General Information

Part of the Tommee Tippee Made for Me range of breastfeeding products, this Silicone Breast Pump is designed to offer simple and discreet expression for life on the go. We want to support your breastfeeding journey by enabling you to feed your baby wherever and whenever you want, so this completely portable and silent pump has a clever 3-in-1 design. It can offer relief to engorged breasts, catch let-down milk while you feed baby from the opposite breast or act as a gentle, manual pump to express. With a capacity of 100mls, it's compact and lightweight for effective suction and attachment. Simply squeeze the pump and place over your breast. Once you let go of the pump, it will create suction against your skin and gently draw out milk. Squeeze the pump as much or as little as you need to relieve discomfort and continue to squeeze if you want to express fully. Complete with a sterilising lid, you can effectively and hygienically sterilise your pump so it's ready for use. Simply add 30mls of water to a clean pump, secure the lid and pop in the microwave for 4 minutes*. Allow the pump to cool for at least 2 minutes before removing it from the microwave. It will stay sterile for up to 24 hours if you remove the water and keep the lid on. This one-piece pump allows for the most discreet expression thanks to its compact, silent and cord-free design. It also has a suction base to prevent spills and features measurement markers, so you know how much milk you've expressed. It's made from 100% food-grade silicone that's safe for you and baby and can be placed in both the dishwasher and microwave. *This time refers to microwaves between 750-1000 W. Allow your pump to cool for at least 2 minutes before removing it from the microwave. Box Contains 1 x Tommee Tippee Silicone Breast Pump, 1 x Sterilising Lid, 1 x Tommee Tippee Milk Storage Pouch

Suitable For: months

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok for emergency but not efficient [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually bought this manual pump so that I could do a salt steam treatment (apparently it’s a natural way to soothe mastitis) but I also kept it for emergency pumping if I was out and about. It was not very efficient so I didn’t use it very often. I got a lot more value out of the Medela manual pump and electric pump. Definitely not an efficient pump if you’re planning to use it every day.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Does the job [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had a few of these silicone breast pumps (mumasil and Kmart) but this one is probably my least favourite. It’s harder to get to suction on and when it does it can be quite painful :( I do love the flat base though! Overall it does the job but I’d stick with another brand

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Does ok [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is just that- ok. Using only suction it is never going to get as much milk as other pumps, but I find collection to be a bit hit or miss, but that could just be me. It is also advertised as good for collecting let down while feeding on the otherside- technically true, but the size and shape makes this tricky. That said, it's cheap and easy to use, and I have managed to start a milk stash, so if you're only going to bottle feed occasionally, it's worth a go.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Didn't Work [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We tried this pump after an electric one wasnt working and had others suggest a manual one can work better, but my wife struggled to get anything from this. More so, she would often complain of getting sore, tired hands quite quickly and would have to stop shortly after. This was a waste of money for us.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Okay [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought this after I was struggling to get much milk out using my electric breast pump, and was suggested to use a manual instead, but I honestly couldn't get anything out using this as it felt like it didn't give a tight latch and it just made my hands get sore quite quickly.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not great as pump [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this as a part of gift bundle my friend made for me. This pump is good as a collector on the other side when pumping or feeling how's it didn't work for me as an actual pump for me. I find electric pump was better for me as it saved so much of my time and I have a double electric pump with my second baby so I hardly ever used this. It may be ok for on the go travel purpose as you only need this device for collection and nothing else.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Effective [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I originally purchased this to use as a manual breast pump however I found it really difficult to position and use. I now just use it to collect the let down whilst I’m breastfeeding which is effective but I’m not sure whether I’m using it correctly since I can’t seem to get it to stay in position. It is a good price though for those who want to test this style of pump out

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bulky but good for backup [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this initially at Baby Bunting on sale. At the beginning, it did take me a while to figure out how to keep it latched on. Pros: Has measurements, wide brim, good for manual expressing, easy to clean, good price point. Cons: Bulky and a bit too long (so when feeding one bub, bub easily kicks/move it), have to keep one hand free to catch it when it falls and the bottom colouring peeled off after frequent use.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from ok for starters [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My midwife recommended this to me when I was starting to breastfeed to catch any excess milk dripping out. It is pretty easy to use and easy to handle, the downside is it doesn't sit well and falls off often. Gets pretty fiddly to constantly keep it in place. Good for starters. I switched to an automatic one after.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Okay, but suction let it down [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product was okay - but I found I needed to hold it to my breast the whole time to get it to maintain suction - which was hard to do whilst holding a wriggly baby to the other breast. Any small knocks and the suction was lost. I also didn't have a strong let down, so found I needed to squeeze at the same time to encourage flow. Only ended up using it a handful of times, but may have been impacted by my low flow.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Does the job [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this to catch my let down and it does the job well but I have to hold it in place which can be tricky whilst trying to keep bub on the boob, very handy that it can be put into a dishwasher or steriliser. It can hold a great amount of milk and helps to relieve engorgement, it's a good price and is handy to have

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but not great [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A suction breast pump cup is one of the best things that I have bought during my pregnancy. It is a lifesaver especially when you have a overreactive letdown reflex. In comparision to other brands, this one does not have a strong suction but it still does the job. Well worth it in preventing mastitis.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Average [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tommee tippee silicone breast pump was handy for collecting let downs and quickly relieving engorgement but the suction wasn't fantastic and would keep falling off unless held to the breast. I would say its worth it for the price but there are other alternatives out there of better quality and are more effective.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works ok [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is like a cheaper version of haakaa but didn’t work great for me. Needed to have a fairly fast flow for it to actually work as the suction isn’t great. Also had to hold it in place. It would lose suction and I’d have to keep putting it back on, maybe I just didn’t have the knack for it

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good for letdown [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this after realising my letdown was a bit too fast or my little baby. The suction was a bit hit and miss and often have a bit of milk leaking out the sides. Worked well though to build up a small supply. I like the suction cup on the bottom to stop any spills.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works ok [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did have a lot of trouble using this, i found it hard to keep the suction on. But when i did and i was Feeding on the other side i found Milk would just poor out which did help relieve some pressure, it comes with a suction cup base which is handy if your clumsy or if anyone else is clumsy

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not great [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this as I had left my Mumasil equivalent at home in QLD when we went to Melbourne. I found the suction on this one wasn’t great and I felt like I had to hold it constantly as it would lose suction within seconds of putting it on. Used it a few times then gave up.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not ideal [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I personally produce a lot of milk but when it comes to pumping, struggle to get much out so I've many different styles and this one i couldn't get any milk from. It's easy enough to hold as its long but doesn't suction on very well therefore was pointless for me to express anything.
