Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gentleness in a bottle [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you beautyheaven for the chance to trial L'Oreal Age Perfect Cell Renewal Midnight serum. Various L'Oreal products have been in my daily skin care regime for a long time but I was yet to try a serum but was always keen too as lots of promotions for in the media. I use a serum in the morning and night before moisturising and continued this with the L'Oreal Midnight serum. The serums texture was creamy and lovely to apply. There was no strong smell either. My skin felt soft and plump after application. The dropper application was easy to use and apply. The glass bottle looked fancy but I do prefer containers where you can see how much product is remaining. Overall a lovely serum from L'Oreal That my skin soaked up. I would consider incorporating this serum into my skin care regime. The serum is on the higher end of cost compared to other serums I use but still a lower cost then many other well known brands.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Feels so lovely on my skin [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to be part of this product trial. I’m now in my mid-late thirties and therefore anti-ageing products are very appealing to me. The first thing I noticed about this product was how beautiful it looked. The packaging feels and looks expensive. I wondered whether the design of the dark bottle was purely for looks or whether the product contained required a dark bottle to house it. Either way, it looks great. One downside, which is a big one, is that it makes it very hard to determine how much product is left inside. I have used this serum morning and night for the last month. It’s very simple to use. I use about 3 drops of the serum to apply to my face and neck. It’s an orange coloured serum with a light scent that is not overpowering at all. It feels so so nice on the skin. My face is really soft after wearing it, and just looks radiant. I honestly think it will take me a little longer to see if it has improved the appearance of my fine lines. It might be too early to tell on my skin. I don’t have deep set wrinkles but do have lines around my eyes and crinkles along my forehead. The product states it will replenish your skins cells and promote turnover and thus your skin shall appear brighter and lines appear reduced. I really like this serum and plan to use it until it runs out. I hope by then I will make a decision as to whether it will remain in my routine going forward. Thanks!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bright and soft [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried L’Oréal Paris Age Perfect Cell Renewal Midnight Serum as part of a trial team. I was really excited to try, I love a good serum and this one did not let me down. The packaging is nice, elegant although I did find the dropper a little annoying at first. You need to use 3 drops morning and night and I found the dropper wouldn’t give me the right amount in one pump, meaning I would have yo go back for more. But it was worth it. The serum is a little thicker than most, could explain the dropper issue. It is soft and absorbs quickly. Having used this for a few weeks I have found it works well under moisturiser and also over something like a vit C serum. It is so versatile. My skin is soft and has a nice bounce to it. It feels like it has been nourished each time I use the serum. It has a very pleasant smell which settles quickly as the product is absorbed. I will absolutely continue to use this, I have been lazy in covid and don’t wear much make up day to day while I work from home. This serum has given me the confidence to do this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Midnight serum [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got to be a part of the L'Oreal age perfect cell renewal midnight serum. I love being able to try new skincare products and this one looked really nice. It came in a glass bottle with a dropper. It has a dark colour which I wasn't crazy about. A dropper is good in the beginning but it becomes hard to use once there is less product in the bottle. I have to tip it out instead to get the last bits of product out. Onto the serum, I was expecting it to have a clear, light consistency but it turned out to be somewhat creamy and had a creamy/light peach colour to it. I applied it on a damp face after cleansing and gently rubbed it in. It's non sticky and it absorbs fairly well, nothing uncomfortable about it. I've been using it for several weeks now and from what I can see, my skin does look a bit brighter and more even. Looking at the ingredients, the only thing that really stands out is salicylic acid. My skin looks more radiant but I cannot say that it feels more firm. It's hydrating but it's probably not hydrating enough if you have dry skin so I would suggest using a moisturiser on top. My final thoughts on the serum, it's good but i didn't notice anything with firming my skin or assisting with 'cell renewal'.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A rich serum [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the L'Oreal Age Perfect Cell Renewal Midnight Serum as part of the trial team. This serum is much thicker than other serums and only two or three drops are required to apply on a clean face and neck as the richness of the serum allows it to spread very easily. There is a very distinct essence to this yellow serum but it dissipates very quickly when applied to the skin. The serum is recommended to be used both in the morning and evening on clean skin and then normal routine is applied. In the first two weeks of the trial I only used the serum and did notice a great improvement in the quality of my skin and after another two weeks and using moisturiser as well I have noticed my fine lines have decreased. The deeper lines still appear but not as prominent but that is due to my mature age. The bottle is opaque so it is difficult to see how much is left. The dropper only seems to allow collection of two or three drops which is sufficient. Only the fragrance and the inability to see how much product is left has reduced my point score from 5 stars. A great addition to the Age Perfect range of products for the more mature users.