I liked the softness of the brush and the feeling of clean after I used it. I did feel the brush was quite large so it could be a little smaller and still be effective. I also think toothbrush companies should be looking at more sustainable alternatives to plastic. Overall I would recommend this toothbrush as it works well for a great clean feeling.

The bristles are so fine and soft you can literally feel them going between your teeth and getting high up around the gums. It is really gentle (I didn’t get any gum bleeding) but feels like a very thorough clean. It’s like you’re being forced to be gentle because you couldn’t brush hard if you tried. The only small issue that I had with the toothbrush was that sometimes the bristles would come out between my teeth. But apart from that I cannot fault it.

I have a tendency to brush my teeth too hard which has caused gum issues but I can now use this toothbrush instead without causing more problems. Even with the super soft bristles my teeth still feel clean and free from food and plaque build up.

Only negative is that the size of the bristle head is small for an adult, would prefer it to be a bit longer.

It was gentle on my gums and left me feeling clean, I honestly can't say I noticed a huge difference between Colgate gentle gums care toothbrush and the standard soft bristle tooth brushes. It is a good toothbrush and i will continue to use it until I need to replace it but It not something I would go out of my way to recommend or repurchase.

It did not disappoint. Brush is lovely and soft and leaves my teeth feeling cleaner than any standard toothbrush. The handle is not very ergonomic though. It is not the most pleasant brush to hold. It also lacks a tongue cleaner on the back of the head so, this brush is just for cleaning teeth, not an entire mouth clean. The colourways are neutral and fresh but, I would re-think the beige one. The tone of the bristles make it look like you might have brushed too hard and there is blood on your brush. I had to double check every time I used it. Overall, a nice change to the conventional toothbrushes and provides a nice, gentle clean.

The extra bristles give a really good strong clean, whilst still feeling soft on the gums. The only downside I find is that the handle is quite thin and can be difficult to keep a good grip when you’re brushing those hard to reach spots.

With sensitive gums it can be hard to find brushes that clean without tearing them up. These brushes have been amazing in both categories: cleaning and softness. The bristles don't warp and bend too easily, so they also stand up to longevity. Highly recommend.

However, because the bristles are very soft, I need to brush for longer than usual to remove food particles that are more stuck.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice brushes but too soft [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found the brushes too soft and felt like it was not cleaning very well unless you press quite firmly when brushing, my teeth felt fury halfway through the day when I first used the brush and felt like I hadn’t brushed at all. The brushes themselves look nice and are a good size to get into the back of your mouth without chocking on it, they are nice and light also. I noticed there was no tongue scraper on the brush head which is usually look for when purchasing a manual tooth brush. I would not likely purchase this brush again but would recommend Colgate as it is a good brand.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from There is such a thing as too soft [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually use a soft small headed toothbrush as recommended by my dentist, however I found that the Colgate Gentle soft toothbrush was actually too soft. When brushing it felt like I was moving a piece of fabric over the surface of my teeth and gums, and not actually getting in and cleaning in all the contours and gaps between the teeth and gums. While the head is smaller than a standard toothbrush, I prefer my usual brush which has a narrowing head at the end. The handle is comfortable with a rubbery feeling grip. Having only used it for a week, it's too early to have any indication if it's any different from a longevity perspective (the bristles or the handle grip). For someone who is not a regular brusher, so has sensitive gums, but wants to improve their oral health, it's probably a good starting point to ease their gums into brushing, but I'd switch out to a regular soft bristle after that.
