He is very fussy with his toothpaste so we have had an ongoing struggle to find toothpaste he likes. He has asked to keep the toothpaste so he can look at spiderman and said he’s open to trying it again “when I’m older”.

Initially, he was excited to brush his teeth, the picture enticed him, and even the glittery red/pink colour of the toothpaste was appealing. However, the toothpaste itself is very sweet, like, sickly sweet. So much so that my 3 year old didn't like it and wanted to spit it out. I tried it myself and also found it to be too sweet. My son's words were 'it's too much lollies'. I also think a clip close lid would be better than a screw lid, as my son is learning to get his own toothbrush ready and a clip lip is easier for his age.

Good old regular spearmint is the only flavour a toothpaste should be. It may be for some people but not for me. Having the Frozen 2 pictures on the packet and glitter in the actual paste may encourage some kids to brush more, so I guess that's a positive!

The flavour is “mild fruity” so I was surprised when my 6yo spat it all over the bathroom mirror and said it was gross. I tried it myself and while I could tolerate the flavour, I could understand why he didn’t like it. There is an unpleasant taste that I can’t quite put my finger on.

My son commented on the aftertaste which he didn’t like. It smells good. There was no froth at all which I didn’t like but I understand that low froth is the norm for kids.
