Directions

Get the most of this serum by incorporating it into your skincare routine with the following steps:

Step 1. Cleanse to remove impurities and prep skin for serums.
Step 2. Apply 3-5 drops of Revitalift Clinical 12% Pure Vitamin C serum over the face and neck to visibly even skin tone, reduce pores and smooth pores.
Step 3. For additional hydration, layer with Revitalift Filler 1.5% Pure Hyaluronic Acid Serum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I trialled this product for a month period, curious to see how it could benefit me. I've been using Vitamin C serums for years and like most, I have a preference for textures and how I would like it to sit on my skin. What I look for in a product is something smooth, easy to apply and leaves my skin feeling soft and dewy. Not only this, but also a product that you don't need to spend endless amounts of dollars on. This serum is great, it has a nice refreshing application, no sticky texture and is really soothing for my skin. It also sits nicely under make-up, as I tend to apply it in the mornings (unsure if this is the recommended way to do it). I can be prone to sensitive skin but my skin seems to absorb this product really well and doesn't cause me to break out all. I’ve seen a noticeable improvement in the brightness of my skin, which is a positive as I have quite a bit of pigmentation, particularly on my forehead. Out of all the products I’ve tried, this one is up the top of my list, and while I can't confidently say that it's better than the other products that I've tried, it definately appears to be a great product and I would be interested in continuing to use it and provide further comments once I've finished the bottle. Based on the short time that I have used this product I would highly recommend it to a friend or family. Not only for the benefit of the product, but it is also relatively affordable compared to others on the market.

The formula is not sticky or tacky like a lot of other vitamin c serums on the market and layers well under SPF. It also has quite a nice scent, which I really enjoyed, but is worth noting as it may not be for everyone. I suffer from rosacea and this serum didn’t irritate my sensitive skin with daily use (big bonus considering it has added salicylic acid). After trialling this vitamin C for a month, I’ve noticed my skin feels more hydrated and has less visible imperfections. Overall, a great product that I will continue to use.

It makes so much of a difference if it’s the first step to your skincare routine in the morning and be sure to leave it to sit for 20 minutes before your hyaluronic acid. It isn’t sticky and doesn’t pill, it’s a lovely serum and I like the fragrance. I haven’t noticed it helping fine lines as yet but maybe that will come with more time. Be sure to wash your hands straight after applying as I found it left an orange tinge to my palms which looks a bit like fake tanning gone wrong.

It is lightweight and non-greasy and also did not break my skin out. I like the packaging as it looks expensive and the product absorbed into my skin pretty well. I probably just wished it wasn't fragranced and also maybe a few less chemicals as I prefer to use a vitamin c serum that contains more natural products. I do however feel like it made my skin feel softer and maybe gave me more of an even skin tone. I also felt like it may have softened a few little smile lines I have near my mouth. I used this product for approximately 4 weeks and I am happy to admit that most of the stuff it claims it does on the box it did do for me. Therefore, I would recommend this serum for the more budget conscious and I would definitely use when I don't want to spend big bucks on my high end vitamin c serum! It's pretty good for the money and most of the claims it makes - it actually does do!

I started using this product three weeks ago and followed the usage instructions to make sure that I give the most accurate feedback from my own experience. I normally struggle with dry skin and a few bumps of texture here and there. When I opened the product, the texture of the serum felt luxurious. It glides on the skin and only takes a few seconds to be absorbed. There wasn't any tingling on irritation on application. I followed it with just a normal moisturiser, and did this twice a day for the last three weeks. I also put on sunscreen during the day. The product made my skin a touch brighter, a bit smoother, and hydrated. The results weren't mind blowing but it was good! I feel like with consistent use, there would be even better results an I fully plan on finishing the bottle and testing it out some more in the future.

