Directions

I love the thin but pigmented formula, and how lightweight it feels on the lips. Love the shade range and would definitely recommend to others.

The product has great colour pay off and applies really easily due to the shape of the applicator. They stay on for hours without the need to reapply and didn’t leave my lips dry. Would definitely recommend this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I am not one, usually, for liquid lipsticks but I wanted to change it up with these lip inks - I am so glad I did!\n\nThese are incredibly light weight and like no other liquid lip/lip ink I have tried. They feel very light on the lips and have a very movable and slippy texture. More others feel very thick and like actual paint. The only downside to how 'slippy' these are is you may find it streaks a lot easier on application but it is quite easy to even out the finish. \n\nThe doe foot applicator is a perfect size and shape to hug the contours of your lips and apply the product evenly and precisely. They have a very subtle vanilla (maybe ?) scent which I don't think is too strong or overpowering so for sensitive skins and/or noses you should be okay with this one!\n\nThe darker shades seem to stain pretty well. I say 'well' because I don't see this as a bad thing and I also found all of them to come off quite easily with my oil cleanser - no problems there. \n\nOverall I think these are an utterly fantastic option!\n

The formula doesn’t have a sticky feel and lasts all day without fading, cracking or needing to be reapplied. They’re highly pigmented and are hard to remove at the end of the day but they’re so worth it. I love how there’s 12 colours available in their range, there’s a colour to suit every skin type.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from the L’Oréal Paris Rouge Signature Lip Ink lip product was easy to apply, did not flake and felt comfortable on the lips. The darker colours (not the nude) left a very nice stain after the actual lip product faded throughout the day due to eating and drinking. The stain lasted until the end of the night and faded nicely without patching up. I was then able to remove most of it with a waterproof eye and lip makeup remover. My only con to the lip ink is the smell of the product, however that disappears after the product dries. The product glides on smoothly with satin texture and dries complete matte. it does not exaggerated dry lips and actually hides some of the dryness which i really liked as I have very dry skin. Overall great product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Application is efficient through the use of a tear drop applicator and it glides on smoothly. It dries quickly after application leaving a stain of colour on your lips. The only downfall is that this ‘stain’ is particularly difficult to remove from your lips and occasionally leaves your lips tinted this colour the next day. This could however be deemed a bonus due to its longevity - up to at least five hours wear, including used whilst eating - as many strive to wear a lipstick that lasts 24hrs. Overall this is a beautiful product that I believe many will appreciate: especially due to its range of 12 shades.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I received three L'Oreal Paris Rouge Signature Lip Ink lipsticks for review.\n\nI'll start by saying I'm not a fan of liquid lipsticks. In the past I've found them hard to work with, drying and with an uneven fade and crumbliness. I didn't find that with this product! \n\nFirst of all, the packaging is nice. Not cheap feeling and with a fantastic wand which made for precise application. No need for a lip liner with these.\n\nThe product applies evenly in one coat and is very pigmented. It didn't make my lips dry, tight or uncomfortable, although with the colour 'I Rule' I did think I'm emphasised the wrinkles in my lips. The colours lasted well for around 4 - 5 hours, even when drinking/eating nongreasy food. The fade was somewhat uneven, but not enough to put me off wearing them when out. It was easy enough to wipe off the rest from my lips and reapply. \n\nOf the three colours I received (I Rule, Empower and I Am Worth It) my favourite was I'm Worth It, a classic cool red.\nIt's probably the least fussy red lipsticks I've ever worked with! Once applied I didn't worry about it until hours later, and even then it was wearing well. I will definitely continue to wear this colour when I'm going out. \n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The colours I received in the trial (Rule, Empower, I Am Worth It) are all cool-toned and don't suit my dark and warm skin. Which is a damn shame because the formula of this lipstick is really quite nice. It's fairly thin though packs a mean pigment. It applies smoothly and doesn't feel uncomfortable on the lips. I'd definitely be keen to check this lipstick out in other, better suited colours.

