Common Uses

This innovative Vibrant Shine 3-in-1 Shine Spray, with Argan Oil, weightlessly adds shine to all shades, detangles and provides heat protection up to 450F/200C.

Directions

Start with clean, damp hair and spray throughout. Comb through hair to distribute, do not rinse out. Style as usual. For optimal results, use with Vibrant Shine Shampoo and Conditioner.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not for me - but would be for others [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Alas - while I can see how this product would be amazing for some, for my uncolored, dark fine hair it was a disappointment. Yes, it makes it shiny, however is a little too heavy and I noticed my hair was a little weighed down by the product unless I used so little it wouldn't be relevant any more as a heat protectant. It sure does smell nice though, and worked well as a detangling spray...did I mention the shine? I can see how it would work well for dry, color treated hair however. My mother with short, bleached hair has pinched it off me and I doubt I'd be able to get it back...she seems to be quite the fan.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good for everyday styling [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this to trial and started using it for detangling and as protection when straightening my hair. It works OK as a detangler but I found I needed to almost drench my hair in it. It appears to keep Mt hair looking healthy and smooth if I use heat so I would recommend it to someone who does a lot of styling with heat tools. My hair also lools shiny after using this but I wouldnt purchase this product for that promise alone. I would have liked it to have a bit of a stronger scent as it doesn't really smell like anything and it would just be an added bonus.

Out of this, the shampoo and conditioner, I was most excited about this product. I have heard good things about john frieda and I enjoy using a product that will help with shine and give my hair some life. However, instead this product just made my hair so oily and greasy looking. Not the type of shine I was going for. I think maybe this product doesn't work for people who have fine hair that absorbs product quite quickly. On the plus side, the product smells nice and the dispenser is quite easy to use.

It is that time of year where I wash and dry my hair daily and I always use a leave in heat protector. When used with the matching shampoo and conditioner from this range, I had the worst wash days of my life. When used within my normal routine the results were meh. Nothing bad happened, but nothing to amaze me. I get a lot more shine to my hair using the tresemme heat protectant, and its about half the price for double the size. The john frieda vibrant shine didn't seem to add any moisture to my hair, I'm not sure there would be a noticeable difference if I didn't use it at all. The scent of the product is reminiscent of floral cleaning products. I wouldn't recommend to family or friends.

I really like the scent (roses) but that's about as far as i'd go with what i enjoyed. I used this in conjunction with the shampoo and conditioner from the same range and I didn't see any additional shine or vibrance to my hair. But what I disliked the most about this was the spray nozzle. It is terrible. The spray wasn't a nice mist, it was a sharp narrow spray and i didn't find it easy to use. No matter how far away i'd spray from my hair it was terrible. It is not easy to apply and I wouldn't repurchase or continue to use.

I used this spray in conjunction with the Vibrant Shine Colour Shine Shampoo and Conditioner duo and only on my hair shaft. It gave my hair shaft shine but it did not render it soft and my hair appeared flat and felt dry at times. The formulation was lightweight and did not weigh down my hair shaft, but while it claimed to assist with detangling, I still had knotted strands. Perhaps this spray is not intended for my hair type as the results were mediocre.