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Age Perfect Cell Renewal Midnight Serum [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Midnight serum More like a thin moisturising cream than a serum, I loved this product and applied it each evening on my face. Felt like silk going on and rubbed in easily, no greasy residue, no shiny oily face. My skin felt hydrated and I felt no need to reapply before going to bed. The only negative being the eye dropper dispenser. I found this difficult to use as the serum wasn't easily sucked up into the dropper, only a tiny drop at a time, although came out ok and was a hygenic method of applying the product. Overall I will definitely continue using this product as I feel my skin is benefiting from the change in moisture levels to go with the change in seasons. A lovely lightweight, silky yet non-oily hydration boost for my face. Very happy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Midnight Serum [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very thankful to have a received this beautiful bottle of L'oreal Cell Renewal Midnight Serum. I do like serums and this one has improved my skin tone. It looks more supple and refreshed. The dropper makes it easy to dispense only two or three drops. I do not like to waste. I like that I can warm in my hands and then run into my face and décolletage. The brown bottle has a luxury look to it with squares and a three dimensional effect. It reminds me of the 70’s, not that I was born then but from what I have seen in movies. I will buy with my own money, when this bottle runs out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cinderella would love this serum... [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Chuffed to receive this to trial – I know that L’Oreal makes excellent skincare products, so for me, this was already a winner before I opened the box... Brown glass is so practical for maintaining product efficacy; however, it can be pretty boring. But not in the hands of the innovative folks at L’Oreal though - they’ve managed to turn boring into beautiful! The bottle is faceted almost Art Deco style with a ritzy gold trim, and what a clever idea to reverse the ombre shading with the lightest part is at the base so I can see when the product level is getting low – love it! There’s a standard dropper cap that screws on tightly, but more on that later... The pale gold serum is quite thick but spreads effortlessly and has a cooling effect when massaged in. Non-sticky, it disappears in seconds leaving a relatively matte surface of soft, soothed and nourished skin, all prepped and ready for moisturising. The fragrance is a delicate floral with a teeny hint of citrus and a twang of something slightly chemical, but not enough to bother me, and it doesn’t linger on the skin... The recommendation was for 3-4 drops morning & night, but I found it difficult to dispense by-the-drop so I went for a whole squirt for each application to my face, neck and chest – turns out it was exactly the right quantity for an even and thorough distribution... To be honest, I noticed very little change in my complexion in the first few weeks – I’ve been using quality serums for many years, and at my age, miracles aren’t likely so I wasn’t expecting much of an improvement. But…around about week three, I caught a glimpse of myself without makeup in a decidedly unflattering light and was surprised how great my skin looked – slightly curvy instead of flat, glowy instead of blotchy, and not showing the impact of a lifetime of gravity to the same extent... Despite working long hours, my skin simply doesn’t look as worn out as I feel, and with no other change to my skincare routine, I’m crediting this pumpkin-hour serum with the upgrade. Thank you L’Oreal & beautyheaven – I was perfectly happy with the serum I was using, but I’d much rather go with this beauty to see how much more glow and lift it can deliver, especially in the wee hours.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice product but heavily scented [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was fortunate enough to be chosen as part of a Trial Team to test this product. I am in my 40s and my skincare concerns range from dull, tired looking skin, uneven skin tone, fine lines and wrinkles and weird lumps (milia) and I guess I'm losing the firmness and glow I used to have. Firstly, I was impressed by the presentation of this product, the packaging and the unique shape and colour of the bottle really caught my eye. It is quite difficult to draw out the correct amount using the dropper, I had to constantly put it back in to draw up more of the serum, this gets a bit annoying doing it a couple of times a night, every night. The product has quite a highly fragranced fruit scent, it was a pleasant smell but I prefer my products with a more neutral scent. The serum is thick and is easy to apply, a few drops is all you need. It glides on easily and soaks in without feeling oily or leaving a residue. I had a few compliments on my skin glowing while using this product, I thought it improved my dulness and uneven skin tone to a degree. I noticed that the product's directions advise it can be used day and night but as this trial only recommended using it nightly, that is all I have done. I'm impressed by the results from this product but not by the scent or the application of using the dropper.