General Information

Made using sustainably sourced material, Manicare Exfoliating Back Scrubber is a reusable body exfoliating product made with environmentally conscious materials to support your skin health with the planet in mind. The stretchy material is ideal to use for the back and hard-to-reach areas.

The Exfoliating Back Scrubber gently cleans and exfoliates skin to remove dirt and dead skin to keep it smooth and clear, with a healthy glow.

• Recycled polyester - the back scrubber is made using certified recycled polyester, designed for exfoliating.
• Organic cotton - the handles are made with organic cotton yarn that are free from dyes.

Directions

Wet the Back Scrubber to activate the softness of the fabric and use your favourite body wash. Hold both handles with the Back Scrubber on your back and move it in a back and forth motion.

USAGE ADVICE

Use to prep skin for tanning or for removing fake tan. Ideal for those with dry, rough patches or who are prone to enlarged pores.

I normally use a body brush but even then it can be difficult. The exfoliating back scrubber makes it so easy now to wash and exfoliate my back! You can use it on its own but I like to put some soap or body wash on it to cleanse and exfoliate at the same time. The material is gentle enough to not cause any irritation but also strong enough to feel like your back is getting a proper clean. Dead skin cells can accumulate which can also cause back acne making this is a good product if you are prone to bacne. It's so simple and easy to use and I like to use it all over my body too including my legs. After using the exfoliating back scrubber my skin definitely feels soft and smooth. I definitely recommend!

Of course during showering, my back gets a good soak but I’m sure there were parts I couldn’t reach properly. I’m flexible but not a contortionist….Lol! I’ve really enjoyed scrubbing and washing my back with this. My skin feels so soft and smooth afterwards. The back scrubber is made of stretchy material with two cotton loops so your hands can easily grab the scrubber to gently exfoliate and wash your back. I usually soak the scrubber with water to soften the material then apply my shower gel directly to the middle of the panel then using a gently seesawing action give my back a good scrub. I attempted to scrub my feet but I don’t recommend it if you are ticklish like me! This is a product you didn’t think you needed, but once you discover it you wonder why it took you so long to buy one and now can’t live without it. It’s fun to use and works a treat! Highly recommended by me.

Quick and easy to use, I’m able to exfoliate all those hard to reach places on my back. The handles make it easy to hold and you can control how soft or hard the pressure is when using it to scrub your back. The material is stretchy and gentle on the skin while still exfoliating. Since using this scrubber my back now feels so nice and smooth. After using I hand on my shower caddy so it can dry out between uses. So far it has been drying fairly quick and there is no smell or mould (which I was worried about). I have also chucked it in the wash for a quick wash and freshen up and it came out still looking great.

Thankyou BH for letting me trial this! This has been an absolute godsend when it comes to exfoliating those hard to reach spots as, not only is it stretchy but the handles make it easier to hold. My skin doesn't feel dry or sore from over-use. The fabric becomes softer once damp so there's no need to worry about exfoliating your skin off with the scratchy material! It's definitely not a necessity BUT showering would not be the same without it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually never realised how much of my back was getting missed when exfoliating/washing that area. I must have really looked a treat trying to use my hands to get everywhere previously. I simply wet this scrubber and apply my bodywash, and it is amazingly easy to get absolutely everywhere on my back, with out looking like I am completely unco-ordinated. Honestly this is an absolute breeze to use and I have to say that my skin is honestly so thankful for it. I generally use a body oil in the shower after exfoliating and it now gets absorbed in even quicker. My partner even asked what I was doing differently as my back is even softer than before. He also said that I better keep using it.lol

It’s so comfortable on the skin while giving a great clean feel to my skin. It’s suppose to be a back scrubber but I use it all over, does the job great. My favourite part of it is the slight stretch it has to it making it fantastic to scrub my back with making it easy to get all the hard to reach places. It’s good to know that it’s made with environmentally conscious materials which is good for the body and planet. I give it a good soak in the shower and a apply some body wash on it, lather it up and scrub away. Its easy and quick to wash and It has a great fast drying material with handles u can use to hang it up to dry. This is my new favourite shower scrubber. I will purchase more for the whole family. Definitely recommend to buy.

