[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to be invited to my first BeautyHeaven's Natural Beauty Month Event to trial a range of natural, sustainable and effective products and I was able to trial the new range of 100% plant powered dry shampoo from Batiste. The new range comes in a 200ml can (though I was told they may release larger sizes in the future) and uses 40% less packaging. There are three in the range and I have to say the Bamboo Fibre & Gardenia is my favourite scent. This works like any dry shampoo products – shake, aim at roots from a distance (at least 30cm away), massage into the scalp with fingertips and brush away any excess residue. This one is especially designed to provide extra lift and volume and I love that it did that for my fine hair whilst allowing me to go extra days between washes. I even used this every other day to give my hair a slight volume boost and floral scent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a part of a beauty heaven trial day - I was very lucky to get 3 different kinds of this new natural product! I am such a big fan of dry shampoo as I have SUPER oily, fine, blonde hair - which looks greasy after a day. This product is AMAZING. I already used the batiste products but this one is so much better as it has less of an overpowering fragrance (better for my fragrance allergies), is less powdery (it uses rice as a base), brushes in better, uses no dyes or sulphates and is recyclable. I was very impressed with it overall. The product made my hair so much better with less grease, more body and gave quite a bit of lift - just as it promised. I really think this is a step-up from their original brand product.

Takes away the oil and gives volume. My hair is fine textured, gets oily super fast. And i don't have time for washing it often due to very busy lifestyle and not being home but to sleep and eat. Having over the rear long hair and needing so much time washing and drying and masking, love dry shampoos in between to maintain freshness. This dry shampoo is a saviour as do other ones from the range are. Instantly refreshes my hair. Grease gone. Lifts roots. Smells good too. My air goes from darkest blonde to lightest highlighted parts of blonde. And this dry shampoo does not leave residue or look powdery.

The floral scent is not too overpowering and leaves hair smelling and looking refreshed. It also doesn't leave a white residue onto my dark hair. Spray 30cm away from the hair part and massage it into the scalp. This helps to spread the dry shampoo and also volumise the hair. I also found spraying some under the hair near the nape of the neck helps to volumise your hair and make it look full. Try it out!

It's a brand I've heard great things about and have been keen to try for a long time. Out of the three scents, this smelled the best is the one for fine hair. I only wash my hair once or twice a week so seemed a great product for me to use between washes. Since I wanted to see if it made much of a difference, I waited a whole week to try it. Well, it's very easy to use so great for anyone who hasn't used a dry shampoo before. It's said to remove excess oil but my scalp and roots don't get that oily so I can't comment on that regard. The scent fades pretty quickly. I don't have a lot of hair but it did seem to give my hair a slight lift. My hair is also dark and leaves no residue when it dries.

The scent smells wonderful, it's a lovely floral scent that is unobtrusive and fresh. I think it's intended to have the gardenia scent but it's not obvious for me. This dry shampoo does a spectacular job with natural ingredients, like the bamboo fibre. I think this is what they have used in place of the usual batiste ingredients of rice and cornstarch fibres instead. A nice twist to their usual line. I am excited to try the rest of the natural extracts range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As part of the natural beauty month event I was lucky enough to try out three of the dry shampoo products from Batiste! It comes in 3 different scents and this one smelled amazing! The scent reminded me a lot of this perfume I used to wear when I was younger so I was instantly in love with the fragrance. Using the dry shampoo is easy. I just hold at a distance, you don't want to put the nozzle too close, and then I sprayed the product onto my scalp. I did this in different sections of my hair and then I rubbed in the product with my fingertips. My hair smelled great, the dry shampoo helped to absorb some of the oil that was on my hair and scalp and it also added a bit of volume too. It's definitely a great way to freshen up your hair in between washes.

Batiste Naturally dry shampoo has 100% natural extracts and 40% less packaging in its recyclable can. It works well at getting rid of oily roots without a white residue and gives hair an extra lift. It has a lovely subtle floral scent. Love that I can go a couple of extra days between washes and save some water. Also love that it's vegan friendly.

I am a great fan of dry shampoos as they make your life so easy in between washes. This is great as it gives a bit of bounce and volume to the hair as well. I have used it even on washed hair to style my hair and get that extra lift. I love the very light floral fragrance its so subtle and not overpowering at all. Such a high quality product. I have already used this a few times, and it has been a godsend on cold days, when I was not in the mood to wash my hair. It is fine to use a hair straightener on your hair after use. The smell is also strong and divine, yet not overpowering. I have a couple more to try. Super thanks to Joseph and BH at the Natural Beauty Month event for the full sized sample. What a delightful and innovative scent. Note: I have recently coloured my hair. I have already shared this one with a couple of my friends.

When I mentioned this to my colleagues, two immediately said that Batiste is the brand they use and love. One is dark haired so I asked her if there were any white visible after using this product, she said no. Her hair always looks amazing. I tried it this morning and am very impressed with the result. So much easier in winter time then washing and blow drying. This definitely avoids a couple of days in between washed and the fragrance is nice, not overwhelming.

