General Information

Maize Complex delivers essential, soothing hydration to excessively dry, tight skin. Enriched with a blend of Native Apples, containing antioxidants, and Plant Prebiotics, known to help protect the skin's microbiome, promoting healthier looking skin.

Warnings

Easily recognisable as part of the Sukin range by using their cohesive branding. I love the pump on the Sukin Relief Facial Moisturiser, it gives me just the right amount of product each time so I can not waste any, I also sourcing that I'm not doing fingers into a jar. The fact Sukin Relief Facial Moisturiser comes with a pump, does mean it's a thinner consistency. I find this perfect for mornings when I do not want thick cream. The Sukin Relief Facial Moisturiser sinks into the skin, giving me a lovely plump soft face that is ready to receive SPF and makeup with ease.

The packaging is easy to use with great pump action for safe, hygienic way for dispensing product. It pumps out just enough to conveniently apply in one go. The formula texture is beautiful and applies well on the skin. It is fragrance free and does not irritate the skin upon application. The Sukin Facial Moisturiser is great at keeping skin hydrated and moisturised and after only few days of consistent use, skin felt healthier and more nourished. I would recommend this facial moisturiser. I love Sukin Products but this impressed me with a very powerful performance.

Its a light and quickly absorbing formula, and with regular use, it made my skin soft and supple. Ive use it everyday as a day moisturiser, and top it up with sunscreen. I enjoyed that it was quick to absorb, and had naturL fragrance. Once I finish this bottle, I will be sure to get another one and will recommend to family and friends wanting a natural, light formula perfect for spring and summer months.

I have very sensitive and easily irritated skin, and find it hard to get a basic, light-weight moisturiser that doesn’t leave my skin irritated and oily. The Sukin Skin Relief facial moisturiser hasn’t given me any breakouts. It feels very clean to use, and it doesn’t contain any harmful chemicals. I’ve used it for just about a month each night and I noticed a big difference in my skin’s texture by the end of the first week of trying it. It moisturises my skin and leaves it feeling good for the remainder of the day, although I tend to put it on more before bed. It’s lightweight and doesn’t feel heavy on the skin at all. Highly recommend.

It comes in a plastic bottle with a handy pump applicator so very user friendly. The bottle size is also not too large so you can travel with it if needed. In spring my skin can become more sensitive than usual. So I want a moisturiser that feels very light on the skin and doesn’t irritate me. This Sukin one does the job well. The texture is smooth and it feels extremely light on the skin, absorbs quickly and has no residue leftover. I found for optimal results I liked to pair this moisturiser with a light serum as my skin is really dry right now. By itself it’s still great to use providing a good amount of hydration and it feels very soothing on the skin. With lots of natural ingredients and almost no fragrance this moisturiser is a joy to use. Overall an affordable great everyday moisturiser from Sukin.

I love that this product is Australian made with Natural Ingredients which includes with a blend of Native Apples and plant prebiotics. It is also vegan and cruelty free product. I love the pump bottle as it's hygienic and easy to pump out the product. Perfect size too as it's only 125ml. Love that this product is Dermatologically tested. My skin tend to be sensitive and dry with some certain product but this moisturizer is just perfect and soothing on my skin leaving it feeling hydrated throughout the whole day. Paraben and Fragrance Free is such a bonus as some certain product contain perfume which makes my nose itchy and sensitive.It is always good to know I am applying no nasty, natural product on my skin as I know it will not do any harm to my skin and the environment. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good natural moisturizer and suffer from dry and sensitive skin to try this out.

It's fragrance free and the texture is more like lotion, not cream，definitely feeling safe to use on my sensitive skin. Texture is very lightweight，not too thick or oily, and easy to apply, skin can also absorb the moisturizer quickly leaving a soft refreshed feeling and touch. In saying this, this is one of my favourite sukin products which I will definitely purchase as it felt super refreshing on my skin! As well as keeping it feeling super soft and smooth! The pump bottle also makes ir super easy and convenient to get the product out. I say 9/10 thank you beauty heaven for the trial! Also feel free to apply as little or as much as you like!

