General Information

Swisse Ceramides B3 Daily Balance Moisturiser is designed to deliver immediate and sustained skin hydration while keeping breakouts under control. This lightweight, multi-tasking formulation combines niacinamide to improve skin hydration, texture and tone, and zinc sulfate to help control excess sebum. It also contains ceramides to help maintain a healthy skin barrier. Suitable for all skin types including acne-prone, it can be used both morning and night for a clear and smooth complexion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone with extremely oily skin, finding a moisturiser that doesn’t cause breakouts has always been a really big challenge. Most moisturisers I have bought have left my skin feeling greasy and lead to breakouts. But this one hasn’t! I have been using this moisturiser for almost a month and can say it helps to hydrate my skin without leaving a heavy residue on my skin, nor have I experienced any breakouts. A feature I want to note is the pump, it pumps out the perfect amount of moisturiser I need for my skin without me over doing it, which can be hard for me to tell with my skin type. I am very pleased with this product!!

I tested out this daily moisturiser every second day in the first week and then every day in the second week. I found that the gradual build up was a helpful strategy for a new product and my skin drank it in. It is easily absorbed and did not leave any unwanted residue.

I love that it improves hydration, texture and tone while keeping breakouts under control as I've experienced some pimples as of late. I wish this moisturister contains SPF though. I think that would have received 5 stars from me.

It is really gentle and lightweight, I find it perfect for day wear. I have oilier skin and this formula really works well for my skin type - it isn't too heavy or thick, and absorbs well into the skin leaving little to no stickiness or residue. It does have a very light, natural scent to it which I personally don't mind. I think this is a great option for oilier skin types as it does help to control my oiliness throughout the day. If you are on the drier side though, you may want something a little more intense hydration wise.

I enjoyed the benefits and how soft it felt on the skin and it works well after using the cleanser. It’s helped relieve my oily skin and feels fresh. The smell is a bit too strong but overall a good product, just need better packaging.

However, it dissipates quickly. In terms of skin texture, I did notice that it improved the look of my pores. As I don't suffer from breakouts anymore, I can't personally speak to the effectiveness in this regard, but I could see how the salicylic acid could help here.
