Having never used a charcoal toothpaste before I went into this trial with an open mind but I have to say a combination of the minty smell and the through clean my teeth feel after use I am a converted fan! The only downside would be the mess the charcoal toothpaste leaves in the sink but that’s hardly a negative when you get such a great clean!

I thought the charcoal would be bitter somehow, I was wrong! It was minty freshy and smooth. It was not super gritty and a little goes a long way. My teeth felt and looked clean and stayed clean for ages after. It was gentle on my gums and teeth aswell.

I have very sensitive teeth and this is the least abrasive and non-sensitising charcoal product I have ever used. I have been continuously using it the whole trial period with nil change in sensitivity and the results and equal to that if it’s harder counter parts. 100% recommend and will continue to use beyond trial period. It cleans my teeth naturally without much effort in brushing. You do have to be careful when brushing though as it might stain your clothes and you’d have to clean your sink more often too. However, the benefits surely outweigh it. I’d recommend trying this product if you’ve been looking for charcoal toothpaste. You won’t be able to taste the charcoal as it tastes like a normal mint toothpaste.

The black colour does look strange while you are brushing your teeth, but it does quite clearly highlight any areas you have missed so you can go back in and re-floss.It didn't taste quite as minty as other toothpastes, but it wasn't an unpleasant taste. After using it for a week my teeth have felt cleaner and look slightly whiter compared to when I use other toothpastes. I look forward to seeing the results after I finish the whole tube of toothpaste.

This toothpaste was really black, it looked funny when I just started using this. I can see my teeth whiten a little bit after 1 week of use. Also due to its black color, I could see that I didn't use my electric toothbrush and sink properly in the past because the black mark was still left there. Now I know how to clean both my toothbrush and sink properly :) I will use this alternatively with my sensitive toothpaste because it helps whiten my teeth but I need another toothpaste for sensitivity.

The design of the cap makes it possible to open/close the toothpaste with just one hand. The paste is black and thick and tastes really fresh, you can't really taste the charcoal. It doesn't leave any black stains after rinsing.

However when using I noticed that it did indeed help increase the whiteness of teeth due to the charcoal in the product. Though one thing that did worry me about the charcoal is if it would stain the sink, though I didn't have issue with that. The toothpaste had a minty taste but could do with being a bit more minty as I found it underwhelming.
