General Information

Swisse Ceramides B3 Daily Balance Moisturiser is designed to deliver immediate and sustained skin hydration while keeping breakouts under control. This lightweight, multi-tasking formulation combines niacinamide to improve skin hydration, texture and tone, and zinc sulfate to help control excess sebum. It also contains ceramides to help maintain a healthy skin barrier. Suitable for all skin types including acne-prone, it can be used both morning and night for a clear and smooth complexion.

I love that swisse has matching designs with their other products. I unfortunately had a reaction towards this product after using it for a week so I stopped using it. One thing I’d change on this product is the pump, the moisturiser is so thick it struggles to come out.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hydrating [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product as an incentive and with the claims presented I did expect more to this moisturiser due to its claims. It is hydrating however, that feeling of hydration does not linger around and personally made my skin feel tight. On the plus side of things, I am prone to breaking out when trying a new product and this did not cause me to breakout at all which I am beyond impressed with. Upon looking at its claims assistance with acne prone skin is a benefit to this product and I can say that is 100% true.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hydrating [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Swisse Ceramides B3 Daily Balance Moisturiser is a great moisturiser for my skin as it keeps it well hydrated. I haven’t noticed much of a difference in terms of breakouts or pore appearance however my skin does feel less oily. The moisturiser absorbs well and quickly into my skin and it doesn’t feel tacky either. I do wish that the pump were a little better as sometimes I only want half a pump and it’s pretty unpredictable with how much it gives me. Otherwise, it’s a good moisturiser that I’ll continue to use and I hope I get to see more benefits with continuous use.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fell short for me… [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had high hopes for Swisse Ceramides B3 Daily Balance Moisturiser, but unfortunately, it didn’t work for me. While the lightweight texture initially felt nice, I soon experienced itchiness and irritation after applying it. Despite its claims to hydrate and balance, my skin didn’t respond well, leaving me disappointed. A slight red rash also started to appear around my eyebrows. I appreciate the blend of ceramides and vitamin B3, but the discomfort overshadowed any potential benefits. If you have sensitive skin, I’d recommend proceeding with caution. Overall, I can only give it 3/5 stars.

Something about it didn’t quite feel right on my skin, it sat heavy and didn’t leave me feeling fresh. The texture didn’t absorb quite right into my skin and just sat on the top. I didn’t enjoy the feeling it left perhaps it is better for those with dryer skin types than myself. Can be used morning or night, might be a good moisturiser for those with skin barrier concerns, just missed the mark for myself

As a combination in my everyday routine with the cleansing gel, I liked this light weight moisturiser, but don’t feel it added anything new to my routine. I didn’t see any results from the moisturiser. I received this product from Swisse to review.

It keeps the skin feeling hydrated. However, it does the minimum. Didn't notice any huge improvements on my skin upon using it. I will continue using it as it's light for the summer.

It does feel hydrated. But after a few minutes my skin does feel dry again. I don’t know if I need to apply more or my skin is dry. I did use 2 pumps. And because I want to see if this moisturizer is good enough to use on its own. So I didn’t apply my toner and serum. Of course if I add on my toner then serum then moisturizer. I don’t have the dryness feeling after a while. But at the morning when I only use this then my foundation it does feel fine. And it does make my foundation more natural. So basically I will rate this product 7.5 out of 10. It does keep u moist. But if u are dry to combination skin. You may need to combine other products to use together.

Didn’t see a change in my skin sadly. It does feel nice and light on my skin. I don’t love the fragrance they have added I prefer an unscented product especially if the fragrance smells kind of ‘cheap’. It doesn’t need it. Did feel nice on the skin but didn’t see any improvement

Does not like the smell of the product. Need to rub the product in. Does not get easily absorbed into the skin. However, I have noticed that my skin looks more hydrated after using this product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sensitive skin beware [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I really liked the concept and packaging for this product, when I went to try it I soon noticed that it was not suitable for my skin type. I spot tested it on my arm and saw/felt no reaction to the moisturiser. However, the skin on my face and my eyes are much more sensitive than I realised. The moisturiser made my face warm and tingly, so much so that I had to wipe it off and start over with my regular moisturiser. The fragrance of the product was also off putting and made my eyes water. While I really wanted to like the product, it was just not suitable for my sensitive skin or eyes. Also just to clarify, I didn’t put the moisturiser near the skin around my eyes but they were still affected by the fragrance. I think this product is just not for me.

Unfortunately for myself, my skin had a slight reaction and became red so I stopped using it. Otherwise, the bottle and packaging is nice but you really do need to work the pump to get the thick product out.