My skin feels so smooth since I have been using it. It is easy to use and it leaves my body, including those hard to reach areas feeling totally exfoliated and smooth. It easily gets rid of all the old dead dry flaky skin and leaves me with fresh new healthy skin. I love it. I have been using this every night for about 3-4 weeks now and already I can notice a difference in my skin. And I’m really impressed that it doesn’t have any mildew smell like ordinary face washers. I just rinse it out after each use and hang it in the shower and its dry ready to use again the next night with no smell. It is a great exfoliator for hard to reach areas like my back and easy to wrap around my legs and arms as well. I have recently been diagnosed with arthritis in my shoulder so it has been really hard to wash my back but not anymore. This is so much better than a puff or flannel. It gives the who body an effective scrub although it may be a little harsh for sensitive skin or sensitive areas. It exfoliates well and creates a nice lather when used with shower gel or body wash. I feel so clean after washing with this scrubber and my skin feels so soft. This scrubber is fantastic and better than anything I have used in the past. I will definitely be buying more of these when necessary.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fantastic item to have in the bathroom, simply because I could never reach my back without it. I love having an exfoliating back scrub at a dayspa but with this item I can do it at home every day if I feel like it, for nothing. It is so easy to use by holding the handles and moving it back and forth along the length of my back. I even used it over the backs of my upper thighs and my butt. It feels great to use, not rough at all, and I love that the materials used are recycled (recycled polyester for the band, organic cotton for the handles). I always rubbed mine with my bar soap before applying so that I'd get a wash and exfoliation at the same time.

I have also used exfoliating mitts but it really doesn't reach all around my back, so I like this so much more! It feels like scratching an itch, not too harsh at all. And I sometimes use it as my loofah so I add a dollop of body wash to it and it lathers up nicely and cleans well. This makes my skin feel soft and smooth afterwards. I'm trying to cut back on buying exfoliating washes, using products like this really cuts down on waste. And it doubles as a loofah so I don't have to buy those anymore too! It's not too harsh to use everyday. And if it does feel rough you can just control how hard you apply it to the skin. If you just skim it over your body it's fine. After using this I just hang this on a hook in my shower and it dries really well. Mine doesn't smell or get mouldy, but I always make sure my bathroom is well ventilated. I absolutely recommend this scrubber!

Rated 5 out of 5 by JuJu47 from Gets those hard to reach places I have a body brush which I love but that is still tricky on my back as there are spots in the middle that are awkward to reach. I ordered this back scrubber to try and give myself a better back scrub and have found this is great for reaching those difficult spots. The fabric takes a little while getting used too and a little technique to get the right tension but one that is sorted it does an excellent job so no more itchy backs or dropped brushes trying to reach the blind spots. I apply a good dose of shower gel on my back and revel in the lovely feeling under the nice warm shower.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t remember the last time I gave my back a really good exfoliation - probably because I didn’t have something that could reach my entire back area! The Manicare Exfoliating Back Scrubber is the perfect shower accessory and saves me having to contort my hands to scrub my back! The stretchy material and handles on either side of the fabric make it super easy to scrub my entire back really easily and quickly. The fabric softens when damp so it’s not uncomfortable on my skin. My back feels so much smoother since I started using this product. Highly recommend!!

I was very happy when i saw this as i was in desperate need of a back scrubber. Often i would get excess skin and pimples on my back that is very hard to reach when i take showers. And this has really helped that. I noticed that my back has improved in skin texture when fewer pumps visible. This is also a stretchy material which has made it very comfortable and easy to use when scrubbing the back. It is like any other exfoliating towel, except this is very gentle and effective at the same time. I have used exfoliating towels in the past, most are quite aggressive and have left my skin red and a little irritated. This product however, does not do that.

At fist I was worried as the back scrubber does feel quite rough, but one you wet it and apply your body wash it feels softer and not so rough. It does take some time to get use to using it and finding the perfect way to hold it but once I got use to it I found that it was easy to use and left the skin on my back feeling nice and smooth I have also noticed that the acne on my back was clearing up.

I tend to neglect the skin on my back and knew I needed to give it a thorough scrub, but did'nt realise how much until I used this. I could feel the difference straight away before I even got out of the shower! The feeling of the water running over my back was different. I did'nt find it difficult to use, it's about 46cm long and the handles are sturdy and easy to grip. It's made of recycled polyester and is'nt too rough. It did'nt take long to dry afterwards when I hung it up in the bathroom, even though it was cold and wet outside. I will feel more confident wearing clothes that show my back and shoulders in the summer, and it would be great to use beforehand if I get a fake tan or convince my husband to rub some moisturiser on my back.

Usually I just get my husband to exfoliate my back with a physical exfoliator but now I can exfoliate myself. The back scrubber has a handle on each end and the bamboo exfoliator is nice and wide, making it easy to reach around your back and not miss any areas. Use is easy, simply soak under water for about 30 seconds until it softens and start scrubbing. I personally used this on my legs and arms as well, not just my back. Quality is high so when this eventually wears out I’ll definitely be repurchasing.

I love how the material is a sustainably sourced organic cotton without dyes and recycled polyester. The performance of the product is allows a gentle exfoliation without irritation to my sensitive skin. It's perfect for reaching those tricky areas on the back. The stretch loops can be pulled taught for a deeper exfoliant, but I'm hesitant to try this as as I'm worried about irritation. Don't be concerned with how coarse the product feels initially, when the product is wet the texture is much softer. I love how it can be simply popped into a delicates bag for a quick machine washable and be reused. The dry time is much fast than your standard reusable beauty pads or cloths.