The formula was so light weight I didn't think it would last at all....... but it did. I love matte finishes on my lips and this product didn't disappoint. My only complaint is I found it very hard to remove the colour stain from my lips. \n\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I really enjoyed this product. The pigment is strong and the formula is very long wearing. I found I got about 5 hours out of it before I needed to reapply. It also wore evenly and didn’t chip or flake, so I could get away without reapplying once it began to wear if I needed to.  \nMy favourite thing about these lip inks was the shape of the applicator. The tear-drop shape made it really easy to get a sharp, precise shape, and I found I didn’t need a lip liner. Total winner! The packaging is also luxe and feels very high end.\nI would definitely purchase again. For the price point, they’re a great product.\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I was super excited to try the L’Oreal Paris Rouge Signature Lip Ink. I haven't worn a liquid lipstick in a while, so wasn't sure how I would find this product. When I first applied it, I was surprised at how thin and lightweight it felt. It was almost water like on my lips, which I really enjoyed. The colour lasted well throughout the day, and I found after eating and drinking and spending a whole day at work, it left a nice stain on my lips when it began to fade. It definitely kept my lips feeling hydrated, and not dry like many other liquid lipsticks. The only downfall for me was I found it quite hard to remove at the end of the day. Even though I liked the stained look during the day, it was difficult to get it all of my lips.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from L’Oreal Paris Rouge Signature Lip Ink has an amazing texture, it is extremely light weight, it comes with an applicator wand that makes it super easy to apply, giving you control on how much goes on. I didn't need a lip liner which is a massive plus. \nIt comes in a selection of really flattering shades, I find the darker shades stay better, as in I've drank my morning coffee, ate breakfast, sip water and it is midmorning and I still have in on my lips better, first application was at 6:50am. \nI really like how ultra thin and super pigmented it is, it feels nice on the lips, without drying them. \nI will keep buying L’Oreal Paris Rouge Signature Lip Ink.\n\n

I think there is also a good range of colour choices which will suit most people. The red is gorgeous and definitely my favourite.

I usually steer away from matte stains as it doesn’t give a nice look because my lips are dry but these were fantastic as they were easy to apply and still gave a full colour non flakey look even when they were dry. Super impressed that the colour stayed on even after I ate. I still put a layer of gloss over it but that’s personal preference it still looks good without it

Rated 4 out of 5 by from L’Oréal Paris Rouge Signature Lip Ink\nDefinitely easy to make a bold statement with these lips inks , silky to glide on like a soft gloss and drys matte within a few seconds. Long lasting formula that wasn’t drying on the lips each of the three shades I trialled were equal to each other in last long throughout the day even with eating and drinking. Bold striking colours along with natural nudes as well would not be very hard to find your right shade with the 12 maxing shades that would be  complimenting shades for different complexions.Also didn’t need much lip prep for optimum effect in long lasting colour overall very happy with is product many would agree this is a stand out in the L’Oréal Paris Range of lip wear. With this range also found it wasn’t age defined many different ages could wear this lip wear.\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I received these in the post and felt that I needed to try them immediately. Of the three colours one was not quite my colour so I gave to my mother to try. This is a combined review. The product glides on effortlessly and the shape of the doe foot it is perfect for precise application. The product does not feel tacky or gummy and dries quite quickly with no cracking throughout the day. It does last quite well however the application is needed a little later on. The colour range is suited quite quite well two different skin tones and the consistency is great for different skin types as well as aging skin with fine lines. Definitely a product I would repurchase

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I have long been a fan of liquid-to-matte lipsticks and have tried a variety of brands from drugstore to high-end so I was pleased to get the opportunity to trial the new L’Oreal Paris Rouge Signature Lip Ink. The packaging is understated and elegant with a twist click lid and frosted barrel with an unusual splade-shaped applicator that allows for a more precise line on application. The product has a delicate, thin consistency and felt noticeably light, with a pleasant vague smell of baked goods, yet despite the lightweight texture had excellent pigmentation and staying power throughout the day, with none of the cracking, crumbling, drying or flaking of other thicker liquid-to-matte products. There are 12 very wearable shades to choose from - I had "I Empower" (a perfect daily nude), "I Rule" a delicate mauvey pink and "I Don't", a showstopping red. The other great thing about finding an excellent L’Oreal product is that by shopping smart, you should be able to find it at up to 50% off at any of your favourite beauty retailers, making this an excellent value item and one that I would recommend for all fans of easy to wear matte lips.

The nude colour (Empower) is definitely not the colour for everyone I’d say only  someone super fair could pull it off. The bright red is definitely a favourite colour though for me out of three.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I’m relatively new to the liquid lip bandwagon so I was curious to try L’Oreal’s take on it. Of the three shades I was given to trial I Am Worth It (a striking red) and I Rule (a dark mauve pink) were my favourites. I Empower (a nude) just did not suit my pale skin tone and left me looking rather dead... \nWhilst I had to be a bit more careful in my application as I am used to the more traditional creamy “bullet” style lipsticks, I was pleasantly surprised by how precise I could be due to the Lip Ink’s pointed - almost arrow head shaped - applicator. It was so much easier to apply compared to the more common doe foot applicators. I loved the fact it was super pigmented, a little really does go a long way, and I liked the lightweight matte formula. It felt barely there when dried and I found it did not dry out my lips, a common issue for me with other liquid lipsticks. On the downside, and the reason it didn’t score higher, was that it did not wear well. The colour payoff is great, but I found it transferred onto everything no matter how long I left it to dry. The red shade was the worst of the three, the pink didn’t transfer as much but it was noticeable. It didn’t last the day, I have tried other liquid formulas that have amazing longevity - but this isn’t one of them. After lunch I usually had to reapply my lip colour. My other criticism is that the pink shade in particular was incredibly hard to remove and stained my lips for two days afterwards! This was even after I used L’Oreal’s own oil based makeup remover as their website recommended. \n

