General Information

Elevate your skincare routine with the Manicare® Contour Roller Set at home. The facial roller is powered by sonic vibration to help reduce puffiness and to visibly sculpt, tone, and tighten your face and neck. Simply use the facial roller as part of your skincare routine to enhance the performance of actives in your favourite skincare products.

Massage is known to relieve tension and reduce puffiness. Manicare® Contour Roller Set only requires light to medium pressure when massaging and comes with two interchangeable attachments: 

• Contour Roller - targets larger areas like jawlines, cheeks, and along the side of the neck.
• T-Bar Under Eye Massager - targets delicate under eye areas.

Ensure the treatment area is well moisturised to aid easier gliding action. Adopt slow and mindful movements when using the facial roller to massage.

Suitable for all skin types. Do not use on any skin that is inflamed. Recommended to use facial roller 3 times a week.

Battery Operated: 1 x AA battery is required. In general, each battery can last up to 3 hours. Battery not included.

Directions

1. Thoroughly cleanse your skin.
2. Apply your favourite facial oil, serum or mist generously on your face and neck to allow the facial roller to glide without dragging your skin.
3. Follow the massage diagram. Use upward and outward movement to firm, lift and tighten; and repeat in one direction (not back and forth) for 8-12 strokes in each area.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Relaxing massage that aids circulation [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a battery-operated face roller that vibrates. You need to moisturise your face first so that the rolling motion feels smooth - facial oils work very well here. The balls have multiple flattened planes that feels like it grips your skin slightly as you roll. It is very easy to use and feels very relaxing. There is also a smaller two-prong exchangable head to do the smaller areas which I use under the eyes. It always feels nice to use this and I'm sure this aids circulation which is a good thing. However, I can't say that I have noticed any visible difference in terms of my face contour or complexion, even though the product description claims to 'visibly sculpt, tone, and tighten your face and neck'. I do own a Foreo Bear which has a more tightening feel, but that's a totally different ball game since it is a microcurrent device that stimulates the facial muscles. The heads are removable for easy cleaning so you don't have to worry about getting the heads oily.

I do not have a lot of time to be able to do this in my morning routine so have made it a night time thing whilst i watch a little tele.. Firstly its easy to use - i like the colour and look of the product..it's comfortable in my hand.. I was happy to see there were under eye attachment as i have heavy puffiness and bags under my eyes... i use the roller with some of my rosehip oil and find it's tingly without being intrusive or uncomfortable - i must say i have seen a slight improvement under my eyes and i can't see too many changes in my face but it is highly relaxing and definitely gets the blood flowing in the face - i will continue to use and see if time is a factor here and it just needs to be a little longer term to see true benefits but the product itself works and is fun and definitely relaxing after a hard day

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great start to my skincare routine. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have mostly used this Roller set before my morning skincare routine. I love how this rollers massage my facial muscles and kind of give me a head start to the day. It is stress relieving and feels so soothing. I also feel it reduces the puffiness, I have around the cheek area in the morning. It requires an AA battery but is not included in the set. It comes with 2 attachments, the roller and an under eye attachment. I find changing the attachments is not an easy task. It is quite difficult to unscrew the previous attachment as it needs to be screwed in tightly as if it is not then the battery connection to the handle does not activate and this means the roller does not switch on. I mean if at times you just want to open the attachment to switch to another one, it opens the battery compartment instead of opening the attachment. I found it quite difficult to switch attachments so I have hardly used the eye attachment. Otherwise the contour roller is brilliant. It feels so luxurious and looks like it is made of quality material. I love to roll it around my jawlines, , around my cheeks and across my forehead. I also roll it in between my nose. I do feel that after I have used it my face does feel toned and lifted. I enjoy the stress relieving feeling whenever I use the roller. It has a sonic vibration ,which helps to improve blood flow on my face giving me the healthy blush.