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful skin in a bottle [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been a long term user of L'Oreal products, so I'm not surprised (spoiler!) that I really love this serum! The L'Oreal Midnight Serum has been designed to help the skin regenerate and repair while you're sleeping - I love a hard worker for when I'm not! This comes in a dark dropper bottle containing 30 ml of product, and this bottle looks gorgeous on my vanity. However, the dropper itself feels a little cheap, and doesn't quite fit with the overall design. That said, the product more than makes up for it! The serum itself feels a little viscous, but doesn't leave a sticky residue on the skin. It is a pale yellow, and when spread over the skin, it is absorbed in a matter of minutes. Key ingredients in this include Vitamin E and Neohesperidin, which are powerful antioxididants. Together, they battle free radical damage, which can otherwise lead to the signs of ageing. My skin feels smoother after having used this, and the improved texture makes it easier for makeup application. Definitely worth a buy, and even more so when it goes on sale!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Smoothes, hydrates, and fast absorbing serum [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so glad I was selected to trial the L’Oréal age perfect renewal midnight serum. The serum comes in a glass bottle with a dropper for easy application. I trialled the product for over a few weeks and I love the serum. It’s easy to apply and absorbs quickly. I applied it twice daily, in the mornings and evenings. Over the course of the trial, I have noticed that my skin is smoother and more hydrated. The only thing I struggled with was extracting the serum out of the bottle. The first time the dropper works great but when I need a little extra to apply on my neck and décolletage it was hard to get the product out of the bottle without fully closing the bottle and then extracting it. Overall, I’m happy with the serum and would buy it again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful serum [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was wonderful to be able to trial L’Oréal Paris Age Perfect Cell Renewal Midnight Serum. It comes in a bottle with a stopper which you press to make the product go into the stopper, then press again to release it into your hand. I used after toning, and before night cream. The serum is very light in texture, but looks golden rich, like its full of nutritious and hydrating ingredients to help your skin rest over night and awake to new skin cells, improved skin radiance and more firmness. It's full of vitamin E and antioxidants, so your skin will reap the benefits. Lovely to apply at night time, it's rich but so light, it will suit all skin types, even those prone to oiliness. It's a wonderful serum to add your skincare routine, so its easy to apply other serums too as they soak in lightly and quickly. I definitely recommend adding this serum to your skibcare routine for improved skin radiance, firmness and much smoother and softer skin.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lovely serum that hydrates [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this to review and I am so glad I did. I have been using this serum for about 6 weeks now and it's done a fabulous job of hydrating my skin. To be honest, I cannot see much difference in regards to my fine lines and wrinkles, but it hydrates the skin which means the lines don't appear as obvious. My skin is hydrated and stays that way all day. The serum is light, and absorbs easily into the skin - not greasy, thick or too runny. It also has a lovely subtle fragrant. The texture makes it easy to apply all over your face and neck. I love the bottle it comes in too - love the recycled glass, the brown/orange colour. it retro and I like it. The dropper makes it easy to apply, and much more hygienic than having to dip your fingers into the cream. The dropper is easy to use, just a few pumps gets you enough for your face and neck.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Smooth and visible results [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this as part of the review team trial. I used it day & night over the past month, on my face, neck and décolletage area. I have very oily skin, and as a result I don't have a lot of signs of aging on my face. You know what they say, oil don't spoil! So I can't really say whether it really had much affect on the signs of aging there. I did notice however that unlike other serums I've tried, this did not reduce the amount of oil produced by my skin at all. I have found that an advantage in other serums I've used, although I guess it could be a sign of cell renewal. But onto neck & décolletage, I do have signs of aging there, with the dreaded crepey skin in evidence. I did see a visible tightening of the skin there, and the area looks much smoother after a month of use. I also found it reduced a few skin tags etc in the area, which was an extra added bonus.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Trial Team [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product as part of the Trial Team. Firstly thank you for giving us such an extended time in which to trial the product. Being in Western Australia it did take a while to get here but even with that delay I still felt like I am able to give a fairly informed review. As much as I loved the serum, I did not like the packaging. The container looked like something that stepped out of the 80's (or 90's, not sure of the decade that had the bad taste of brown). It was very dated looking. While I found the dropper to be an excellent way to access the serum I'm not sure how easy it will be to get the last bit out when I get to that stage. Personally I prefer a tub for easy access. or a tube that I can cut open to get that last bit out from. I loved the fragrance and the feel of the serum between my fingers, and as I applied it, felt very luxurious. A small amount went a long way. When I started using the serum we were having over 40 degree days so I did not apply a moisturiser over the top. And because my skin felt so lovely and began to look very bright and clear, I continued to just use it on its own. Now that it is getting cooler I would consider applying a moisturiser, but because of the excellent results regardless, I think I'll stick to the current regime.