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I unfortunately wasn't a massive fan of this product. It has everything you would probably want in a lip colour, except that it transfers so easily. It glides on smoothly, and is so lightweight, which is surprising for how highly pigmented it is! But for me I found it quite a messy formula. It dries down from liquid to matte, but I found (especially with the red) I was getting red all over my hands. Somehow I kept finding smudges of red pigment eeeeeverywhere, even though I am always so careful not to touch my face at all during the day. Somehow where there is a will there's a way, and this lipstick made its way onto my hands, my clothes, and anything I touched. Which is a massive shame for all the other great things this product has going for it!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from These liquid matte lipsticks have a lot going for them. For starters I have never seen such an effective doe foot applicator in my life. It's sort of flat which creates a really nice point that makes drawing out your lip line really easy. Most of the time I need to draw out my lips with a lip liner, but I could a really sharp, precise line with just the applicator. \nThe consistency feels really smooth and soft, almost like velvet, once it has dried on your lips. And the formula is quite thin so it doesn't feel  or look cakey and heavy on your lips and it dries in appropriate time (it doesn't dry as you're applying, will be dry within a minute of application) I didn't find the dryness to be too uncomfortable. I've experienced mattes that have been both better and worse so I think it falls into that expected middle ground. \nI tried out three colours: 'I Rule' - purple, 'I Am Worth It' - red and 'I Empower' - nude. 'I Rule' was the purple mauve colour. Being really fair, it didn't really flatter my skin, but it would look amazing and pop really well on darker skin tones. 'I Am Worth It' looks like a very burnt orange red and I was sort of nervous about that colour, but when I took out and put it on it was actually a really lovely cool toned blue red that would suit every skin tone.  The pigment in these two purple and red colours was pretty good. It wasn't patchy or streaky when applying and there were only a couple of really tiny spaces that need a little bit extra as I was putting it on. 'I Empower' is a classic nude. I thought it would like concealer on me, but it actually looked pretty decent on. The pigment on this one isn't as good as the other two. It looks like a sheer nude tint, and you definitely need to let it dry and then apply another coat to get that fuller coverage. I am sucker for a natural pink so I mixed both the red and the nude together and made a really beautiful rosy colour.\nUnfortunately, it transfers a lot. I tried to combat this by blotting with a tissue after it had tried, but it just kept coming off. Normally, a matte lipstick will transfer some residue and then it wouldn't leave any marks after those first few contacts, but even an hour later I could run my fingers along my lips and a significant amount of pigment would be left on my finger. Because of this, I found the colours didn't really last very long, especially the nude colour. You'll will have to reapply every time you eat and sip. \nIt ticks off every box except for staying on and lasting. If you're looking for a beautiful colour and want a simple and precise application, this is the liquid lipstick for you.\n

I love the colours and tried to wear with a bit of lip balm underneath for a few days and it was better then, but still quite drying for my lips. \n

Beyond that, they're great, the applicator is excellent and allows for precise application, nice matte finish without feeling dry and very long wearing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from While this lip colour was comfortable to wear I found it wore off so quickly! I was really disappointed when I applied a coat and the colour was just not there! When I applied a second coat the colour was more visible. The formula seemed more of a satin when first applied which makes it more comfortable and less drying however the colour was gone after my first meal. Definitely not an ink. If you are looking for long lasting and pigmented don't purchase this. If you are looking for comfortable and you are willing to reapply constantly then go for it but honestly for that price I'd expect more. Better off spending an extra $5-$10 for a better quality lip colour.

Finding a good one is a kink for me.\nI have dark lips to pigmentation is a key component and I have big lips, so if they dry my lips out, it ain't gonna look great.\n\nUnfortunately, This product was not my jam.\nIt was runny and not very pigmented. It also kinda dried out my lips.\nThe colour range given didnt really suite my skin tone either. :(\n\nI think if you have light to olive skin tone and you like the colours it may be a good product for you.
