General Information

Swisse Skincare Salicylic Acid Daily Balance Cleansing Gel is a low-foaming, non-stripping cleanser that helps to gently remove impurities, makeup, and excess sebum. Co-developed with a dermatologist, it is scientifically formulated with salicylic acid and zinc sulfate to reduce the appearance of blackheads, refine pores, and keep acne under control. Skin is left feeling clean and refreshed. Suitable for everyday use and all skin types, including acne prone.

Directions

I love that it is affordable and easily accessible. On application it is silky smooth, removes all of my stubborn makeup in one go and leaves my skin feeling nice & hydrated. I have been using this cleansing gel and I have seen massive improvements to the point where I finally feel confident enough to go make up free. The past products I have used have really dried out my skin, but I felt like this still retained the moisture in my skin and it didn’t make it feel like crepe paper. Highly recommend this to anyone that is acne prone as you will definitely see improvements.

I get hormonal breakouts mainly around my chin and this month I have noticed a lot less bumps and inflammation on my skin! I love trying anything with Salicylic Acid and I think my journey to finding my favourite cleanser is now over - I've found it! As someone who has worked in the skincare industry for many years I am impressed with the ingredients and formulation of this cleanser. As an added bonus it smells lovely and clean and the gel texture is just beautiful - truly a lovely sensorial experience! I would recommend this to anyone!

I have been using the Salicylic Acid Daily Balance Cleansing Gel daily for four weeks now and it has helped my skin significantly, I especially love the key actives included in this cleanser which are salicylic acid and zinc sulfate. I have struggled with breakouts for many years and have tried many products high end and low end and this product is truely working for me and my skin. My breakouts have reduced significantly and the pores on and around my nose have shrunk drastically without drying my skin out. I use two pumps daily in the evening and it leaves my skin feeling clean refreshed and hydrated. I recommend this cleanser to anyone who are prone to breakouts and pores. I received this product to trial and review and I will definitely be purchasing once this bottle has been used.

Once I got this product he started using it too and will be buying it again, he has really bad blackheads on his nose and cheeks and they have significantly reduced. I also get blackheads on my chin and have found that I barely have any anymore. I find this is gentle on my skin and doesn’t strip the natural oils.

I have sensitive skin and do laser and microneedling on my face. Initially the face wash did make my skin kind of tingly and super dry, but the cream balances it out so well and returns the moisture back into my face. I also felt that my skin had visibly gotten clearer and brighter. It’s also prevented a breakout so far. I love the smell, the texture and the way it makes my skin feel so clean after.

Let me prefix that I have quite sensitive and prone to clogged pores skin and am quite careful with the products I use. The cleaner is very gentle with he’ll like consistency. There is very light fragrance, it doesn’t foam and leave the skin feeling clean but not overly stripped. I find that it takes away light makeup and sunscreen quite well but for heavier makeup I would suggest doing a double cleanse. Overall I am quite happy with the product and will continue using it in rotation with the rest of my skin care routine.

I wear makeup daily, including foundation and concealer, and this cleanser removes it incredibly well, especially as someone who uses heavy dark eyeshadow and eyliner. It has left my skin feeling very soft and has worked well as a skin prep before doing my makeup. I’ve received multiple compliments on my skin since using it, with one friend in particular thinking i was wearing makeup when i actually wasn’t! I have extremely oily skin and have noticed a decrease in the oiliness of my face when i wake up in the morning. Overall I feel it has It improved the way my skin feels and looks, including it feeling clean, refreshed, and smooth after each use.