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Unsure if I loved it or not! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you to the beauty heaven team and L’Oréal for giving me the chance to try the Midnight Serum. Always appreciate trying new things, particularly when my skin can hate a lot of products. Packaging was great, took up minimal space on my bench top but was bold enough for me to remember to use it daily. Serum itself is quite thick, and I found it hard to get 3-4 drops out, rather it was a full dropper or nothing at all! Fragrance wasn’t overpowering, and the serum itself had no effects on my skin (often get welts or itchy skin from a lot of brands- L’Oréal seems to be one I can use safely) but I don’t think I noticed much difference in my skin overall. I had returned to the gym at the same time I began using the serum so I’m not sure if my skin seemed brighter because of the serum, or because I was back to drinking 4L of water a day and exercising daily! Overall, it’s a nice serum, didn’t see a great deal of benefits though.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice but not amazing [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks for the opportunity to review the midnight serum. This is a really lovely serum. It smells amazing and feels lovely going in. My skin absorbed it quickly. Did I mention it smells amazing? That was really my favourite part of this serum. I didn’t notice any visible difference in my skin. I am 52 and my skin has always been on the dry side and becoming more so as I get older. I need something really nourishing and this isn’t it. It is a nice serum to use but perhaps better suited to younger skin or skin not quite as needy as mine.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Luxe feel, okay resuts [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would like to thank Beautyheaven and L’oreal for giving me the chance to review this serum. I really enjoyed the packaging of this serum! The bottle is very luxe with its shape and the weight of it, and the colours are somehow both neutral and stand out amongst my other skincare products! The serum itself is light in texture and when applied to the face it is very smooth and applies easily, which my sensitive skin appreciated! I really enjoyed the scent of this serum, it is light and not at all overpowering, but it added to the luxurious feel of the serum. It sat well under my usual moisturiser, with no pilling. I didn’t find that I had massive results from this serum as far as younger looking skin, but it did provide me with a good moisturising base of my skincare and I did really enjoy the process of using it if nothing else.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not sure I can see any visible changes [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this product as recommended- morning and night, and after cleansing. I can't see any change visually in the few wrinkles that I do have. I'm 35 years old, so I'm not sure whether perhaps a more mature skin suits this serum better. I have a facial every 3 months or so, and my therapist commented that my forehead is still quite dry, so I don't think this helped with hydration either. My skin feels smooth straight after application. The fragrance is inoffensive. I personally wouldn't use this again as I can't see any benefit.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Luxe for less [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This serum was surprisingly luxurious for a supermarket brand. My girls kept eyeing it for that reason. The bottle is glass and looks high end which is also better for the environment than plastics. Though I don't think it's recyclable. Once day all brands will be on board with this. It has a dropper which usually delivered the right dose of the serum, which is about 4-5 drops. Though as the bottle emptied during the trial it was a little harder to get enough product and I needed to tip the bottle a little and try to refill the dropper. Putting the dropper back in had to be done carefully so as to not have the product go all over the outside and be wasted. A pump mechanism would have been better to assist with delivery and maintaining the serum inside the bottle to get maximum use. Still I was happy with how it helps keep it fresh and uncontaminated. The serum has a light fragrance, goes on nicely and wasn’t oily at all. My moisturiser went on well over the top most of the time. Though I wasn’t sure if I needed to wait until it sunk in before moisturising. Could’ve just been me as I live in in a warmer, more humid climate plus hormone issues make me hot some of the time. I used it nightly and sometimes in the mornings as the box did say it can be used morning and night. It left my skin feeling soft and hydrated. Sometimes I forgot to add moisturiser, especially if I waited a few minutes for it to sink in. My skin felt particularly good in the mornings after use the night before, and having a well hydrated face does make you feel somewhat younger. No bad taste if I accidentally put some on my lips - bonus. To be honest I didn’t notice a difference to plumpness or radiance but my skin did feel smooth and fresh. It was on par with some higher end serums but did have a slightly thinner consistency than others. It is comparable at a fraction of the cost of the more expensive alternative, Estee Lauder's Advanced Night Repair serum, which basically had the same results for me when I have used that product in the past.