The shampoo was fragrant free. It was smooth and lathered well with only a small amount used each time. This was enough to shampoo my hair thoroughly. It left my hair feeling fresh, clean and soft. It was gentle on my scalp and combining with the conditioner, my scalp was clean and less irritated from prior to use. Based on my experience I would recommend DermaVeen Hair + Scalp Extra Hydration Shampoo for anyone with scalp issues and general hair care. I’d recommended using as a combination of the two as I found the shampoo cleansed my hair and the conditioner left it feeling fresh and no lingering fragrance to worry about.

I didn't realise that I had been using very drying shampoo and conditioner until I tried this one and I always thought my hair was frizzy. I found my hair less frizzy and easier to style and way more soft. I normally use my hair treatment twice a week but I didn't have to use it as much and I found my hair was falling out less often.

My hair felt soft and supple for days, but i exercise often and live in QLD so I was washing it every 3 days so it could work even better in lower tropical climates. The only thing I didn't love about the product was that it had no smell, I do like when my hair products have a scent. I would definitely recommend this product to others and was gifted this product from Dermaveen to trial.

The shampoo leaves my hair feeling clean without making it feel dry or like straw (which I really appreciate). It lathers up nicely and rinses out easily which makes the whole process quick and convenient. I have bleached blonde hair with dry ends for reference! I would definitely buy the shampoo again, but I think I’ll pair with a different conditioner

It does make your hair feel slightly dry while using it but once I used their conditioner after my hair felt so incredibly soft. I felt like I got an extra day out of my hair also between washes. The before and after pics is my hair blow dried but not straightened. I have now started using it on my daughters hair which is curly and leaves the most beautiful curls after being washed with this.

Now when it came to hair products also it has turned to be my favourite. the product has been gentle on my scalp, nourishing for the scalp and hair. best results when used with the conditioner in the same range. my dry frizzy damaged hair has become soft managable and looking healthy. I previously struggled with dandruff and DermaVeen Shampoo has really improved that. I also find my hair is not as oily in between washes, my hair texture feels softer for longer and the hair fall out seems to reduce. There is no fragrance to the shampoo which works well for my sensitive skin. This shampoo does not sting my eyes. Overall I highly recommended.

I colour my hair so it’s quite dry from bleach and hot tools but I also have a sensitive scalp. When I used this for 2 weeks I was pleasantly surprised at how gentle the formula was on my scalp. It really helped ease my itchy scalp as well as make my hair feel softer from hydration. Personally I felt I needed to use quite a bit as it doesn’t get too soapy but I really enjoyed using it.

From the first wash, my strands felt moisturised without being weighed down which as a fine haired girlie is really important. One of the standout features is that it’s paraben-free, which is a huge plus for me. I love knowing that I’m using a formula free from harsh chemicals that could damage my hair over time. It lathers well, cleanses thoroughly, and rinses out easily without stripping my natural oils.I was able to go the same amount of time between washes so the extra hydration has not caused me any issues on that front. The packaging is simple, which is okay as I’d rather the cost go towards the product than fancy packaging. I also could not detect a scent which is also a bonus for me. I sued in conjunction with the matching conditioner, and it works well. I do not suffer from any skin allergies, but the product caters well for those who might have. I recommend it if a more natural alternative is required.