I could see the product name, what the product was very clearly. It had some lovely pictures of bamboo and gardenias. It's great how it had 100% natural extracts. I am a big fan of dry shampoo as it's so so convenient and easy to use and uses no water. It had easy to understand instructions on the back of the can. The lid was very easy to to take off. The spray worked really well. It came out of the can very easily. This shampoo had a really lovely scent. Bamboo fibre and gardenia work really well together. It worked on my hair really well. My felt great and alive afterwards using this product. Another great product from Batiste!

I love the Batiste range of dry shampoos and I use them regularly (and have done so for years) to help me get from one shampoo to the next, particularly on days when I know I should wash my hair but I just don't have the time, or when I am travelling, especially camping. I part my hair and spray towards the roots, moving all around my scalp, then leave for a few minutes to sink in, then rustle through my hair with my fingertips. I do find with this one, and all the 'white' ones, that they make my hair look a little grey. Maybe not a problem for blondes. The smell of this one is really nice.

Rated 4 out of 5 by clearcrystalwater from Fresh Floral Scent [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an excellent dry shampoo that gives my hair body and volume whether I need to use this in my oily roots or not oily roots (depending on the day, like if I've just washed my hair, I can still use this in my freshly dried hair to add some awesome texture, body and volume even though my hair doesn't have oily roots because it's been just washed). The design on the can really grabs me with it's botanical pretty pink flowers! I do have a thing for pink! The fresh sweet floral scent is extremely pleasant and I do find that this sometimes comes out clear and sometimes white but maybe that's my fault because I haven't shaken it up first?! Nevertheless, this is one awesome dry shampoo and I've been loving using inbetween washes mainly so that it hides my oily roots completely. I like to give my roots a good brush and swiggle with the brush after I've applied it and this helps to dissipate the white effect of the product very quickly and easily.

Of the three new scents in the Batiste Naturally range, this light floral scent is my favourite. I love the illustrated design on the can, which has a lovely satin finish to it. The aerosol is easy to use and you need to shake before spraying towards roots from at least 30cm away. This allows the product to disperse and avoid a white caste on your hair. This is a great option to keep your hair fresh between washes.

This "natural" dry shampoo range is my favourite from the Batiste range. The previous Batiste dry shampoo that I've used tend to leave varying degree of whiteness in my hair. I also find that they tend to make my hair dry and feels crunchy. Not this one. The Bamboo Fibre dry shampoo has a subtle floral fragrance. It also does not make hair feel crunchy. It does a good job at adding volume to second or third day hair. Initially the powder does come out white but when it is used at a distance (30cm plus) then it is controllable. For the amount of volume that it adds I think the slight whiteness is acceptable. I have grey hair anyway so it really does not bother me too much. The only negative comment is the "100% natural bamboo fibre and gardenia extracts" claim, but those extracts are such a small component of the entire product. So it could have been 0.1% or 0.01% natural overall, or it could be 10%. Who knows? And who would make fake bamboo fibre anyway? I find the "100% natural" claim so irrelevant and misleading. I have absolutely no issue with using synthetic ingredients so this does not affect my view on the product itself, but I do not like the marketing spin. I would probably still purchase as I really like it. However I really hope brands can stop using the "100% natural" phrase when they are really not.

Funny thing is I have advance hereditary alopecia so I couldn't use it as I keep my hair very short or shaved. My wife used it so I can only go by what she said about this dry shampoo. She loved it. She said that after applying it in her hair, it made her hair feel good / not greasy. She gave it a big thumbs up. Words of caution, it warns on the can to use in a well-ventilated room. In addition, it warns that the product is extremely flammable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by maggieball from A multitasker for fine or oily hair [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll begin with the disclaimer that my hair tends to be quite dry so this is probably not the ideal dry shampoo formula for me - the coconut and hemp seed oil version designed for dry hair is the one I prefer, but I've got the full set to review and I'm doing one a day to check them all out (lucky me!). I really like the idea of an all natural dry shampoo and the reduction in packaging (as well as the fact that the can is recyclable!) makes this range a more ecologically sound choice. This one smells very fresh - strong though - not much like gardenias - more like carnations - a very light floral which does linger throughout the day. The impact is immediate though with hair that is fuller looking and has more bounce. I think this one works better than volumizer powder as it's more natural looking. The floral-wrapped bottle is slim and fits neatly in the bathroom, and is very easy to use with a wide spray nozzle that disperses a very fine clear spray. There's no white residue at all, and hair remains glossy and not stiff. I did find this one left my hair a little dry feeling - not tacky or sticky in any way and still glossy but a little dried out to the touch, and I imagine that regular use would have a significant drying effect on my hair. I'm not sure if that's from the bamboo extract or the alcohol, but I think maybe once a week would be the maximum a person with dry hair like me would want to use this. For someone with oilier or lank hair, this could be a good option to keep hair looking fresher for longer and extend the time between shampoos. It's also good for those days when your hair is clean but just not looking its best as the volume boost helps with restyling and shaping. The spray itself has gentle ingredients like rice and tapioca starch, bamboo shoot extract, coconut oil and Gardenia extract which aren't toxic on the scalp (no sulphates like many other brands have), and although it comes out quite cold, it feels invisible to the touch and the volume and clean feeling lasts all day.

