Dermal Therapy Acne Control Lotion is a daily, oil-free moisturiser formulated with patented Polylysine to effectively reduce breakouts. By balancing the skin's microbiome, reducing redness & decreasing oil production, the skin is kept free from acne-causing bacteria.

Directions

With clean hands, thoroughly cleanse the face and pat dry. Apply lotion and gently massage onto the face & neck, to help hydrate the skin and
reduce breakout occurrences. Use morning and night. For best
results, use in conjunction with Dermal Therapy Acne Control Wash. To manage breakouts, it is recommended to use Dermal Therapy Acne Spot Cream.

I’ve got acne prone skin but it gets super dry around the nose and especially in my hairline, so often I have used lotions to combat dry skin that ends up making the acne worse. This calms my dry skin without aggravating my skin for further breakouts!

A lot of people babe sensitivity and allergies to a lot of anti blemish ingredients or suffer for skin conditions that cant harsh ingredients, especially ones that sting/burn. This product has a fluid gel like opaque consistency. I didn’t note any fragrance. Due to how fluid it is I believe if you’re using this on a large area like your back, it will run out quickly. I’m tears of how it feels, it felt like a light moisturiser, didn’t feel sticky, greasy or uncomfortable. I haven’t used it for long enough to see results yet but I can see myself using up the entire tube. I wouldn’t repurchase at the moment due to my skin not having an active acne issue at the moment however if I need more sensitivity and skin friendly product in the future I would definitely consider this product.

When i recieved this i thought well lets see if it works... and honestly after the furst use it calmed my skin down so much i couodnt believe it! It also didn’t irritate my sensitive skin. I used it with the facial wash and the spot cream and it cleared up my acne well.

I used to have breakouts that just wouldn’t go away and then i found this product and it changed my skin completely. I noticed a dramatic difference after only a few days of using it. To be honest you can see results after even one day of using this product. It is truly amazing and one of my favorite products by Kiehl’s. It’s a bit on the pricey side unfortunately. I admit it’s a bit too expensive and you can probably get the same results with drugstore products but it will just take you more time. If you have the money and want something to clear up your skin asap GET IT.

The very first night I used it a whole bunch of pimples disappeared! I don’t know if it was an individual product or the whole range together but very impressed. They do have a mild ‘medical’ smell to them but nothing too bad and extremely worthy it for such instant results! I deducted a star because the tube shot out the product really quickly every time which meant I wasted a bunch of product and it left my skin feeling a bit ‘tight’. * I received this product for free for testing purposes

The products seem to have an overall blue packaging which is calming and soothing. I believe it will stand out while catch people’s attention in a shop. The product labelling shows the purpose of the product, the suitable skin type and country of origin. This is good as it gives clarity for the user about what they are applying on the face. This is rarely all seen together in cosmetic products but ought to. The package contains 85 mL, which is a fair quantity for me. I think the product is suitable for very oily skin. My skin looks tightened quickly after applying. The lotion is thin and runny, so it spreads. It calms red spots.

I'd use the lotion in combination with the cleanser and spot lotion, my skin would break out like crazy, I'd take a few weeks off to return to my regular routine - then try again on clear skin. The cleansing wash worked great for me! But unfortunately my skin did not get along with the control lotion.

However I do prefer a moisturiser with more ceramides in it to hydrate. So if you were looking for something to combat your acne this is a great no fuss option. If you need extra hydration I would just recommended applying something more occlusive over the top just to lock in moisture. I’m loving the drugstore options for basic skincare needs these days yay dermal therapy!!

The consistency was lightweight and felt like nothing was on my skin but unfortunately my face did not feel hydrated afterwards as I still saw dry spots on my face. It is unscented and good for sensitive skin, packaged in an easy squeeze tube. However, after using it for weeks, i havent seen a notable difference in my skin or acne, however this may vary for different people. Maybe good for those who want something light to reduce oil, but not to treat bad acne. Overall a nice product but i dont think ill repurchase.
