General Information

Swisse Blemish Remedy Fast Acting Drying Lotion is a targeted, triple-action anti-acne treatment designed to provide rapid breakout relief and help clear the skin. It is expertly formulated with active levels of sulfur, salicylic acid, and zinc oxide to tackle stubborn acne spots, minimise redness, and prevent new breakouts by gently exfoliating the skin and unclogging pores. Co-developed with a dermatologist, it can be used on the face, chest or back to target even difficult breakouts.

Suitable For: All skin types, including acne prone.

Directions

DO NOT SHAKE PRODUCT.
DIRECTIONS:
Step 1. Ensure sediment is fully settled at the bottom of the vial.
Step 2. Dip a cotton bud inside the vial and coat the tip with a small amount of sediment. 
Step 3. Apply directly onto blemishes. Do not rinse. Can be used on face, back and/or chest. Avoid eye and lip area. Can be left on overnight.

I pretty much have normal skin and get the occasional pimples. I have used this on a few pimples and it works so well! The size of the pimple significantly reduces overnight and some of the smaller ones basically disappeared. This has worked better than any other pimple product I have tried on my skin and will be my go to product for blemishes!

It has helped reduce redness from pimples and shortens the length of my outbreaks. This has helped clear my skin up faster leaving the puffiness and redness from acne behind. I apply it directly to my spots and it feels like it's working straight away. It massively reduces the redness and swelling to make them stand out less and after a day or so clears it all right up. As someone who just gets breakouts of just a few spots it's perfect, I'm not too sure how it would go if you were prone to full face breakouts. Would highly recommend and will be buying again (although I won't have to for a while as a little goes a long way!) I received this product from SWISSE to review.

This remedy helped with the reddish skin when I left it on overnight, but since I needed to buy the cotton buds to use the product, it was not the most convenient product to use. The smell was more antiseptic than I prefer, but it did feel as though it was clearing up the skin. I would recommend for those who have regular skin breakouts.

I applied it at night with a cotton swab, just dabbing it onto my pimples. By morning, they looked smaller, less red, and less painful. The smaller breakouts almost disappeared overnight, and the bigger ones shrank a lot. Does have a very strong smell if that is an issue for you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Swisse Blemish Remedy Fast Acting Drying Lotion ever night for two weeks now, I’m someone who has always struggled with small acne spots in my adult years and I must say this product has really surprised me! I apply the product before bed directly on any pimple outbreaks I have which are usually on my chin, by the morning when I wake the pimple has definitely visibly reduced its inflammation and redness and has become dried out. After a few days of continuous use the pimple almost completely disappears. I like that the product comes with clear instructions, drys fast and shows visible results fast. The only thing i’m not fond of is the strong smell that lingers when applied to the skin. I do think this is best for spot use only on pimples that have formed not up coming pimples or big amounts of cystic type acne. I was really happy with this products results on my pimples and i do recommend it to people that struggle with acne in their young adult years! I will purchase again.

I always get 1 or 2 small breakouts around my period which is super annoying. I received this to try just as 1 was popping up. I applied at night, and the next morning my pimple was noticeably smaller! It hadn't disappeared completely but I couldn't believe the difference 1 application had made. The tingle after initial application was slight so it didn't bother me. It dried down quickly and didn't transfer to my pillow. This is a great product and I will definitely continue to use it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve begun using this Swisse Blemish Remedy product just over a week ago, and applying it daily before bed for several nights in a row. Every time I take a break from the pill, I end up suffering from zits and breakouts all along my chin and forehead. This product really did the trick and started to work within 1-2 days! Redness and bumps started to smooth out and no new breakouts at all since I began using this. It’s simple to apply with a cotton tip (do not shake bottle as per instructions). The fragrance was tolerable, not overly strong or astringent. I was impressed at how quick this product began reducing my stubborn acne, without further irritation to my skin. I am happy to recommend this reliable, fast-acting product. I was fortunate enough to receive this product from SWISSE to review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't have an anti-acne treatment because nowadays my skin its fine, but I had one pimple, and I applied this lotion for almost 2 weeks every evening. For me it is a different concept product, easy to apply and absorbs quick on skin. The pink colour didn't bother me because I was using nighttime. Not many results, my pimple dried and reduce a little but didn't improve the redness. It's a good product because didn't irritate my sensitive skin.

Designed to help deal with acne, this has helped me with inflammation and redness, so that the skin has better clarity. This contains sulfur, salicylic acid and zinc oxide, and it's meant to help exfoliate the skin. I use this as a spot treatment overnight, and it comes as what looks like a dual layer product. As much as you'd be tempted to, don't shake the bottle - instead, simply dip a cotton tip into the bottle, all the way down to the sediment at the bottom. Then, apply it to the blemish you want to target, and let it do it's thing. It tackles it efficiently, making it feel less painful, as well as looking smaller by the following day.! I'd like to not use it, because it would mean having clear skin, but it's nice to have something that works!

I have previously used rubbing alcohol to help ease the breakouts but it leaves my skin dried out and stings. Thankfully the packaging is smart and clearly states on the opening flap "Not to shake", because when i opened it i had to resist the urge to give it a little jiggle for the sediment to dissolve. It was rather easy to use with a cotton tip, but a built in applicator would be beneficial. Just dab the tip in the solution all the way to the sediment, then dab onto your blemish. The color match wasnt quite to my skin tone and perhaps a range of custom tones like with foundation could be explored. It dried quickly and created a protective barrier on my skin, and also helped ease the urge to pick at them. I left this on overnight and did find in the morning the redness and swelling had reduced.

It contains Plenty of powerful ingredients and it definitely seems to do the job! I definitely saw a reduction in swelling and inflammation within a couple hours of applying it. I highly recommend this product to anyone with acne prone skin.
