the money! It has a nice dropper which makes it easy to dispense only my skin. The product has a nice texture and smell which absorbed into the skin well. I used this product morning and night for 4 weeks and really noticed how much smoother my skin was and it just seemed to have more of a glow to it. This is a product I will keep using as I love to notice a difference with my skin. It might seem expensive but the bottle will last a long time and it does make you skin seem smoother and makes a difference.

A simple jar with a stopper on top. I will say the dark colour of the bottle does make it a little difficult to figure out how much of the product is left. Which could make you run short unless you have another bottle prepared! The dropper made it very easy to get out just the right amount. So a couple of drops were applied to my face at night after cleansing. I followed it with a night moisturizer. But when I forgot to add my moisturizer, I still felt my skin was fine. Not tight at all. Now my skin has grown dry with age so I was impressed. My skin has felt as though it has plumped up while using the midnight serum. My pores didn't clog with using the product either which can easily happen with a product that moisturizes and plumps up the skin. So overall it was easy to use due to the inbuilt dropper unit, and keeps you skin in good stead.

I was excited to receive my acceptance email and even happier to receive the parcel in the post. . You can't miss that this is a L'oreal product when looking at the cardboard packaging, it's eye-catching, something I've come to expect from L'oreal products. The glass bottle inside is stunning. I love the look of it, plus the darker glass aids in keeping the active serum ingredients inside fresh. I am 52 and my skincare routine happens morning and night and includes at least, if not more than 5 products. I slipped this gorgeous serum in after my cleanse, tone, mask(every 2-3 nights), essence, and before my moisturiser, facial oil and eye cream. It worked very well with the current brands I'm using, there was no balling of products on my skin. The glass bottle comes with a dropper lid, which was the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5. My dropper didn't work properly inhaling the serum, so I had to use the dropper a few times to get enough serum for my face. The serum is a lovely consistency, and although it's described as lightweight, my super-dry skin found the liquid really hydrating, which makes or breaks a product for me, I need the hydration and moisturisation. L'oreal's Age Perfect Cell Renewal Midnight Serum spread easily over the surface of my skin and I could immediately feel the hydrating effects, the firming effects and the smoothing effects. The serum left my face feeling like velvet. It had a nice scent to it too, which is also a plus. This trial allowed me to trial the serum for 3-4 weeks, which gave me the time to try it out with my other products and to trial it on my face. I hate providing feedback on a product when I've only been given a week or two to use. I didn't experience any negative effects using this. I love discovering new beauty products, so always have a few of each product on the go at one time but I actually think I will purchase this once it runs out, I am that impressed with it. Thanks L'oreal for a gorgeous serum that helps my skin look it's best.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The L’Oréal Midnight Serum impressed me from the packaging at first sight, in it’s sleek dark bottle with gold finishing touches and a nice glass weight to it. It feels like a luxury product and sits impressively on your skincare shelf. The product itself is easy to dispense the required amount of 3-4 drops with the pipette, and being a serum it’s a lovely smooth consistency straight out of the bottle. The serum has a soft scent, but the smell does not linger when on your skin. I find this is helpful as I’m quite sensitive to scents in products but had no issues with this. The serum glides easily over your face and neck and absorbs quickly leaving your skin feeling replenished without any greasy or oily residue. I found that the product was so hydrating and nourishing I could go to bed with just this product on and my skin would still feel refreshed and plump in the morning. When I did pair it with moisturiser it layered well without pilling or grabbing in any way. With consistent use over 4 weeks I found my skin visibly brighter, plumper and more hydrated, and work colleagues even made a point to mention how nice my skin was looking. I would definitely recommend this product for someone who’s looking to start introducing a serum for more hydration and skin renewal for overnight recovery of their skin.

The first thing that struck me about this serum is the packaging. The bottle is heavy glass and looks luxe. The dropper dispenses the perfect amount of product. The serum itself is quite viscous and feels very silky on the skin. It is absorbed quickly and smells good. My skin felt immediately hydrated and plumped. With continued use I saw a softening of my fine lines and my skin looked soft and glowy. I think this serum represents excellent value for money and outperforms much more expensive products I have used. I would not hesitate to recommend the midnight serum or repurchase it for myself.

