General Information

John Frieda Violet Crush Purple Toning Mask kisses brassiness goodbye in as little as one wash. The advanced, extra-strength formula cleanses while quickly neutralizing brassy tones for fresh and brighter hair. Crushed violet pigments absorb UV light and make colour-treated or highlighted blonde hair appear cooler and brighter in as little as one use.

Warnings

CAUTION: This product contains ingredients, which may cause skin irritation on certain individuals and a preliminary test according to accompanying directions should first be made. This product must not be used for dyeing the eyelashes or eyebrows; to do so may cause blindness. Do not apply to a sensitive, irritated or damaged scalp. Discontinue use if rash or irritation occurs. Keep out of reach of children. For external use on scalp hair only. Avoid contact with fabrics & household surfaces to prevent staining. If contact occurs, clean immediately.
TO PERFORM A PATCH TEST: 48 hours prior to use, clean a small area of skin behind the ear or on the inner surface of the forearm with soap and water or alcohol, apply a small quantity of the product to the area and allow to dry. After 24 hours, wash the area with soap and water. If the area has no irritation or inflammation, sensitivity to the product is unlikely.

Violet Crush Purple Toning Mask knocks out damage and brassy tones fast. For a cooler, more luminous, salon-fresh blonde.

Directions

After shampooing with Violet Crush Purple Shampoo, generously apply the Purple Toning Mask evenly through wet hair and comb through. Leave on 1-3 minutes, and not more than 5 minutes, rinse well. Wash hands immediately. Use weekly or as needed until desired toning results are achieved.

This is the first time I used Frieda Violet Crush Purple Toning Mask and I am very impressed. The product is a good consistency and is easy to apply. One of the things I loved about it was how easily it washed out of my hair, leaving it feeling very soft and manageable. I liked that, in addition to the shampoo, it also helped to tone down the yellow in my hair, neutralising it.

This was the first time I have used this product and, I have to say, this will be my new ‘Go To’. It worked really well in toning down the yellow in my blond highlights. It neutralised them right away. The colour of the shampoo is a nice bright yet deep purple like other brands I have tried, but unlike other brands, it didn’t stain my fingers as much. It lathered really well so I didn’t need to use too much product. It was very conditioning as well. When I rinsed it out of my hair, my hair felt as if I had already put conditioner on it. What can I say, ‘I’m hooked!’.

The colour worked as well as other purple tone shampoo/conditioner that I have tried but was much kinder to my hair. I have full head of foils ash blonde and silver roots (they’re natural..) some shampoos I’ve been using have grabbed the foils and the naturals and I’ve ended up with purple hair! Not with this shampoo just a beautiful soft light colour and very clean, nice smelling hair.
