Directions

Use twice a day after cleansing and toning, and before moisturizer. Apply evenly on face until the serum is absorbed. Use with a UV product in the daytime. It makes me feel like I am doing that little bit extra for my skin. My skin is reasonably problem free. I rarely have any issues. So this serum went on nicely and absorbed well. I like a fuss free easy skin care routine. So this serum fitted in nicely to my daily routine. I feel a serum helps add that little bit extra moisture to my skin. Which is what I need where I live. The applicator was so easy to use and I really liked it. A little bit goes a long way with this product.

It contains a dropper like wand that ensures not too much product was wasted but I had enough for one whole face application. The serum was very light weight and hydrating and my skin lapped it up. It didn’t leave any oilyness either which was a bonus just soaked right in! While I didn’t see any major difference in my skins tone or texture I would purchase this again for the hydration part. The ingredients are a great idea and totally up to date with technology with a brand name that can be trusted with its longevity on the skincare market

I received this as a sample alongside the moisturising cream on the same line with the same ingredients. Smells great, great texture. I love the combination of AHA and Niacinimide - two of the best skin ingredients you can get. Would purchase it again! I use this serum at night before bed and layered it with a vitamin A serum, three days a week. Niacinamide is meant to increase glow and reduce dark spots while I didn't use the product long enough to see any changes, I am looking forward to seeing how this works once I've used up the whole bottle to the end. However, my skin is glowing, clear and healthy!

This serum along with the moisturiser has done wonders. I have seen some visible changes in my skin and I am literally very happy with the results. My skin feels soft and smooth. I have less visible wrinkles as well. I have realised that my skin looks alot fresher and less dull. Doing makeup on top of this serum is very easy. No irritation or skin reactions at all. I am definitely recommending this product to my friends and family and will be purchasing more for myself in the upcoming days. I love this product.

I have somewhat sensitive skin and often look for products that are specifically gentle, for sensitive skin, or without any harsh ingredients. I had no issues with my skin sensitivity with this, so if you're in the same boat I'd recommend giving it a go. My skin was consistently clear while using the serum, and I found that the overall tone of my skin was nice and even after a few weeks of use. The serum itself was lightweight, yet moisturising.

The smell is very pleasant as usual. Although it contains AHA which does it job to smooth the skin, it does not feel irritating at all which is amazing. The only thing is that I think it may contain Titanium dioxide as well which makes skin look brighter but just like a false effect (like some physical sunscreen). I have purchased more than 5 bottles of classic nicotinamide serum and I believe the old formula has the same imperfection as well. Would appreciate in future this ingredient could be taken out. Will probably repurchase the item.

They definitely felt like a lot of high-end products I’ve used from day spas previously. I did not notice reduction in my pores, but I’m fortunate to have quite small pores already. They are definitely not a concern for me so I may not have been looking as closely as I could otherwise. I did notice my skin texture improve while using the products, it was great to Slough off the dead skin cells chemically. My skin definitely seemed both smoother and brighter after prolonged consistent use. My skin tone was definitely more even and balanced, and I did notice that several spots/breakouts that I had over the time seemed to resolve more quickly than they would otherwise. The only downside of this product is that I did notice some irritation in the more sensitive spots of my face- I tend to get eczema and sensitive skin particularly around my eyes, so I have to be very careful not to use the product around them in order to stop any irritation. I also reduced using the serum to night time only to minimise this. I’d recommend products to others, I definitely consider re-purchasing as a price is so good for the result.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Olay niacinamide + Aha serum for a few months now morning and night. I have found it to be such a great product. You can purchase from any drug store or supermarket at a reasonable price. I liked the packaging with the easy to use dropper applicator which allows for the right amount each use. It also has a lovely scent not too overpowering. It feels really nice on the skin, not sticky and absorbs well. I didn’t have any bad reactions or sensitivity. I have acne scaring and redness and I found my skin to be smoother and more moisturised. I am keen to keep using this product along with the Olay moisturiser. It does recommend using a good spf as well which I have been doing to avoid sun damage.

