The gel has a smooth texture, unlike many grainy ones on the market, and the refreshing taste is great. While I’m not sure if it actually whitened my teeth, I’d definitely buy it again at a reasonable price—it’s a nice toothpaste overall.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from White & fresh [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Keeping teeth white and sparkly can be a mission sometimes, but after trying Colgate Advanced Whitening toothpaste for approximately 10 days (brushing twice a day) my smile is brighter than before. The toothpaste contains active micro-cleansing crystals that are clinically proven to gently polish and effectively whiten teeth, plus it has a really nice fresh minty taste that leaves your mouth feeling clean. I also loved that it foams like normal toothpaste.

My teeth felt super clean with each brush and the freshness lasted for ages. It is on par with the Colgate Max Fresh toothpaste which is my go to toothpaste. Pleasantly surprised.

After use my teeth felt so so clean and my mouth felt so fresh which I really like in a toothpaste and it stayed like this for hours after using it. I didn’t notice any huge difference in the shade of my teeth looking any whiter after a week of use but i am going to continue using and give it some more time to see if I notice a difference. I did really like using this toothpaste!

I took photos on the first day of using and again on day 7. Both photos were taken in the same lighting, a week apart and I can see that my teeth are a shade or so whiter, which I consider good for a weeks use. I have used several other whitening products in the past, many a lot harsher and while others did work to make my teeth whiter, they also came with sensitivity issues. I had no sensitivity to this toothpaste at all. It seems unlikely to have an effect on heavier stains (I'd rather not share photos of my molars where I saw no change) but it definitely made a difference to my front teeth. I wouldn't suggest that you can expect a dramatic change if your teeth are very yellow but I'd recommend it to people looking to maintain already whitened teeth and a good option for people who have more sensitive teeth. I have found Colgate's Optic White products, particularly their pen to have more impact

Texture was fine. I didn't notice a difference in the shade of my teeth after trailing this product so I wouldn't recommend it for the whitening aspect. I think more long term use would help to prevent the build up of stains and tartar.

I have been using it for a few weeks now and I like that it leaves my teeth feeling really nice and clean and fresh - full points for that. However, like many of the Colgate whitening toothpastes I've tried, I find that I don't really see a noticeable difference in the shade of my teeth. I recommend this for a good clean but don't raise your expectations too high if you're looking for a whiter smile.

I particularly love the whitening effect of this one because I drink quite a bit of tea and coffee. I really noticed my teeth looked less stained after about two and half weeks of using this. Is also gives you that great fresh breath we all desire and the obvious cavity protection. Winner for me. I will buy again.

I don’t believe it whitens to the extent of tv commercials claim it to, but if it’s on sale then I’d recommend it. I watched a doco that said over the counter whiteners don’t have enough power to whiten teeth visible to the naked eye. Only a dentist can change that. Nonetheless, this toothpaste has a great minty taste. The packaging is quite pretty and if it’s on sale, why not!

We like picking up a few tubes when it’s on sale, but it’s not that expensive at it’s normal price. While I’d say it’s a good toothpaste I don’t think it whitens particularly well. It probably does help maintain your teeth as they are and prevent stains getting worse. I drink tea and coffee, so I need a bit more to whiten my teeth. Not a bad toothpaste though.

It is strong and minty, so it you don't like your toothpastes strong then this is probably not the product for you. I like how much it foams up, might be an illusion but it really makes me feel like I am getting a deep clean and that my whole mouth is covered. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 would have to be the fact that compared to other stronger whitening toothpastes it is not as effective. It is a much lower price point then these competing products, but it is advertised as advanced whitening, but not sure it lives up to this claim.

I certainly don't purchase this tooth paste if I'm after a whitening effect I personally use another Colgate toothpaste designed for that, but if you are after the Utlimate clean feeling then this is your toothpaste. Love the strong minty flavour and it's long lasting too as I find some other toothpastes the minty fresh feeling seems to fade shortly after you've brushed.

I've tried this toothpaste and others from the brand. This toothpaste is a sweet minty taste gooey paste and I need a pea sized amount to brush my teeth. I brush with this tooth paste morning and night and it leaves my mouth feeling fresh and clean. Having used the entire tube of toothpaste I can say that it doesn't noticeably whiten teeth but works great as a regular toothpaste. The tube is squeezy and the paste easy to dispense. Overall just a good toothpaste from a trusted brand.

Its really no different to any other whitening toothpaste but i do see a small amount of change even though we do drink alot of tea and coffee but it does seem to take away stains each time we use it. Its taste is better and gives your mouth a real sense of freshness and a feeling a cleanness all day. Terrific value for money also.

It's gentle on enamel as it states on the box and has micro-cleaning crystals which I can barely feel but I do notice a very fine graininess to the paste unlike other normal toothpastes. I figure this is the micro crystals! These micro crystals gently lift away the stains over a 14 day period. My teeth feel smoother and have a slightly shinier look to them. I think they look slightly whiter. I drink a lot of tea and I do notice that the tea stains seem to be lifted off my teeth with this toothpaste.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from nice taste, some difference [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this toothpaste for about a year now and like the taste, texture and overall effect it has on my teeth- they feel clean, have gone maybe 1 or 2 shades whiter and leaves my breath smelling fresh. What drew me to this particular toothpaste was the cool shiny packaging and whitening property. I have a hygiene routine and ensure I brush my tongue, floss and brush my teeth and drink heaps of water as well as chewing gum every day. I think by combining all these elements with the tooth paste it has improved my teeth. :)

One great thing about it is, it does deliver on the whitening promise. I noticed with continuous use, my teeth appears whiter than when not using it. This is temporary however, as once stopped, the effect is gone. Still a great product to keep buying. I have grown up with Colgate toothpaste and prefers the "taste" to other brands. Somehow, there is a "taste" difference in the brands. A tube lasts 4-5 months, for 1-2 person/s use and I like it with a cap top. Losing the twist top can be very annoying.

Great taste- easy to use, and really gives a great clean to the whole mouth. I have noticed a slight whitening aspet- only slightly but Im pleased with this as it provides other benefits and still manages to white! My teeth feel cleaner and fresher for longer and a tube lasts months and months even with twice a day use! Like this for its all round use!

I have some yellowing from coffee staining which is particularly obvious on the front section of my teeth. This product advises that teeth will look better within 14 days and advises using it twice a day. I use enough to have a strip of product on my brush and focus it on the front of my teeth making sure to brush for the full 2-3 minutes. It is minty fresh but very nice and refreshing. It is a very gentle product that doesn't feel grainy at all. I felt that after a week of use my teeth went about 102 shades whiter. It wasn't significantly white, but I could definitely tell the difference. With continual usage, it keeps my teeth looking healthy. If you wasn't a lot of whitening, perhaps the optic white is a better option, but if you have minor staining then this product should be perfect! On a final note, I loved how clean my teeth felt after, it left no film over my teeth so they felt really nice.
