This cleanser is designed to gently cleanse while maintaining hydration, and it definitely delivers on that promise. The texture is creamy, gel-like, milky, making it feel luxurious and soothing on the skin. It lathers richly, which I appreciate because it doesn’t strip my skin like some foaming cleansers do. I felt like i had a light moisturiser on my face after using it, it’s worth spending an extra few minutes circulating the cleansers to get a good effect on the skin.

So I can't really use most of my usual cleanser when I was younger, cause my skin feels tight and dry after using it. I was happy to give this is a try since my son uses the Oatmeal Shampoo and Extra Hydration Soap Free Wash for his eczema prone skin. The results were pretty good. It cleanses well and my skin doesn't feel tight from dryness. It looks refreshed and hydrated, therefore my fine lines doesn't show as much.

I started using the product to clean the face and neck after using make up or in the morning. Product is easy to use, soft and gentle on skin. It does not dry out skin and seems to produce a nice moisturized skin after. The face cleanser did not cause any redness or issues to my skin. I love that is free from parabens and vegan. Only one thing could be improved is the consistency a bit watery but this is very minor issue. Overall I highly would recommend the product especially to delicate skin types.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Gentle and hydrating [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The DermaVeen Ultra Hydrating Cleanser is very gentle on the skin and is fast becoming a go to. This cleanser is a creamy like texture, with the what Dermaveen is known having oatmeal in their which is supposed to be good for dry, sensitive of eczema prone skin. I have found that the gentle cleanser goes on smoothly and is able to wash away the skin without causing any irritation or dryness. I also like that it is fragrance free so can be used without more hesitation on various skin types. As it is creamy, I find for removing make up it needs one layer on the face to remove make up and then another pump for the wash for the face. Will keep using this as I have had no adverse reactions and my skin feels clean after using this.

However the smell of the cleanser was not as pleasant as the scrub as it smelled a bit musky. I usually prefer a squeaky-clean feel after cleansing, however with these products leaving a moisturised hydrating feel after rinsing, this did not affect the cleanliness and feel to my skin, and I was still happy with the results. The scrub is gentle enough it can be used daily and removes makeup and impurities, therefore making the cleanser redundant.