The sukin moisturiser is also fragrance free and hypoallergenic so great for sensitive noses and is made from plant and prebiotics to help the normal skin microbiome. My mother tried the moisturiser and also my daughters one liked the texture and also my friends were asking what Product was giving me my natural glow. The sukin moisturiser is also very affordable.

It was gentle on my sensitive skin and didn't cause any irritation, fantastic it is fragrance free and when applied left skin silky, smooth and soft. After every use my skin felt nourished, hydrated and beautifully pampered. A little goes a long way and I like that I can see how much product is left in the bottle as I use it. I have found this moisturiser has settled the itchiness I have been suffering from and I will continue to use and happily recommend to others, fantastic.

At the first pump, I did NOT like the smell. It smells a little strange. I've been using it for a few weeks now and I can say I've gotten used to the scent but it's still not a very lovely smell. I wouldn't wear this before going out or underneath make-up, only at night or when I'm staying home. It is fragrance-free but it smells more like herbs in a not-nice way. Other than the smell, its a gentle moisturiser and does what it says, it reliefs and calms the skin. I have irritated and eczema-prone sensitive skin and this worked well with my skin. I will continue using this. Thank you beautyheaven.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Saje from Real Skin Relief for Sensitive Distressed Skin [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sukin Skin Relief Facial Moisturiser is an Australian made product, containing natural ingredients including native ingredients like emu apple extract and it comes in recyclable packaging. This paraben and fragrance-free moisturiser which is enriched with plant prebiotics and maize complex is PH balanced and designed to soothe and hydrate excessively dry tight skin and it delivers on its promises. With the change of season my skin has been tight, dry and itchy so having the opportunity to try this product has been awesome as I would usually have purchased an anti-aging product. This moisturiser comes in a 125 ml dark amber pump pack which is made of recyclable plastic which is BPA free. A single pump delivers a generous amount of thick, creamy moisturiser with a barely detectable scent. This is a moisturiser which is designed to be gently massaged into the skin of the face, neck and décolletage and I found the single pump was plenty to cover the entire area. This is a rich moisturiser that takes a little longer to absorb than my normal moisturiser, and given how much better my skin is feeling the extra minute added to my morning routine is worth it. My skin feels soft and is no longer tight or itchy. It was so good I have even purchased the Sukin Skin Relief Body Lotion which has been a saviour for the itchiness I have been getting on my arms and legs. I will definitely be repurchasing this product any time my skin is going through a tight, dry or itchy phase (usually the change of each season) as it has definitely delivered the promised skin relief. It is also really good value for money and can often be found on special.

However, the residue left at the head of the pump did dry up into the head of the dispenser overnight and became noticeable as a small dried lump when applying the moisturiser on the face. That issue aside, the moisturiser itself was very enjoyable to use. One pump was enough for the face. It was odourless and sunk into the skin without leaving a greasy feeling. After two weeks of use, it left the skin feeling and looking more supple. It layered well under sunscreen as well as over other products.

I admit I was pleasantly surprised - nourishing and smooth, this is the one for me. With sensitive and dry skin, Sukin Skin Relief Facial moisturiser was surprisingly nourishing, mild scent, no irritant and luxuriously smooth to the touch. Applied after cleansing it gradually settles into the skin, it’s not greasy, glides on easily and is all-day lasting. Easy to use pump, twist to close off (handy for travel), great price point. Applied am and pm, a little goes a long way. Overall, it’s heavier than my usual product and it took a little adjusting to. I can now use just the right amount for my skins needs, covering the face and neck. Skin feels fresh and firm!

