General Information

Swisse BHA 2% Clear Skin A.M. Balance Serum has been co-developed with a dermatologist to improve skin texture and clarity, and prevent breakouts, thanks to an optimal combination of salicylic and mandelic acid. Hyaluronic acid is also included to provide hydration benefits. Lightweight and fast-absorbing, ongoing use of this serum reveals a smooth and clear complexion. Developed to be part of your morning beauty routine, it is suitable for everyday use and all skin types, including acne prone.

Directions

For optimal results apply a small amount (1 pump) to the

I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with how fast it absorbs as it absorbs really quickly so you have to work fast. (it's mostly a love relationship!) My skins texture has definitely improved, the texture is smoother due to the exfoliating nature of the serum and it looks so much clearer as it's keeping my breakouts to a minimum. All the smaller pimples are definitely lessening and clearing up and I think it's due to the key ingredients of Salicylic Acid and Mandelic Acid. Fantastic product. One more negative I have is that the size is a little small and I think a larger size (eg 50ml) would have been better. But as you can see, my little negatives have not made me mark down my overall rating because this product is just amazing.

It contains a powerful blend of salicylic acid, mandelic acid, and hyaluronic acid, which work together to keep my skin clear and hydrated. What’s really impressive is that I experienced no burning or irritation—something I often struggle with when using similar products. The salicylic acid helps unclog pores and prevent breakouts, while the mandelic acid gently exfoliates for a smoother texture which is great for someone who is time poor (pore lol). The serum texture is light and the product absorbs easily, but not too quick that you don’t have time to apply properly so 1 pump does go a long way, and I’ve had no issues applying make up after (I’ve found some products cause make up to pill or lift). It’s only a few weeks so hard to say what the long term improvements are but my skin certainly feels refreshed after each application. The only downside is the fragrance—it’s quite strong. At first, it has a floral scent, which is pleasant, but once applied, it becomes more chemically in itself also not unpleasant, and the scent lingers for a bit. While it doesn’t irritate my skin, I do wish it were a bit more subtle as it does catch me off guard. Overall, despite the fragrance, this serum is a game-changer for anyone with sensitive skin but still wants effective results. It's quickly become a staple in my skincare routine!