There are 3 in their 'Naturally' range and as I love gardenia and my hair is fine, this was the one for me. Not a regular user of dry shampoo but I always have a can for emergency use! They make it so easy to use – shake the can for a few seconds – section hair and spray towards your roots (30cm away) – lightly massage it through your hair using fingertips – then brush (or comb in my case) lightly to remove excess residue. I loved the fragrance and it left no residue on my hair and gave my fine hair a lift. Great slimline 200ml size can which uses 40% less packaging (than the Original) with 100% natural bamboo fibre & gardenia extracts. Dry shampoos absorb oil, neutralize odour and give your hair an instant refresh with an invisible finish. I’d still only ever use dry shampoo rarely but dry shampoos have only got better and Batiste is a leader in dry shampoos.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Sandyyy from Dry shampoo has come a long way [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the opportunity to trial Batiste’s Bamboo Fibre and Gardenia Dry Shampoo following the recent Natural Beauty Month event. I haven’t been a huge fan of dry shampoos in the past however was keen to try this product as it contains 100% natural extracts. As advised at the demonstration I did two things with the dry shampoo – firstly, held the can a good 30cm away from my hair to ensure an even application (lifting the hair in sections ensured the shampoo reached the roots); secondly, I used it in the evening rather than the morning (giving plenty of time to maximise the results). Worked like a charm! The added bonus was that even on my fine hair it added body so more like a styling product than an emergency fix. Happy to recommend this one.

I have used Batiste dry shampoo for many years and have always found the scents to be overly sweet and competing with any perfumes one would wear. The scents were also more tailored to a younger audience, and it made me very conscious of wearing it to corporate meetings. This "Naturally" range has a more subtle, neutral scent making it perfect for use all the time. The print on the can is fits in perfectly with the 100% Natural Extracts used and with the marketing around this. The brand also uses 40% less packaging that the comparable product in the market and is recyclable, aligning themselves ethically and sustainably. The use is simple and easy, shake, spray, rub in, brush and go. It blends and absorbs easily which is perfect for dark coloured hair as no white residue is visible. Bamboo and Gardenia helps to strengthen the hair, whilst rice powder and tapioca starch absorbs the excess oils, giving life to fine, flat hair. It is also gentle on the scalp and did not cause any itchiness. Using this will add volume and instant freshness to your hair, along with a moderate flowery scent. Now we just have to wait for Batiste to release a travel and handbag friendly size.

Although I love this idea and am all for putting less chemicals around my head (although I do bleach my hair!), I did find that this version of the product doesn't seem quite as effective as the more traditional ones. The spray applies directly to the roots and I found that there was no significant white powder residue once massaged into the scalp. It has a very mild and inoffensive smell that lingered for a little while and then disappears. I found that there was a slight improvement to the appearance of my hair, however this only seemed to last for half of the day. Also, this version does not provide as much texture and lift as others in this product line does.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous from Delicate floral scent to freshen up I was excited to try the Batiste Bamboo Fibre & Gardenia Dry Shampoo, because it is specifically targeted for fine hair to improve volume, which is one of the things I want in a hair product. Plus, it has the best scent in the Batiste Naturally series. The scent is the best feature of this product - it's a delicate, natural, floral scent. I applied the product as suggested: I sectioned my hair, and sprayed the dry shampoo from 30cm away at each sections, and massaged the product into my hair and scalp. It never left white residue on my light brown hair. Using this dry shampoo between washes removed excess oil, which naturally gave my hair some lift and volume, but not a lot of volume. It didn't add any volume on freshly washed hair

Generally my hair doesn’t really need a ‘spritz’ between washes and there isn’t going to be long enough to let my hair get oily enough to try all 3 of these (apologies this paragraph is the same for all 3). The Bamboo fibre & Gardenia is for fine hair giving extra lift. You shake it then spray it from 30cm towards the root, ‘tumble’ and massage with your fingertips then brush lightly. The smell is nice and I didn’t get any obvious white residue left in my hair. I tried using it before a run and I think my hair did look better after, less sweaty. As mentioned, I don’t really have a need for this but I do recommend it if you’re a dry shampoo user as it smells nice and is more natural than some. It also uses 40% less packaging than their original sprays.

I've been a fan of Batiste for years and that's the only dry shampoo I use. The 100% Natural extracts range is so aesthetically pleasing. The design is super pretty & definitely reflects that the range is natural compared to their regular range. Out of the three scents, this was my favourite scent but unfortunately if left my hair feeling really dry and knotty that I couldn't run my fingers through my hair. I've never experienced this with Batiste. The can does say for extra lift and fine hair. I don't need either of these so maybe this particular product is just not for my hair type. I still would recommend Batiste but will say to read what it does to see if its suitable for your hair.