I have been using the serum for the last couple of weeks, the first thing I noticed was it comes with the same twist dropper top like some of their other serums which I like. It also has a strong smell but it's pleasant not to over powering. The texture is really light weight and absorbs into the skin quickly and leaves my skin feeling so soft, smooth and nourished. I haven't noticed any difference in my sun spots but that may take some time. I love the feeling it leaves on my face and will continue to use it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great all rounder serum if you’re looking to simplify your routine and multitask! I love the idea of it having both vit B and AHA’s in it, and I was pleasantly surprised at how gentle it was! I used it daily at night (I use vit c in the day) and I didn’t notice any major improvements in the period that I used it for, but I didn’t have any adverse reactions and it played very well with my Other skincare! I can see how for people who haven’t used a lot of skincare in the past, this would make a big difference in the skin texture and clarity. It’s a great starting place if you haven’t used a lot of actives before.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anna A. from Moisturising and brightening serum [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was fortunate enough to be included in the review crew for this new Olay product- Niacinamide + AHA Super Serum which is aimed specifically at reducing redness and discolouration. To start with, I am a big fan of Olay products because they have great formulations, backed by thorough research and is routinely on sale at grocery stores and chemists making them super accessible. I was very excited to use this product as my major skin concern is hyperpigmentation and Niacinamide is great at addressing this, as is AHA, in this instance lactic acid which is a gentle AHA- again a great ingredient to address hyperpigmentation. I am 37 years old and have 'normal' skin that can lean dry, particularly in cooler months. I used this serum day and night. In the AM, I keep my routine simple and use this directly on my skin after splashing water on my face, vitamin c Serum (though this also includes vitamin C I usually like to use a Vit C specific Serum but that might be doubling up?) followed by SPF. I also used this in the evenings following a double cleanse and after a moisturising toner, again followed be serums and moisturiser. I was only able to use this serum for 3 weeks from the time I received this product so unfortunately it was too soon to see any impact it may have on my hyperpigmentation (apparently observations made using this serum saw participants see a difference in 8 weeks). However, first impressions is that I enjoyed using this serum and found it to be moisturising and thick but easily applied to skin and quickly absorbed. The serum has a pleasant scent that does not linger. The glass bottle it comes in has dropper that refills when closed. I used a full dropper to cover my face and neck. I found this serum to be a lovely addition to my routine- and replaced it with another Olay pigmentation targeting Serum from their Pro-X range which is slightly dearer than this serum however i found this serum's bottle better with its self refilling dropper and glass bottle making it feel quite luxe. My skin was quite even prior (having used serums that address my skin tone) and I believe this serum helped maintain my even skin tone and brightness. It played well with my other serums and products and I would highly recommend this. I can't wait to see what the results will be like after several months of consecutive use.

I used the serum and moisturiser in the morning and evening. In the morning I apply SPF after the moisturiser. The products have a light and fresh scent which is not too overpowering. The textures of the serum and moisturiser are lovely and absorb easily into the skin. Since trilling the products I have noticed an improvement in the texture of my skin. My skin feels a lot smoother, my pores have reduced, and my skin is brighter. My skin tone has also improved as I don’t need to wear make up during the day. I would recommend these products to anyone looking for an easy way to incorporate Niacinamide and AHA into their skincare routine from a trusted brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Olay Luminous Niacinamide+ AHA serum is such great value for money when compared to expensive serums! I have used the serum since winter has started in Melbourne and have noticed a considerable improvement in my skin, compared to this time last year! There’s a reduction in visible pores, my skin is not flaky or dry and hasn’t reacted poorly to the serum. I’ve noticed in photos, my skin looks bright and healthier. Highly recommend this product as it makes your skin look and feel hydrated and nice. As a result, it forms a great base for foundation and make up. It absorbs well and comes in a premium looking package. It’s not as strong as other serums I’ve used in the past. Therefore. It’s taken a bit longer to see results. However, I am really happy with how my skin looks compared to before using the serum and again, it’s so affordable so I will definitely purchase when it runs out!

