It has a really deep cleaning effect. Rinses easily and smells amazing, typical of herbal essences. It leaves your hair hydrated and refreshed. The price point is good for the quality of the product and the size of the bottle. The scent lasts so long In your hair and also the formula makes your hair feel so soft! Will be sure to consider buying both this shampoo and condition again. Another great thing is that the packaging is environmentally friendly, with a recyclable bottle!

When first opening the bottle, I was hit with a beautiful sweet, natural fragrance. The shampoo lathered up very nicely and I only had to use a small squirt of the product to clean all of my hair. I have extremely long hair and the winter has not been kind to my dry ends. I found this shampoo really cleaned my hair well while also not drying out my hair further or leaving a build up of product. My partner also mentioned that my hair looked exceptionally shiny after washing it so that was a bonus!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Natural shampoo and smells amazing [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Herbal Essences bio: renew potent Aloe + Manuka Honey shampoo is derived of 90% natural ingredients, contains real plant based ingredients and is free from parabens, sulphates, colourants and silicone. This shampoo smells amazing. Honestly, it feels so lush using it and it lathers up nicely. It claims to nourish hair and protect against further damage and breakage. My hair did feel soft and more hydrated after using this (along with the conditioner too). It is a little pricey, but it’s a great product and smells so lush, I would probably purchase this again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although this shampoo advertises hydration and in the past when I’ve used hydration products, my hair has been left heavy and gotten oilier sooner than usual - this shampoo and conditioner combo has been a game changer. It suds up really well, created a great lather in the first wash and washes out properly from root to tip. My hair lasted for at least 2-3 days before getting oily and that’s saying a lot for a hydration product! I’m so happy to be able to use a product that can both nourish, moisturise and hydrate my hair without it getting oily the next day!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Greys under control [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Already familiar and happy with Herbal Essences shampoos and conditioners , I was pleased to be trialling the new Potent Aloe +Manuka Honey shampoo.,Of course it proved to be an excellent shampoo ,that I would recommend to others,.Being over sixty and having grey wavy hair , it can have a mind of its own, I found from the stylish bottle with the flip lid easy to handle, it has a lovely botanical perfume, and lathes easily. You don’t need a lot, and it washes out well too. My grey hair was manageable and felt smooth and silky, it didn’t need to be washed as much also.Getting those greys under control with no frizz is an issue for me and this shampoo seems to do the trick, nice smooth, heathy looking hair by a shampoo that is both natural and environmentally friendly. After using the Aloe and Manuka Honey shampoo for a week (and paired with the conditioner), my hair feels so much hydrated and soft. I even looks much healthier and silky. It lathers so good and actually feels like it’s cleaning my hair well. The scent is sweet but not overpowering. Herbal essences brand always have made the packaging and bottle design catching to the eye. I would totally recommend!

Herbal essences have created a product that helps balance the Ph levels in your hair for colour safe aswell as being cruelty free. The price is reasonable considering the ingredients, I just found the product isn't the best for my hair at the moment. My hair is thick, medium to long and a little dry. When using this shampoo it defiantly cleaned my hair well and smelt amazing but for my hair I need a little more nourishing as it felt even more dry after using it. This shampoo also has 0% added sulphates, silicones, parabens and colourants which is a huge benefit.

It effectively cleaned my hair. It has a nice kind-of fruity scent that stayed in my hair after rinsing the shampoo out, the scent is similar to other shampoos at the pharmacy. It comes in a large 400ml bottle that does not leak. When I used this shampoo as part of a three-step haircare routine along with the matching conditioner and leave-in treatment, they left my hair feeling clean, fairly soft and detangled, and with a fruity scent.

I have thick and wavy hair, so I need a shampoo that also has a moisture element to it. I think this shampoo would be great for someone with thin hair as it does not weigh down the hair. Also, when I used to use Herbal essence I would get this amazing scent when I open the bottle. However, for the first time, I did not get that amazing floral scent lingering in the air. I should mention I love that Herbal essence is going silicone and paraben free. We do not need that stuff in our hair.

This does smell amazing, lather is very easy however for coloured hair this stripped my colour quicker than other shampoos. I also did find that my hair found this very drying and not enough moisture or active ingredients to give it oomph. I do have try hair and regularly do treatments, I did the same as I would normally however I found my hair a bit flat. I wouldn’t suggest this to someone who has coloured, treated hair or very dry or damaged. Would recommend this to normal or oily hair.

I liked the 400ml packaging as you truly do get great value for money. The shampoo itself lathers up nicely once on the scalp and also washes out well too. It really does feel like it completly gives the hair an overall deep wash. For a supermarket bought product I feel like it does a decent job at locking in moisture, although have found it to slightly dry out my hair when I blow wave to dry. All in all a decent budget option for regular use.

I like the fact that it this shampoo is free of parabens, colourants, sulphates and is cruelty free. The lathering power of this is amazing! I have extremely thick hair and I find it lathers really well and makes me feel like my hair is really clean from any product or oil build up. I didn't find that the shampoo did anything to improve the quality of my hair but it was still an average shampoo to use.

The smell reminded me of a tropical holiday. I loved that the packaging was different for the shampoo and conditioner and I often mindlessly choose the conditioner bottle instead of the shampoo bottle. My hair had a lovely scent for the day following washing. I only need a 10cent size amount to wash my hair (I have short hair). But overall, my hair felt dry, I acknowledge that my hair is computed however my sister also tried this product and felt the same (her hair is not coloured and she would describe the skin type as ‘normal’ not ‘dry’).

I like that it's a green bottle and it contains natural ingredients. In terms of the wash and overall experience, it lathers well and my hair and scalp felt clean after using it but sometimes I did notice I needed to do a double-wash to ensure it was clean. I have long, fine hair and sometimes shampoos can 'dampen' my hair so it looks flat and lifeless but I didn't have any issue with this one. I do alternate this with another shampoo I have. Sometimes I feel there is build up but alternating shampoos seems to help with this.

I have really long and thick hair and often struggle to get shampoos to lather and get that all over ‘hairdresser’ feel but this did the job. It was really easy to rinse out, however, the initial clean feeling didn’t last. After a day, my hair still looked clean and wavy but running my fingers through it, I could feel a build up of product even without using any. This is the same problem I have with a lot of shampoos so while I don’t think it is the right product for me, I think a lot of other people will have a great experience using it.