The smell is lovely and clean (unlike some other overpowering floral scents) and I feel like my skin has appeared plumper and smoother. The texture isn't sticky at all, absorbs quickly and my skin felt smooth after application. The applicator is fairly easy to use, although I did find once the bottle is about 2/3 full you might need to work a little harder to access the product. I'd definitely recommend this serum if you're looking for a more budget-friendly serum alternative. Although it may not stack up completely to other more expensive serums, I will happily continue to use this and will purchase it myself after I finish the bottle!

The serum comes in a heavy feeling glass bottle that looks a little old fashioned however I loved the gold accents that really adds that luxurious feeling. I also loved that the bottle was tinted a dark colour to ensure the product inside stayed fresh for longer. The packaging includes a dropper which was great however I would've preferred glass rather than plastic here. The serum itself is a peachy tone and was easy to smooth over the face. My face absorbed the product quickly and it was easy to add in to my usual skincare routine. After using this serum both as part of my morning and evening skincare routine my skin feels more hydrated and plumped. I was very impressed with this product and was surprised something this nice was sold at the drugstore. I will be looking out for the product and any other products in the line in future.

I definitely felt more confident while wearing less make up and received multiple compliments that I looked “refreshed”. The texture of the serum felt luxurious and had a non-greasy finish that can be hard to come by in a serum. The dropper dispensed the perfect amount of product and the glass bottle looks elegant on my dressing table. The only downside is the product contains fragrance which can be an irritant.

I too was a sceptic, till it happened right before my own eyes. L'Oreal's Age Perfect Midnight Serum is opulence on a budget. This serum is presented in a 30ml eye dropper style bottle that is quite funky in design. It looks great on the bathroom counter. Instructions state to use 3 drops in the evening after cleansing and toning. I made sure the eye dropper was completely full to fulfil those 3 drops every time perfectly when it dispenses out. I found the 3 drops of serum the perfect amount to cover my entire day, neck and decolletage. It smooths over the skin easily and soak's into my skin very quickly without any tacky residue left behind. And the light scent of the product is just perfect before bed. I found after the first use that my skin felt lovely. But to see optimum results it took about 2 weeks of continual use to see the real difference from the first use to the 15 use. My skin appears more smooth and supple and the radiance of my skin is off the charts. I was thoroughly appreciative and blown away by what was happening. Everyday there after has just been a thorough blessing with how my skin is coming along in leaps and bounds. I'm of mature age so to see results like this makes this ole girl very happy indeed. I will definitely purchase again and tell all my other mature age friends about this little bottle of midnight magic.

The serum comes in a classic luxe little glass bottle with a dropper. At first this reminds me of ANR by Estée Lauder but a more affordable version and it’s certainly a good starting point. This serum currently retails for $59.95. What I noticed was and it was a set back for me was the fragrance it was quite strong; the scent reminded me of perfume and I had to scale back the amount of drops on my face as my skin couldn’t handle the smell and I was worried I would get a reaction. This serum is targeted to 40years and over. I am currently 35yrs of age. The serum is a nice creamy colour and the texture has a little thick consistency too and that made it a little bit hard to dispense at first; however it was easy to apply. I have noticed my skin has lifted it’s game from dull to hydrated and the serum has kept me glowing.

I love the packaging; it is very luxurious. I only use a couple of drops twice a day - in the morning and evening. It quickly glides over skin and absorbs immediately. My skin feels hydrated and moisturised, and the overall appearance of my skin has improved. The serum is not greasy nor sticky and it is very easy to apply. Unfortunately, the serum didn't help to reduce my wrinkles, but my skin looks healthier and brighter. I will definitely keep using the serum and will buy it again. I can recommend it to anyone 50+.

The packaging is nice, coming in a textured glass bottle with a pipette, and is reminiscent of the Estee Lauder serum. The serum itself is really nice and lightweight, without being so lightweight that it absorbs so quickly it disappears, leaving skin feeling hydrated and smooth. I have blemish-prone combination skin with an oily t zone, with some hyperpigmentation. I have been impressed with how the serum hydrates where needed without creating congestion or breaking me out, and my skin feels plumper and smoother after having used this nightly. My only wrinkles are the fine lines around my eyes, and these are beginning to soften which is encouraging. Having reached the end of the trial period, I will definitely continue to use this, and look forward to alternating with a gentle encapsulated retinol to further improve tone and texture, and to ensure any reduction in fine lines is real progress and not just superficial plumping from the hyaluronic acid within the serum. My only concerns with the product is the inclusion of denatured alcohol, which can be quite drying for some, and fragrance, however my 65 year old mother who has dry, sensitive skin has also tried this a few times and has had no problems, so these may only be noteworthy for those with very reactive skin.