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from anti aging [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was chosen to trial the L'Oreal Age Perfect Cell Renewal Midnight Serum. It comes in an elegant, brown, glass bottle which has an 'eye dropper' for precise measuring. The consistency of the Serum is not runny but slightly thick in texture and the fragrance was pleasant. I cleansed my face before using the Serum. The first time using the Serum I put a few drops directly onto my cheeks and gently massaged into my skin. However, even though I used about 6 drops of the Serum, it didn't spread out enough to cover my entire face but simply absorbed straight into my skin almost immediately. The next night, I left my skin damp after cleansing and the Serum spread much more easily. Still using 6 drops but this time my entire face. It felt quite beautiful actually. So I've tried the Serum nightly for 2 weeks but I haven't noticed much improvement in my fine forehead lines nor the eye area. Some areas of my skin, especially on my cheeks, seemed a bit dry and slightly reddened. I do have mature and sensitive skin so perhaps that's why this happened. The Serum was easy to use and I'm grateful for being chosen and I wish I saw better results but with all anti aging they don't really work that well maybe if I keep using it longer than 2 weeks I might see better results

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Smooth as silk [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was delighted to receive L’Oréal Paris Age Perfect Cell Renewal Midnight Serum as part of a trial team. Upon opening I was impressed with the elegant bottle design and the details. The box it came in was no match to the beautiful bottle. This product feels luxurious and lightweight upon application to the face, very silky and smooth helping my skin to feel hydrated without a greasy feeling. My skin drank up the silky serum especially hydrating after a long hot summer. I liked using this product at night and waking up to smooth fresh textured plumper looking skin in the morning. Although the serum has an overwhelming floral scent which I found to linger longer than expected I managed to tolerate the scent over time with much use but would prefer scent free if it was to become available. The dropper was a little annoying at times as I could not extract the exact amount of serum as directed. The formula has a creamy syrup consistency and is peach in colour. I felt this product helped my skin feel more youthful and the appearance of fine lines seemed to become smoother and subtle over time. I am inclined to consider further use of this product in my beauty regimen as it seemed to work well with my other skin care products on my skin not causing any reactions or sensitivity.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Luxurious and quick absorbing [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Firstly thanks BH for including me on this trail. When I received the delivery the first thing I noticed was how luxurious the packing felt. The box has a matte feel with some embossing (always a win), and the bottle has a 1920’s art deco charm, with the brown glass and panel styling. I’ll be honest, in that I like this packing better than many other similar high end product bottles. The product itself is a yellowish colour, with a consistently somewhere between milk and a thick shake. It’s has a really pleasant, light fragrance that doesn’t linger after application. The application instructions are for 4 drops to be used across the face and blended in. The serum blends easily, is not greasy. I found that it also absorbed easily, which is wonderful for someone who generally fails at following s skin care routine when it’s too involved. Being fast absorbing also means it doesn’t stop me putting on make up in the morning waiting for it to dry. I’ve not had any issues applying this under make up so there is another bonus. The only down side to this is the dropper applicator. While it is pretty, it does feel pretty useless since the serum is too thick to really use it properly. I found I was more pasting on the drops on rather than dropping. In terms of results, I found my skin did feel noticeably more smooth after few days of application. I also felt that I did look more refreshed, maybe even glowy although I wouldn’t necessarily say that it reduced my wrinkles. I think I am likely to continue to buy/use the serum because it made me feel good and application was so incredibly simple.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Smoothing effect [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was delighted to receive the Age Perfect Cell Renewal Midnight Serum by L'Oreal as part of the trial team. I haven't used a serum specifically for night time use and was eager to see the results. I have been using this product for several weeks now and have found it easy to apply, it has a lovely colour, however the scent, though delightful, is a bit overpowering and I would have preferred it had a lighter scent, hence the 3 star rating. My skin feels firmer and smoother in the morning and has a nice glow and radiance. I use it after cleansing and before my moisturiser and it has done wonders for my complexion. It absorbs nicely and is lightweight in texture. The dropper works well and I only need 2 drops for my face. I also blend it down to my neck and it feels lovely and hydrated. My fine lines are visibly reduced and it doesn't feel tight or greasy on the skin. I would recommend this serum for its pleasing results to anyone who doesn't mind a stronger scent. L'Oreal is a trusted brand and this serum restores the skin's balance while you sleep.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from L’Oréal midnight serum [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a combination dry skin with a greasy t piece down my nose area and chin and forehead. This serum is so easy to apply using the handy dropper dispenser to place the serum exactly where I wanted it . The serum goes quite a long way and is easy to spread . I liked the fact it doesn’t have its own strong perfume . After application the serum soaked into my dry face quite quickly without making my t section greasy . After an hour my skin felt softer and smoother but I only noticed a visible change in my skin after a week . The fine lines in my face seem to “ disappear “ which was wonderful . I was very happy with the product and will certainly use it again . The only slight drawback is the price . Beautiful product in a beautiful package!