In the end you do use less cleanser and it seems to help the product foam up on your face. Easy to use and even my 4 year old had a go with no trouble. The pouch could be a bit bigger as it just fits and it doesn’t dry very quickly. Not sure if it could cause it been unhygienic after a while? I’m very environmentally conscious so the fact that it’s biodegradable is great! I would recommend this product to someone who is looking for a mitt and a decent price

I am a regular flannel/face cloth user and count these as a vital part of my face washing routine. On wetting this mitt, it increases in size meaning it is easy and efficient to swipe over the face to cleanse. The mitt is gentle on skin (I have mild rosacea) but effectively cleans any makeup or skincare residue off quickly. The mitt dries out quickly (especially in the current heat) and is easy to clean. I prefer to use this mitt with cleanser once I’ve removed my makeup, as I prefer removing makeup with a different sponge. It works well in both a first and second cleanse.

I’ve never used a cleansing mitt before but this was an experience that certainly paid off. I’m usually hesitant to try new things on my skin because it can be sensitive but I had no issues at all! In fact, my skin felt smoother after every use and even fresher than when I only use a gel cleanser and rub it in with my hands. This product is definitely a wanted and needed addition to my skin care routine. Easy to use, easy to clean, and kind to my skin. Would definitely recommend this as a nice and gentle exfoliating mitt!

It’s very soft and it really helps to lather the product on your face. I liked how I could place it on my hand and I felt like it was cleaning my face better than just using my hands, or using a face washer. I have loved adding this to my routine and I would definitely purchase this in the future! Only con is that I couldn’t find an easy way to allow it to dry between uses. It would have been helpful if it came with a loop on the end to allow for it to be hung up to dry out.

I was really surprised with this product it is definitely a gentle yet very effective cleansing mitt. This mitt has been a delight to add to my skincare routine, soft and sumptuous for even the most sensitive of skin. I think having a mitt that allows daily gentle exfoliating of daily build up on the face is great. This product is also definitely travel friendly which is amazing! Manicare is definitely an OG in this space, at times fly under the radar - but they are back better than ever!!

In the packet but I was skeptical about its capacity to clean makeup effectively however I am pleased to say I was proven wrong. The sponge is perfectly contoured to reach those places such as under the eyes and creases of the nose where make-up typically gets left behind. The sponge is incredibly soft and leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth. I have highly sensitive skin and I am pleased to say that I haven’t had any reactions. Its easy to wash, hasn’t disintegrated and is the perfect size for my small hands. Easy to clean and maintain. I’d recommend for all skin types.

It slips easily over my fingers, like a little mitt, and allows me to gently exfoliate my skin. I used a cream cleaner on it and it was good to make my skin feel soft and smooth. I used the mitt in small circular motion over my face, neck and décolletage. It didn’t slip off my fingers and because of the shape, it reached all the corners of my face to gently clean and exfoliate. The texture of the mitt is soft and sponge like. It is also very compact and lightweight. My skin felt good and looked good too after use. It is small enough to easily fit in a makeup bag to use overnight or take away on holidays. After use, I rinsed and kept it in my shower.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Manicare Biodegradable Cleansing Mitt for about three weeks now and I love it! When I first opened the packet the mitt had a distinctive smell that reminded me that it had been made out of natural ingredients, however this only lasted a few days. Looking at the shape of the sponge made me think it was a little unnecessary to have to pop your fingers into it, how wrong I was! It made washing my face to much easier to do, what great designing. I have been using this sponge damp, with my Cetaphil Cleanser, to clean my face and I LOVE how it feels. I then rinse it out and use it to remove the cleanser which it does very effectively. I feels so soft on my skin, I am not going back to face washers. The directions said to wash it once a week which I did with ease, with liquid soap. I did have one problem with it however, the side seam split a bit within a week of use. I was still able to use the mitt, but decided to sew the seam up myself which made it like new. I have read some of the other reviews and I seem to be the only person that this happened to so I plan on replacing this with a new one in the future when it is necessary. It is biodegradable, how awesome, well done Manicare!