The packaging is sleek and modern, and dare I say it, has a touch of Estée Lauder about it with its heavy brown bottle. The bottle feels expensive. It loses a star for the pipette. It was hard to use and I ended up unscrewing and putting in my hands. The serum itself was lovely. Silky and smooth and not greasy. I used it day and night for two weeks and felt my skin was slightly plumper, and well hydrated. You don’t need much so would be in the good value price range for quality and consistency. I would recommend this to people who wanted a slightly dewy look to their skin and wanted to add a layer of goodness to their routine.

The bottle is a good size that is easy to manage and fits perfectly in my hand, it also dispenses enough in 1 pump for 1 application. cleaver and product saving. The serum, it is lightly scented and lite in texture, not greasy oily or heavy on the skin, I experiencedno breakoutsusing this new serum. My skin loved the product quickly absorbing leaving my skin feeling instantly plump and wanting more. After using for 4 weeks my skin looks refreshed, smoother, healthier with a new radiant looking glow. Thanks BH and L'Oréal.

On receiving the product I was impressed with the black and gold packaging. But, although it was easy to read information about the serum and how to apply I found it difficult to read the ingredients of the serum. I checked the website to find this information. On opening the serum is contained in a shapely bottle varying in colour from brown to black with gold lid and label. The screw type top is very easy to open and the plunge type dropper is easy to use and allows you to get the right amount of serum that is required. The serum itself is a pale orange/cream colour. I imagine it gets the colour from the citrus orange ingredient. On application the serum is very silky and smooth and evaporates quickly in to the skin. Although the information on the packaging indicates cell "optimal activity occurs at night, the peak starting at midnight" directions state to apply each morning and night. Whilst testing I sometimes applied twice as instructed and sometimes only at night. Despite this I found that the areas especially around my eyes and mouth appeared to be smoother after use. With the application being so easy and the positive results I will continue to use this serum.

The L'Oreal Cell Renewal Midnight Serum was beautiful to trial,and here's why.This beautiful, lightweight yet powerful serum (and it is beautiful....from the stunning gold box it came in,to the heavy, smokey amber bottle with golden dropper used to dispense the prescious amber fluid with a very delicate scent inside) gave my skin a lovely,rested and glowy look after only two weeks use ( every night) and noticeabley reduced fine lines and facial puffiness with a slight change in the firmness of my skin after around 21 days ( not enough to truly feel "lifted to pre 30's",but enough to see cheeks looking a little more defined,my eyes a little less heavy),and my skin did show a definite glow ( perhaps from the "antioxidant recovery complex" which consists of two antioxidants... including vit E) that I appreciated in the morning.What I mostly noted was the lovely hydration...as someone who has a more mature,drier skin,i appreciated the "drink of water for the skin"feel this gave me ( as opposed to the feeling of greasiness or heaviness that some serums can give...this was rich and hydrating,with only a few drops from the easy to use drop applicator needed,yet very comfortable to wear).At around 60 dollars for the 30ml bottle,it is in the mid price point for a serum,yet it feels like a much more exxy product.I recommend this "midnight secret" to anyone over 35 who needs a little help with their beauty sleep.Oh,and I might add that even hubby loved this serum and noticed some softening of his deeeeper lines and a dewiness that left his skin looking a little younger...great pre bed and post shave.

I am always interested in a serum that is going to do the heavy lifting in my skincare routine, it's what I rely on for my aging late 40s skin. You could probably imagine how excited I was to be invited to trial the L’Oréal Paris Age Perfect Cell Renewal Midnight Serum. This serum has been formulated with L'Oreal's unique Antioxidant Recovery Complex which promises to boost skin cell turnover at night providing radiance to the skin. The serum comes in a tinted amber bottle that I love the look of. Delivery of product is thanks to a dropper. Not my fave because I have a tendency to be clumsy, but made even worse because the dropper only dispenses a drop at a time. The serum has a light consistency and is fragranced. I am not a fan of fragrances in skincare, but can forgive this product because I like how it smells plus it doesn't linger too long. A few drops is enough for my face and neck. The serum absorbs very quickly into my skin, feeling dry to the touch and leaving no residue. I find that I can get away with not using a moisturiser or facial oil because my skin feels suitably hydrated, however applying products following this serum has not been an issue. My skin loves this serum. It does a fantastic job when it comes to hydration, this in turn plumps out fine lines and I wake up with fresh more radiant skin. The L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect Cell Renewal Midnight Serum is easy to use and delivers results. It would be the perfect product if the dropper dispensed more product, but aside from that, this serum easily rivals more high end products.

