Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for Smoothing and Shine [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the TRESemmé Smooth Shampoo a few times now (in conjunction with the conditioner and serum) and I agree with a number of the benefit claims that it helps with frizz control, smoothing, reduced fly aways, added shine, and softness. My hair looked very glossy after use and I normally have very wavy hair with the tendency to frizz (particularly in humidly and rain). The product is in an easy to dispense pump bottle which is great for slippery hands in the shower. The fragrance is very subtle and clean and doesn't compete with my other body products or fragrance. It creates a nice lather and instantly felt soft and smooth. I love how soft and smooth my hair feels with the use of this product, I keep finding myself playing with my hair and running my fingers through it because it feels so soft. It does have dimethicone listed forth in the ingredient list, so I am sure that has a lot to do with it, but if you don't mind that ingredient, it is worth giving these products a try.

I was excited to read that Keratin was one of the active ingredients in the Tresemme Keratin Smooth Shampoo. On application it spread evenly, wasn't overpowering in scent, non irritating and left my hair clean. After a few uses I could say that yes there was some frizz control happening in my hair, a little extra smoothness and softness and some added shine. I like my shampoos to be on the heavier side because it works better for my curly hair, and this shampoo was somewhere in between.

It definitely reduced my frizz, helped to detangle my curly hair and made it very smooth when used with the matching conditioner and serum, though unfortunately this shampoo made my head itch terribly the next day. I will not be using the shampoo, however, would still recommend their matching serum and conditioner as they do not seem to have this effect.

I did'nt like the way the product pumped out of the pump, felt like a half pump and too short so not enough product came out. Felt I had to use alot of product to get this going through my hair but it didnt make it any softer or feel like it was in better condition after using. Better supermarket products out there and no good on my thick hair.