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Silky [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Age perfect cell renewal Midnight serum was a pleasure to use. I love the name of the product, especially the midnight serum it is appealing. I wasn't a big fan of the bottle although I liked the glass it just wasn't my style. I especially like that the bottle is made with recycled glass. I do like a dropper applicator for serums though I find that more sanitary. I did notice a difference in my skin almost immediately. I am 40 and my skin felt soft and silky smooth and brighter. The texture of the serum was quite thick but once applied it absorbed straight away and left no residue. I liked that a lot as I prefer lighter weight products. I have very sensitive reactive skin and my skin was absolutely fine with this product. My face gets very irritated by wearing masks all day and I found this product to have a soothing calming effect in that regard. I didn't need a lot of product to treat my face and neck just one dropper for each area to be sufficient. The one thing I would have to change about the serum in order to purchase it myself would be the fragrance. I did not like the fragrance it had and unless I really like the fragrance I would prefer fragrance free. Although the serum is targeted at a more mature audience I think anyone over 25 would enjoy this serum and still reap the benefits from it. Due to its lightweight nature, any age or gender could use it the only thing putting off the men may be the fragrance it has. I used the serum as part of my night routine after cleansing and although I didn't like the smell I found it have dissipated by morning so it wasn't too overpowering. It didn't make my pillow or sheets smell and honestly after probably 10 minutes I forgot about it. The price point is about mid-range which I think is fair for a product that performs and I have also seen it on sale for half price at some places making it even more affordable.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hydrating [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very lucky to have the opportunity to try this product. The serum comes in a luxury looking stained glass 30ml bottle with gold top and the dropper to control the amount used. I applied this serum to freshly cleansed skin every night. The texture is serum like, so nice a light, it’s a translucent liquid with a gold tinge. When applying the serum it goes on luminous and glowy, it feels very luxury. Then the serum absorbed into the skin and really softens and hydrates. The smell is lovely, it's a woody floral smell, I really enjoyed that part if the product. I'm 42 and have combination skin with some fine lines. I found this serum did not change the texture of my skin but it definitely helped with hydration and was a nice part of my bedtime skin care routine.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from No difference [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can honestly say that there is no difference. I used it religiously morning and night as directed. I can’t see any improvement nor could my other half. I had high hopes and I’m disappointed. Maybe my 65year old skin is beyond help !? I was really hoping for something beneficial, but unfortunately this is not the case. Thanks for the opportunity of being able to try it though and I would try other products in the future. Maybe products just designed for mature skins would be better for me.Disappointed though.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Serum more suited for the older demographic [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thankyou to Beautyheaven and L'Oreal for asking me to trial the L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect Cell Renewal Midnight Serum. I am almost 48 with some fine lines on my forehead and under my eyes and I have crows feet. I have combination normal to oily skin which is prone to breakouts when my skin doesn’t like a particular product or ingredient. The 30mls of serum comes in a glass hombre brown bottle. The bottom of the bottle is translucent so it is possible to see when there is about a centimetre of product left in the bottle. The bottle has a groove criss crossed pattern which makes the bottle look like it has time travelled from the 80’s. The lid is the screw on rubber pipette, which I found didn’t really dispense consistently sized drops (but that might be due to the consistency of the serum). The serum is a strong smelling very pale orange colour and is thick. I have almost finished it and am finding it hard to reach the last few drops as the pipette doesn't seem to be long enough to reach the bottom. It comes packaged in a box. Made in Germany. I've been using it for over a month and twice a day, but only on one side of my face. I like to test some products out this way so I can really compare whether a product works for me or not. I probably applied a little more than the suggested amount as it didn't seem to spread as well as it could have. It absorbed well and quickly. I was able to apply moisturiser and makeup without any pilling or other issues. There was no increase in pimples so a big tick for that. I didn't have any reaction or redness or increased sensitivity. I don't see a big difference in radiance or hydration, although the wrinkles under my eye seem better, less crinklier but not much difference in my frown lines (one could suggest that I stop frowning then - easier said than done). It didn't make my skin feel tight or dry but I wouldn't use this as a stand alone product and always apply moisturiser a few minutes after. I wouldn't purchase this product at this stage of my life, I don't think it would be as beneficial to me now as it would be in say, ten to twenty years. I would still use it if I was given it and would recommend it but maybe for an older demographic.