The bottle itself is so elegant and classy, easy to hold, use and apply. I followed the instruction to the letter, applied 3 to 4 drops to my clean face and neck every morning and night. The liquid was smooth and easy to apply and spread well. After 1 week my skin was definitely hydrating and after 4 weeks there was even more improvement, not necessarily with wrinkles, now that would be some kind of miracle, definitely with making my skin feel totally hydrated as it was dry dry dry beforehand. I would totally recommend anyone to use this miracle worker.

First thing, the packaging of this serum is definitely a show stopper. It’s glitzy, the art deco style looks gorgeous in my bathroom and the dropper is perfect to dispense the right about of serum. I used this product over my bare skin and found that it improved the texture and hydration levels immediately. Love the smooth feel and the serum was excellent at absorbing quickly with no greasy residue. The serum has a pleasant fragrance however I prefer no fragrance in my facial products. I have not seen any major permanent changes in fine lines/wrinkles yet, however the improved moisture levels from using the serum has softened the appearance somewhat. Overall, a lovely serum, and I believe it is regularly discounted at various retailers which makes the price rather reasonable. A definite try if you have issues with older or dry skin!

I accepted eagerly maybe because I just wanted to give it a go. I already have some serums but decided to try this too. I would rather the bottle is a lighter colour but there's nothing wrong with it. The price is not cheap however this is normal for a serum like this. I find the shiny glass bottle with square like shapes appealing. The squirter top worked fine. I liked the good way it felt on my skin. I would continue using in future if I want my skin tone to be improved. The brand is really likeable which is reliable. It renews my skin cells overnight. It makes my skin more smooth and radiant.

I've been using the serum for many weeks now, have enjoyed the product and trial and without further adieu, here are my thoughts: PACKAGING: The glass bottle comes packaged in a cardboard box which looks fairly typical of most L'Oréal skincare products - a photo of the product that's inside and L'Oréal logo and product name. If I'm being picky, I'd say the outside packaging is a bit 'busy' which detracts slightly from its sophistication but it's only a minor observation. Out of the box, the serum is packaged in a faceted glass bottle, blackish-brown at the top graduating to a sepia-tan base. The ombre effect is stylish as is the bevelled squares design giving it a luxe look. The gold rim of the stopper lid and gold minimalist label also add to the elegance of the packaging and I was happy to see it's also made of 25 percent recycled glass. The bottle feels solid and easy to hold in the hand and the edging on the glass adds some traction to help avoid slippage. The eye-dropper lid is easy to use - just squeeze the rubber on the lid to draw the product into the catchment tube. However, as you use more of the product, it does become a little harder to draw the product into the stopper and does require a few attempts. Generally, doing this twice gave me enough product to cover my face and neck area. Some product can accumulate around the top of the glass so a little wipe every now and then may be required. PRODUCT: I was very interested to read about the science behind this product on the packaging and how the serum stimulates 'Mother Cells' - the source of new skin cells (that become less active as we age). This renewal peaks at midnight and so the serum aims to support this process of regeneration with its 'Antioxidant Recovery Complex'. I thought that I would use this as a night treatment but the packaging suggests using it in the morning too so I did both though only needed two drops and not 3-4 as suggested as a little goes a long way. The pale pink serum has a slickness to it but is not oily at all and readily absorbs. It has a light fruity-floral fragrance that is pleasant and unobtrusive. PERFORMANCE: On application, the serum immediately hydrates leaving skin satiny smooth. Before I started using this product, my skin had become very dry and it has completely restored moisture while being gentle on my sensitive skin. I see a radiance and a brightening and perhaps some firming too but generally my skin looks healthier and I think more youthful. Overall, I think this is a quality product with interesting science that at the end of the day seems to work. Would definitely recommend it!