Their Skin Relief Facial Moisturiser was lovely to use, and I am going to keep using it! This moisturiser has a nice consistency with no strong fragrance, smooths in easily into the skin, and leaves the skin soft and nourished with no unwanted greasiness. I have found it doesn't lead to excess oiliness throughout the day, but keeps my skin happy and calm. The moisturiser is easy to disperse from the pump pot, and a little goes a long way! I also love the ethos of the brand and all the great natural values they represent too. Overall would recommend this as an affordable and good quality moisturiser!

I find it soothing as my skin is tight in the morning after my shower. Sukin skin relief moisturiser is well absorbed, and I have noticed that my skin is both plumper and smoother since I started using it. My skin is generally sensitive and dry, and it is great to find a natural product that works so effectively. Another positive aspect of Sukin skin relief moisturiser is that a little goes a long way. One press of the pump gave me a very generous amount of white, thick, creamy Sukin Skin Relief Facial moisturising product to distribute onto my face, neck and decoltette. The cream quickly and easily was absorbed into my skin, leaving my face looking matt and moisturised. No shiny patches. I used this moisturiser each morning and night after cleansing and toning. In the morning my face looked fresh and rested. During the day my face kept well moisturised. I did not need to reapply. I also love the fact that this moisturiser contains no parabens, sulphates, mineral oils or other not needed substances. The bottle contains 125 mls and is very lightweight, not like those cosmetics in the heavy, fancy containers that give the illusion they contain more. The label was difficult for me to read, especially on the left and right side as the print is very small but this is the only negative thing I could say about the product's packaging.

For me this meant that it was very easy to spread and I could tell straight away that it would absorb well. I applied this cream both morning and night after cleansing and felt that it quenched my face thoroughly and helped relieve dryness without making it feel tight. I've never used ingredients that this Sukin moisturiser includes such as Kangaroo Apple or Emu Apple and I felt it was kind to my skin without having any reactions. It is a very gentle product to use, does not include any fragrance and I absolutly love that Sukin does not include any nasties. The price range of Sukin products I find is very budget friendly and anyone who has a family and likes to take care of their skin health would benefit from this gentle moisturiser that nourishes the skin.

It was nice that my skin didn't react as it tends to be on the sensitive side Geared towards those with sensitive skin, it has no fragrance which is a bonus. The texture isn't too thick and a little does goes a long way. Australian made, Vegan and cruelty-free I will definitely purchase this product again

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ethelinde from Inexpensive moisturiser with natural ingredients [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is everything you want in an inexpensive but good moisturiser full of mostly natural, emollient, and nourishing ingredients. The consistency is creamy with medium viscosity and always leaves my skin feelingly instantly replenished and supple. There are notably some interesting and beneficial ingredients in this formulation, including a maize complex, a blend comprising native apples (emu apple and kangaroo apple), and plant prebiotics derived from wheat and beetroot. Although the bottle is small, very little goes a long way and even a 5c size squirt is sufficient to cover the whole face. Not only is the price point accessible for all but it is also a great option for sensitive skin types as it does not contain any known irritants or fragrance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by mycatssaymeow from Very nice affordable moisturiser [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually use higher end skincare from places like Mecca and Sephora, so I didn’t have very high expectations of this product, but I was pleasantly surprised in the end. I like that the formula is quite light and fragrance free. The fragrance free aspect was a major plus for me, as I find a lot of the more affordable skin care options to be repulsively fragranced (eg I cannot use anything by L’Oréal as I can smell it on my skin for hours). Another thing that I really enjoyed about this moisturiser is that it applied beautifully over essences and serums… it spread and absorbed nicely, unlike some other moisturisers that turn waxy upon application on damp skin and do not absorb. I also like that it comes in a 125ml pump bottle… this is a generous offering for a facial moisturiser and makes it very convenient to apply when your hands are damp from other products (I’ve dropped countless jars and bottles with pipettes due to wet slippery hands). As a tretinoin user, it didnt quite have the nourishment factor I need in the PM, but it is perfect in the AM and I think I’ll enjoy it even more in the Summer when my skin is not as dry.

