General Information

Swisse Blemish Remedy Fast Acting Drying Lotion is a targeted, triple-action anti-acne treatment designed to provide rapid breakout relief and help clear the skin. It is expertly formulated with active levels of sulfur, salicylic acid, and zinc oxide to tackle stubborn acne spots, minimise redness, and prevent new breakouts by gently exfoliating the skin and unclogging pores. Co-developed with a dermatologist, it can be used on the face, chest or back to target even difficult breakouts.

Directions

DO NOT SHAKE PRODUCT.
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1. Ensure sediment is fully settled at the bottom of the vial.
Step 2. Dip a cotton bud inside the vial and coat the tip with a small amount of sediment. 
Step 3. Apply directly onto blemishes. Do not rinse. Can be used on face, back and/or chest. Avoid eye and lip area. Can be left on overnight.

I have been dabbing this on the pimples each night and sleeping like that. It is probably just my skin tone, but I find the colour means it isnt too obvious when its dotted around my face. By the next morning the product isn't visible anymore, and the pimples are normally either gone if they are smaller, or far less severe. However, some pimples just seem a bit more stubborn. I wish I had this as a teen when I had horrible acne. The only time it did sting a tiny bit was when I put it over a blemish on my face which I think had some broken skin, but otherwise it is easy to use and has no unpleasant side effects.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a woman in her early 30s I still get hormonal breakouts, no matter how much care I take of my skin, and these blemishes generally last for weeks at a time, they can be very painful and not to mention embarrassing. I was very excited to try Swisse Blemish Remedy. The product itself is so simple to use and It does work incredibly fast with clearing up the skin. I recently had a gigantic pimple on my chin that just wouldn't seem to go away, it was too big to even put an acne patch over it. I tried a bunch of different products and home remedies to try and shrink it, but nothing worked, so I gave up on it and thought I'd just let it go away on its own. Well when Blemish Remedy arrived, I thought I'd test it out and see if it would help this stubborn pimple, and to my relief, after the first use I noticed the pimple had shrunk to almost half the size of itself within 24 hours. After the second use, the pimple had shrunk to almost nothing. I used it 4 times in total over 4 days and my pimple was completely gone by the 5th day. My partner also had a big stress pimple on his forehead from work, so I told him to try it, he only used it once and sajd "what sorcery is this? My pimple is completely gone and I only used it once" I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who gets pimples/blemishes. It really does work!

I have used similar products before and this has been far more effective. Scent is not as strong, and it goes away quickly. This has reduced the size of my blemishes a fair bit within a few hours. I do get some redness after removing but this may be as a result of my sensitive skin. (I was gifted this product for review)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a fair few blemishes and pimples before using the Blemish Remedy that my regular skincare wasn't helping. I used this product as instructed and my redness and pimples were noticeably reduced within 2 days. I didn't even use the product for the full week and my skin was clear again. There wasn't any excess drying out (which I find happens with most products) so it worked great for my skin type (oily/combination). I'd define buy this again. My only negative take it the strong fragrance along with the alcohol scent.

I found it easy to use with the size of the bottle and the product was easy to lift out. The smell wasn't too 'astringent' (as I thought it'd be really strong but it's very tolerable!). Usually I have a lot of redness before the my pimples form but I found that If I put this on before bed for a few nights the redness and swelling was less in the morning. I’m a makeup artist by trade & having beautiful clear skin is something that’s important to me with makeup application on myself. I have been suffering from monthly cystic sore acne around my jaw & cheeks, always risen & red. Prior to opening this blemish remedy I read the instructions thoroughly on how to use, it’s important not to shake the product prior to application. The smell was rather strong but I was use to it straight away. I applied a spot of product on my blemishes & left this product on over night. Upon waking & washing my face with water I could visibly see the pimples had reduced in size, soreness & red colouring had faded. I would definitely recommend this product for those who suffer random acne. I wouldn’t say it’s a solution for every day full face of acne as the smell may be too strong for daily use.

This super simple 3 step process provides rapid relief and helps to clear the skin. So first and the hardest of all is to not shake the bottle! All of the pink sediment has to be at the bottom of the bottle. Then dip a cotton bud in and ensure some of the pink sediment goes onto the cotton bud. Then just pop that onto blemish and DO NOT WASH OFF. I also love that this can be used all over the body(expect the eye and lips) not just on the face and I found it to work quickly! This is a product that I will continue to have on hand, especially as my boys grow into their teenage years.

I ususally break out in with small pimples on my cheeks so I tried out this SWISSE Blemish Remedy overnight. I put a small amount of the liquid onto a cotton bud and dabbed my pimple to cover it up. At first there was a small tingly feeling like it was zapping my pimple however it went away very quickly. Overnight I slept with the solution on my pimple and woke up to a dried up serum over the pimple. When I wiped the serum off my pimple drastically changed in size and reduced in redness. It almost decreased by 50% in size and also didn’t hurt me as much. This drying lotion was so beneficial to use overnight. Super simple and very effective. If you use for a few days in a row it definately helps clear your skin. I would recommend to anyone who wants to get rid of those random pimples that appear especially before a big event!

I tried it expecting I might see some change in a few days but was happily surprised to see the blemishes on my face had decreased in redness and size. It still took a few days to completely “cure” the problem, but it seriously decreased them enough overnight that I didn’t need to worry anymore.