I noticed a difference in my skin within the first week, my fine lines were less visible, so were my pores. My skin looked brighter and less tired and I definitely looked fresher and my skin glowed. The serum is easy to use and sinks straight in, I don’t need to use a lot for great results so it’s quite economical as it lasts for a long time. It has helped a bit with pigmentation but I noticed more of a difference with reduced visibility of pores and fine lines. This serum absolutely makes me look more youthful and I will be buying it again

Rated 3 out of 5 by Joca4 from Brightens but sticky [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to try this vitamin C especially in winter I find my skin to be very dull, I really liked the dropper feature of the bottle ensuring you use the right amount, it feels very smooth and silky and super easy to apply all over the face I used it in mornings and I really did notice an immediate overall brightening on my skin, I did note that the serum felt a bit tacky and sticky on my face which for no makeup days is ok but on days I applied cream or makeup over the serum I found the serum would cause the products to pull and peel and I often felt the serum sat on top of my skin and didn’t nicely absorb, I loved the brightening effect and the gentleness of the serum but the texture it leaves on my face was a no go for me

Together they work well and made improvements that were noticeable on my face within the first week of my trial. The only thing I found was that I needed an extra moisturiser used on my face in the morning after I'd use this product, compared to not needing it after I used the night serum. My face was beginning to feel more dry then it would usually had been pretty much straight after using the morning serum. Great products tho and it was a pleasure to had got to trial these products.

So I wasn’t a big fan of that. I had to stop using the day serum after three weeks as I feel that my skin was having an unwanted reaction to the night serum and whenever I applied the day serum, the skin on my face felt a bit tingly. I’m not sure that it helped with any brightening of my skin. The redness was still there. My face felt tight (which may have been the aim of this serum) but it was actually uncomfortable and felt dry and like it was craving some major hydration from a rich moisturiser. So if used on its own, it may have the desired effect but my skin texture also did not improve. Once my skin recovers I may recommence use of this serum day and night and see how my skin reacts. The box does state that this is suitable for sensitive skin and is effective on all skin tones and types so that is promising. At this stage I cannot give an accurate review on how well it works because I haven’t seen the benefits.

It definitely has the brightening effect and compares well to other vitamin C serums I’ve used in the past. The consistency is very thin and lightweight which took a bit of getting used to but it dries down quickly and layers very well with other skincare products. I didn’t notice any pilling and was able to wear it under makeup without any issues. I personally didn’t mind the scent but if you are sensitive to fragrance this may not be the product for you as it definitely is not a mild scent. It’s nice to have a drugstore vitamin C on the shelves in Australia as there aren’t too many around. My dry skin also liked the addition of vitamin E and surprisingly the salicylic acid didn’t dry my out. This would be a great vitamin C for anyone with acne prone skin but I was mindful that I needed to reduce any other actives I used to ensure I didn’t over exfoliate.

Slightly on the thin side for what I’d expect of a serum. The packaging doesn't seem the best quality, it looked and felt cheap to me. The pipette discoloured immediately, it also picked up dust particles which stained the pipette and can't be cleaned off. The lid degraded incredibly quickly with the orangey gold colouring bleeding into the serum and staining the rim of the bottle.

Upon opening this project was impressive it was a nice weighted, solid bottle, and had a really lovely orange-esque scent to it. I used this product for a month to see full results and I was less than delighted. There’s nothing wrong with it just nothing particularly amazing or wow factor about it. I didn’t notice any significant difference to my pigment or colouring in my skin but I did see a general glow in my skin and it felt fresh and plump. Perhaps this is better suited for skin types with a more obvious pigment issue and this product may work better but for me it didn’t do much to reduce what was left.

The bottle and overall packaging was nice, the dropper very easy to use. The serum was thicker than anticipated but not an issue as it made the product easier to manage with when applying it. However, I wouldn’t recommend using the product before bed or under makeup. The serum turned quite thick and flakey on the skin and even stained my pillowcase! This could be because my skin is quite greasy and so it took longer to properly dry however, was not expecting to have bits of serum flaking off my skin the next day. I did notice that my skin did start to appear slightly more even and revived over the next few weeks but my previous skin concerns weren’t addressed with this serum unfortunately. Maybe they could be for someone else but sadly not a great serum for me and my skin.

My initial thoughts on this product were not the best. I felt when applying I didn’t like how my skin felt, it was a bit of an oily feeling and couldn’t apply make up over it. I applied this on of a night time and waking up my skin would then feel quite dry. I continued to use this product and as the days went on I did start to notice the changes within my skin. Although I have stopped using the serum of a morning as it doesn’t sit well with my makeup, I enjoy putting this on before bed. Only a small amount of product is needed to spread across my face and neck. There isn’t an overpowering smell. I will continue to use the serum of a night time, however is too thick and oily to use twice a day.