When I first saw it I wondered how it was going to be different from all the others out there in the land of skincare. Once I opened the packet the texture and look reminded me of a little slipper lol but once I ran it under some water it did get slight bigger. I used this with some of my regular cream face wash and was pleasantly surprised at how well it cleansed my face and neck even with its soft texture. After a couple of weeks of use the sponge is still looking pretty good so I’m confident it’s going to last awhile. I do really like the fact that it’s biodegradable so I won’t be adding to landfill. This is a product I would definitely recommend. Big thumbs up to Manicare.

I thought this would be a bit of a gimmick, however, I was pleasantly surprised when it came in. Out of the packet it looked quite small but the mitt doubles in size when wet and disperses your chosen product really well. My face felt clean after use but not stripped of any oils. The mitt has a soft texture. I have been using it day and night for the past 2 weeks and the sponge hasn’t broken down or had bits broken off at all. I like the idea that the sponge is biodegradable which is ideal. Only negative I had was the punch where you can put your fingers to use was a little small - would have been better if it was bigger if you could put more of your hand into the mitt. Will keep using and would purchase again.

However, granted I did try it with my La Roche Posay facewash and it removed all traces in a heartbeat, I was wondering actually if it was going to stay in tact with how thin it was-but perfect, it was nice and soft on my skin and removed all bits of my makeup using my facewash. I like how small it is, the fact that I can pop my hand in the little pouch to make it easier. I would definitely recommend:)

The mitt itself was well made but I have tested a lot of exfoliating products in my life and found it okay. The feel of it was nice on my skin but when compared with current items I use, there wasnt anything really revolutionary about it. Its a good product for a beginner or someone who just wants a dependable product that is sturdy and lasts, but nothing cutting edge or new. Nice experience but not something I would choose above all others, which is not a bad thing in and of itself.

It worked well with my foaming cleanser and was easy to rinse out and dry. It can be used to remove makeup as well and can be cleaned with soap like a makeup sponge. It gives a good physical exfoliation but I probably wouldn't recommend it for those with bad acne. I just question how necessary/practical the mitt is. It's probably not a tool I'd reach for often when my hands have always worked just fine. It's really great that the mitt is biodegradable, however, the packaging is not.

It was lovely on my sensitive skin, it has a great feel and I love that it’s biodegradable. It also increases in size when wet, making it extra handy for washing your face when you’re strapped for time. Do I feel as though I need to use it as part of my every day routine? No, probably not. It’s lovely but I still feel as though it didn’t add any extra cleanliness to my skin. If you were a teen just starting out with skincare, I think this is a great buy. But for me personally, I won’t be going out of my way to repurchase.

I love that the mitt is biodegradable and made using 95% plant based material. The shape is convenient and it’s easy to use. I have quite sensitive skin and it didn’t cause any problems for me. My skin clean after using it with my gentle cleanser, but no different if I were to use a cleanser alone. Personally I think it’s a bit unnecessary and a bit gimmicky. I don’t find a need for it in my cleansing routine but it would be great for someone who enjoys that feeling of physically cleansing the skin with a device and that “squeaky clean” feeling.

It was so small that it wasn't suitable for washing anything other then the most small areas, though it was very precise. Unless you want something to clean only your eye area the mitt is too specific to use. The Manicare Biodegradable Cleansing Mitt high points are that it's soft and shaped well for small and percise areas The down sides are the Manicare Biodegradable Cleansing Mitt is much too soft to be use, the finger mitt is awkward and the whole pad is too small

However, I found the use of this product to be a bit gimmicky and unnecessary. Personally I’d prefer a mitt that’s a bit firmer than this one and that could provide some exfoliating benefits. Using the mitt to apply my cleanser worked fine but I felt that it would have worked just as well without the use of the cleansing mitt. I would not purchase this product in future or recommend it to others. Maybe if the texture was more exfoliating as mentioned I’d give it another go.