So upon receiving the Manicare exfoliating back scrubber I learnt something new and got to try something I’ve never tried before. I just need to pour small amount of body wash on to the scrubber and hold both handles with the back scrubber on my back and move my hand up and down motion for scrubbing.It Increase the lather of body wash on my back. I found that it effectively exfoliated my skin, leaving it smooth, soft and supple after a shower and moisturiser. I also felt that it cleaned well my skin and give nice massage to improved blood flow, and reduced itchiness,oiliness and breakouts along my back. It has nice grip handles on both ends that you can easy to hold and use the scrub on your back.It is gentle on my skin and wide enough to cover most area at once. I feel good about using this as it made using sustainable materials. Although it is back scrubber but you can use it like arms, legs and other parts of your body.I really enjoyed it. It made my shower experience lot better.Overall I think this is an interesting tool to add my shower routine and recommended others to try it, including those with sensitive skin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is lovely wide back scrubber that I received as part of the Biggest Trial Ever and I love that because it feels like a gorgeous big scratchy hug. I love a good scratchy tickle or massage (or both) so if you are that sort of person too, then you may love this as much as I do. The material is a blend of organic cotton and recycled polyester. There are some simple instructions on the back of the box that it comes in and there is also some information on it. Once out of the box it spreads out quite wide so it would be suitable for either a man or woman or anyone! Being extra wide makes fast work of washing the body thoroughly while in the shower. I love to put a bit of my shower gel on this and then scrub away like the woman in the picture on the box that you can see in the listing photo. I feel like it cleans my back really well and I love to run it all down the back of me right down to my calf muscles. My skin feels lovely and clean after I use this and it does it's job very well but I also feel that it is gentle enough on the skin too. Yep I would buy this again and I would buy them for all my friends and family as gifts too. I feel that it really does quench that scratchy itch that we can get on our backs and even if I didn't know it before I use it, I find myself going 'ahhhhh' during use. So this gets to the spots quickly and easily where it is normally tricky to reach. It hangs up easily on a hook (which I happened to already have in the shower) so that it drains and is ready for the next shower. It's made from a sturdy fabric so it seems like it definitely will last quite a while. I rinse mine after use and before hanging as it says on the instructions on the back of the pack. My skin feels clean and increasingly smooth with each use and I can't resist but use it every single shower because it feels great! As it suggests on the back of the pack, it is good also for prepping the skin for a fake tan because it smooths the skin, exfoliating gently any dead skin.

Never have I ever exfoliated my back. Never thought I had to. Never even thought about ensuring that it's properly cleaned either. I've only every just soaped over the shoulders and let the water run it down my back in the hopes that it's al clean. Well nevermore!!! This Exfoliating Back Scubber is DA BOMB!!!! I was surprised at how stretchy it was too to draw over my back. In the first use of it, sure it was a little scratchy (so I knew it was doing something) but boy oh body the result. I don't think I've ever felt my back be so soft and smooth. It was so easy to use with the handles. This is now a staple in the shower. I can't live without it.

I’m so pleased to have received this exfoliating back scrubber to review. The first time I tried it without body wash and found that once wet it was fairly gentle on my back and I was able to reach all areas with ease from my shoulders down to my lower back. The handles are very comfortable and the size of the scrubber is perfect. It’s made from recycled polyester and has a little stretch in it. On subsequent uses I’ve added body wash and it lathers up really well and feels like a luxurious treatment. It is very easy to keep clean – just a thorough rinse and then I hang it up to dry near an open window. My back had not been exfoliated in a very long time and now the skin feels clean and invigorated. I love this back scrubber. It’s easy to use and to look after, and very well made.

Probably due to being hard to reach and not having the right product to help. I was lucky enough to try the exfoliating back scrubber. It's a long rectangular piece of fabric, with loops either end to hold onto. The material is stretchy, and it's made from environmentally conscious products. Dry, the material was quite scratchy, which i thought may be a bit too rough, however once the material is wet it gives the perfect coverage. You only need to gently rub, not much pressure. Great for those that need to exfoliate before fake tan, wearing open back dresses/tops, summer time for bathers or just wanting to incorporate exfoliating into your routine. Once done, you can hang up the scrubber to dry. I was impressed how quickly it dried, without leaving a damp smell.

I have been using this for 6 weeks now. What I’m most impressed is it didn’t have any mildew smell like any other bath cloth. I just hang it in my shower to hang dry and I use it everyday. Now I got one for my mum as well, she has arthritis it has been so hard for her to wash her back.