Great for sensitive skin. I was using this in the morning as a base application because it does not contain SPF. So this goes on first followed by my normal day cream. Fabulous to use in the evening after cleansing. It gave me the feeling of renewal for my skin. First thing in the morning I had a brighter look to my skin. It did not have any effect in the negative. I am happy to keep using but not as my main face moisturiser during the day.

I have very sensitive skin that tend to get dry very easily. Being a natural and fragrance free product, it helped to hydrate my face throughout the day. I tend to avoid thick moisturisers. This particular sukin product is very light and doesn’t make face look too oily either. I loved the combination of natural ingredients used, which promotes the growth of skin biome as a probiotic. I intend to continue using this product.

It didn't feel oily or greasy, like I thought it might. It felt good against my highly sensitive, dry skin straight away. I had no breakouts from using this product, which quite often happens with me. It is a product I would use all the time, not just on trial. I love that it's Australian made, dermatologically tested with no added nasties. The pump made it seem hygienic and is easy to use. My skin feels healthier having used it.

I immediately noticed the thick and creamy texture as well as the very delicate, barely- there scent. I applied the product liberally and it felt cooling as it caressed the tired skin of my face, neck and decolletage. At first I was a little surprised that the cream seemed to not absorb immediately, rather sitting on the skin in a fine film. This however was only momentary and my skin drank in the deeply nourishing cream. The next morning, my skin felt wonderfully soft and calm. I applied a lesser but still generous amount after cleansing my face in the morning and was easily able to apply my usual liquid foundation afterwards, with no streaking. I've been using this product for over a week, morning and night and I love how soft my skin feels. It's a very comforting and nurturing product and at a very affordable price point. I intend to continue to include it in my daily routine.

It's ingredients are simple and effective, as well as silicone and fragrance free - always a benefit. I also like that the preservatives in this are generally quite natural and not overly harsh. However, because of this I would recommend using it up relatively quickly. Love all the fruit extracts in the moisturiser for added antioxidants. Overall I would repurchase this moisturiser to still use in conjunction with various serums to address certain skin concerns (e.g. anti-ageing, brightness, clogged pores) just because I don't think there is enough active targeting ingredients in this moisturiser.

I love it so much. My skin feels softer, smoother and so much better hydrated. The facet the Sukin Skin Relief Facial Moisturiser has been enriched with prebiotics and maize complex is really brilliant! I love that it has no scent also, cannot stand fake sweet smells in my skin care range. My son is exceptionally sunburnt at the moment, and he is finding this moisturiser incredibly soothing - so far so good, he hasn't peeled. Thanks Sukin for providing a great product at an affordable price.

It hydrates and softens my skin leaving it like silk.Its like it instant know my skin is in need of moisturiser for my face ,neck and decolletage.After using Sukin facial Moisturiser my face does not have that yucky tight feeling that I get when my skin is under so much stress. It really does Moisturiser, Is not heavy on or greasy, it's very light on . It's a white creamy texture, that goes on nice. Best thing it doesn't contain all the Nasties. Love that it's Australian made.

Rated 5 out of 5 by laelia001 from great everyday product when i first started using this brand of skin care ( specifically this product ), i had a positive outcome within a week, not to mention the smell it lovely. i noticed that my skin felt softer and remotely hydrated, but i feel like it could be just a liiitle bit more thicker so you get that little bit extra hydration in the skin on the face. it might just be my skin but that’s how i feel how it would help people with my skin type and myself. overall a pleasant product and brand of skin care to work with.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ashhig06 from Its great Natural formulation and provides the skin some moisture relief. After using for 2 weeks my skin did not react as i have sensitive skin. This moisture cream has no scent which i prefer then other moisturisers. It absorbs nicely in the skin but beware it does leave a film like texture. If your not one who doesn't like this kind of finish i would not recommend. It kind of feels like a hand cream after on my hands after every application. Overall its not too bad for a moisturiser for general use with sensitive skin