The serum has a pleasant smell and applies well to the skin - absorbs quickly and doesn’t pill or leave any unwanted residue. The serum didn’t irritate my sensitive skin, and there might have been a slight improvement in dark spots, but I think extended use is required to see any significant results. I think this is a nice serum, especially if you can pick it up on sale, but I think there are definitely other products that can achieve the same results.

This serum melted into the skin nicely, the consistency of it is spot on and soaked in and left a smooth, plumping feeling. I also really liked the smell of this serum - fresh and refreshing. I think this serum made my skin appear brighter, and more even and hydrated. Whilst using this I put it on after the shower before the moisturiser from the same range, I also trialled it by itself and like the feeling of using it solely too.

The dropper automatically fills up when you open the lid, very clever. The bottle is sturdy and the lid screws on securely. The serum has a silky feeling finish and absorbs quickly into the skin. It has a subtle fragrance, a fresh scent – I quite like it. After using the serum in conjunction with the matching moisturizer from the same range for three weeks I am very impressed with the results. My skin looks and feels much brighter, softer and smoother. It feels hydrated and my overall appearance is more even. I have a few sunspots on my temples that are starting to look less noticeable. I will continue to use this serum and I will probably repurchase it, because it really has made a difference to my skin. I also like that Olay is such an accessible brand, easy to buy at plenty of supermarkets and pharmacies and it’s often on half price special, making it an affordable option for such a lovely product.

I’ve been a huge fan of AHA’s and Niacinamide since they became trendy a few years back and incorporate both serums/acids into my daily skin care regime. Knowing that this new product from Olay has both products with one is such a draw card as it’s cutting one whole step from my current regime (and will save me $$ in the long run). This product smells great, does not irritate my skin and is easy to apply. I’ve been using it instead of my usual acid/serums for a few weeks and haven’t had any break outs or issues, and my skin is looking clear, pimple free and fresh. Love the concept, love the packaging and love that there’s a matching moisturiser to go with. New fan!

Used in conjunction with the matching Olay moisturiser, my wrinkles and fine lines (particularly those around my eyes and mouth) are less pronounced and the overall natural glow is more noticeable. My makeup also goes on a lot nicer and it feels smoother. I will continue to use and repurchase this serum and recommend to those who have similar skincare concerns and want an affordable product that really works! I’m also very keen to add an Olay cleanser to my routine!

I personally have sensitive skin so a light product like this is perfect for me. Normally scented products tend to irritate my skin but this one didn’t at all, and the fragrance is really lovely and delicate. The only reason I’m giving it 3 stars is because I honestly can’t say I’ve noticed any difference in my skin since using this, however it has only been a few weeks so it might need a bit more time. I also really like the bottle design and the little pump dispenser as it ensures it always dispenses just the right amount of serum

It was quite watery and felt like a little went a long way. Did I experience any of the benefits which were promoted on the package? No- but I suspect it takes a while longer to have any impact. Be aware that there is quite a strong fragrance (smells like candy to me!), which I didn't mind, but some people might not like that it is so heavily perfumed. The packaging is quite nice, the pump was easy enough to use. The only downside was that there was no way to tell how much product was in the bottle.

I do like how gentle the serum is on my skin (especially for someone like myself who has sensitive skin) and the fact that it is light. It absorbs into my skin nice and quick, so I can go on to apply moisturiser after. The scent is also really lovely and subtle (but very pleasant). The serum goes on easily and feels great on my skin. I only gave it 3 stars purely because after using it for a few weeks I haven't noticed any difference in my skin, however it might just take a bit longer to get any noticeable difference. The bottle is a nice clean design and I love the little pump dispenser, as it ensures I always dispense the correct amount of product. Overall a lovely product, however not entirely sure how effective it is just yet.