I've been using the Manicare Exfoliating Back Scrubber in my shower to scrub my back since my husband never offers (lol). It's made from recycled polyester and the corded handles are made from organic cotton yarn, even the plastic packaging is recyclable. Its made in China. When I'm ready to use it, I wet it then pour a little shower gel on it before working up a slight lather. It does work well but for it to be effective I need to round my shoulders so it gets the bits between my shoulder blades before working it back and forth, from the top of my shoulders to the base of my spine. Also, if you are a larger framed person (like me) you'll find your elbows hiting shower walls and curtains. Once rinsed, I hang it over a tap or on the shower frame and amazingly its dry the next day ready to use again. The texture of the material is good, abrasive enough to work away the dead skin cells but not so rough that my back is scrubbed raw. On the packaging it recommends replacement every three to six months which kind of negates the sustainably sourced materials statement if you are having to replace it every three to six months with more sustainably sourced materials. I actually don't see any need to replace it regularly if it still looks good and smells fine.

The cord handles allow you to grip the cloth as you shimmy it back and forth down your back. The materials used to make this scrubber are all sustainably resourced - the packaging is even recyclable. I use it with my shower gel for a really good clean. Once finished, I rinse it and squeeze it out and hang it somewhere in my shower and its dry the next day!

It looks like a flat piece of loofah but it's made from recycled polyester. There are two hand loops, one of each end, so you can easily put each hand in each end and stretch it across your back. It feels quite scratchy at first but better once softened with water. It creates a good lather with shower gel. You can also scrunch it up to do the other parts of your body like arms and legs. It provides a good back scratch and has an exfoliating effect. I always have trouble reaching my upper back and this product fixes that problem. I just wish it was ever so slightly softer so that I can use it everyday. It can be rinsed with water and left to drip dry in the shower and re-used. Manicare recommends replacement every 3-6 months.

Never realised what a difference it would make in my shower routine! I will start with the negative as I deducted a star because I found it far too stretchy when wet, due to this and the amount it stretches the fabric width almost halves which is frustrating as it is only a small area left to scrub with roughly the width of you hand. In terms of exfoliating it does an amazing job and leaves your skin so soft. I actually use it all over my body not just my back as it works wonders! I can easily use with the handles or fold/scrunch up for areas like ankles/ foot to get good use out of it The handles make it easy to use in any direction as you have something to hold so can scrub on a diagonal from should to hip or left to right across your back, easily scrubs the back of your legs also which I sometimes struggle with.

Never realised what a difference it would make in my shower routine! I will start with the negative as I deducted a star because I found it far too stretchy when wet, due to this and the amount it stretches the fabric width almost halves which is frustrating as it is only a small area left to scrub with roughly the width of you hand. In terms of exfoliating it does an amazing job and leaves your skin so soft. I actually use it all over my body not just my back as it works wonders! Rated 4 out of 5 by IndieAna from Manicare Back Scrubber [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Included in the 2022 Biggest Beauty Giveaway Trial I was fortunate enough to be invited to participate in, was the Manicare Exfoliating Back Scrubber. The scrubber is made of certified recycled polyester which gives it stretch and the handles are made with organic cotton yarn. It is a decent length to reach all of those hard to reach places without being too long to work with easily. I find that the scrubber feels similar in texture to an exfoliating mitt. Exfoliating but not harsh. This product can be used not only to clean and exfoliate the back and shoulders, it can also be used on elbows and knees to reduce roughness. Is the Manicare Exfoliating Back Scrubber necessary? Not really but it is nice to have in the shower. No more begging for someone to wash your back! :)

I was asked to try the Manicare Exfoliating Back Scrubber. There is a big green symbol on the front of the plastic packaging stating it's been made from sustainably resourced material. The plastic packaging is recyclable. The scrubber part is made from recycled polyester and the handles are made from organic cotton yarn. It's made in China. It does say recommended to replace every three to six months. I wouldn't think that is necessary as long as it is looking in good repair and it is being rinsed and dried after each use. If you were replacing unnecessarily four times a year then to me it just seems like a waste of materials and money. This looks like a simply can't fail product but I did find a couple of problems. Firstly, I am overweight and although my shower isn't small by any means I found myself hitting the tiled walls and the shower curtain with my elbows while I was doing the back "flossing" motion. For it to effectively wash my back I need to round my shoulders over like a cat stretch, think yoga pose, for the scrubber to make contact in the place between my shoulder blades. Neither are major problems but a little annoying. The texture of the scrubber is really good, it’s not too harsh or abrasive, in fact it’s just right. I use the same body wash on the back scrubber that I usually use on my mesh puff but it doesn’t foam up as much on the back scrubber. After rinsing and wringing out, I loop the handles over the pump top of my shampoo bottle and surprisingly it’s dry the next morning. It’s a good product but sometimes it’s just easier to reach for my mesh puff.