The concept is good, providing a “ salon at home” type experience however I found the tool to be quite heavy and it tugged at the skin even when using a lot of oil or face product as recommended. I used regularly ( 2x weekly for several weeks but I didn’t see any real improvement in terms of my skin tone, puffiness or contour around my jaw line when compared

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Once again I would like to thank BH and Manicare for sending me the Contour Roller Set as part of the BH Biggest Ever Beauty Trial. I was very excited to try this gadget and put it through its paces so here is what I discovered: PACKAGING: The roller is packaged in a clear plastic box with the navy and white signature Manicare colours that are clean and slick to the eye. Inside the roller is housed in a moulded plastic base with the under-eye attachment beside it. They fit really securely into their compartments so you could take the roller on vacation with you and know that it shouldn't come to any harm. PRODUCT: The roller itself is so pretty. It has a frosted pinkish-lavender handle and a silvery-black top with two faceted rollers and a black base (on switch). You need to twist this base anti-clockwise to remove the casing and insert the AA batteries before twisting it back on. Now when you twist anti-clockwise, the roller begins to vibrate as it should. You simply apply a serum and then use the roller in a downward sweep over your cheek and forehead area (where you sweep up and outwards). The top clicks off and you can insert the eye attachment for use in reducing puffing beneath the eye area. As gadgets go, this one is fairly straight forward to use. PERFORMANCE: Unfortunately, after giving both the roller and under-eye attachment a run for their money I had to discontinue use. The vibrations, even though subtle, were enough to create a vertigo-like effect in me where I started to feel a bit dizzy. I'm sure this is not how most people would feel after use but I have inner-ear issues which seem to have been triggered by the buzzing of the device on my face which is a great shame because I dearly would love to continue using it. All in all, I think for most people this would be a useful tool in toning their facial area but unfortunately, it's not going to be something I can use long term.

You just twist off the base cap and pop 1 AA battery (not included) inside and twist the cap back on. Then to turn it on you twist the base cap ever so slightly and it starts vibrating. What I don't like is that you can't adjust the level/strength of the vibration and I find it too strong for such a delicate area like my face so instead towards the end of this trial I opted to use it without it being battery operated sort of like a regular face roller as I felt more comfortable using it like this and you just apply your own desired pressure. It also comes with 2 interchangeable heads. A Contour roller for sculpting the cheeks and jaw and a t-bar to massage the under eye area. The interchangeable heads are somewhat easy to change. They screw on and off like the battery cap and are also magnetic but sometimes get stuck and I'm worried that over time I'll strip the thread. The device has some weight to it but I wouldn't call it heavy. The device doesn't come with an instrument manual like all other Manicare device I have which is something I don't like. I would rather it have this. There also aren't any warnings listed. When using the Contour Roller I either use it with a serum, facial oil or sheet mask as you need some sort of slip so that the device can easily glide over your skin without dragging the skin plus it's more comfortable. Results wise it gives a nice massage but it definitely hasn't sculpted my face. Overall I really would have loved if the sonic vibration intensity was adjustable as I personally found it way too intense.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I did not like the feeling of the roller [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks Beauty Heaven for the opportunity to trial this contour roller set. I did not like the feeling of the roller on my face, it vibrated my skin and reminded me of being at the dentist. The ahdnle is a pretty lavender, voilet colour and hte balls and under eye attachement are a silver colour. While I do know the ebenefits of massaging the face and stimulating blood flow. I would prefer a gentler option. I found the attachements were a little hard to change, I did not like the screw in option.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really wanting to love this but unfortunately I am stuck with the under eye head attached, the whole piece comes off with the eye attachment so I can't put the roller on. I have continued to use just this attachment but it doesn't seem to be doing much.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Purchased this yesterday. Put new battery in and used it for the first time. The sonic vibration doesn’t work continuously. I need to shake ot love it to get the angle whereby i get connectivity. It’s ridiculous. I will be returning it. When it works it’s very very good.
